In March, Amazfit globally unveiled the Amazfit BIP 6 with a price tag of $80. The brand is now gearing up to unveil it in India, as early as next week. While the company hasn’t officially confirmed the launch, sources familiar with the matter suggest that the unveiling is imminent — and that the device will mark a significant step forward in the BIP series.

The Amazfit BIP 6 will represent a shift in the brand’s approach to the BIP series, pushing it closer to the premium smartwatch segment. One of the headline upgrades is a significantly brighter display — expected to reach up to 2000 nits — which would be among the most luminous in its category. This means improved outdoor visibility, particularly under harsh sunlight.

Another welcome improvement is the addition of built-in GPS navigation — a first for the BIP range. This move aligns the BIP 6 with more fitness-focused smartwatches and should appeal to runners, hikers, and outdoor enthusiasts looking for reliable route tracking without depending on a smartphone.

Beyond performance features, the BIP 6 is said to maintain Amazfit’s hallmark long battery life. It is expected to run up to 15 days on a single charge, supporting uninterrupted usage across daily tasks, workouts, and sleep tracking. Combined with its lightweight design and focus on health tracking, the BIP 6 could be positioned as a compelling option in the mid-range smartwatch space.

It seems that the BIP 6 heading to India could be the same as the existing version. At present, there is no information regarding the BIP 6’s pricing in India.
