OnePlus is gearing up to launch new smartphones from its popular Nord 5 series soon. But ahead of any official announcement, a fresh leak has revealed details regarding its design elements. So here are all the details that surfaced online.
OnePlus Nord 5, Nord CE 5 design leaked: Here’s what we know
The latest information arrives from a report from TheTechOutlook. It seems like the Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 will have a design that mirrors certain Ace 5 series models. The OnePlus Nord 5 borrows the same design language as the Ace 5 Ultra, while the Ace 5 Racing Edition‘s design may be reflected in the Nord CE 5 model. So we can expect an oval shaped camera module on the rear with an LED flash module.
While the overall design resembles the previous generation model, the Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 may have a more refined look. Among the other changes, the Nord 5 series could also include an action button and an IR blaster. For those unaware, the Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing Edition are upcoming mid range devices that will launch in China on 27th May 2025.
In a recent leak, the RAM, storage, official renders, and color options of the Ace 5 Ultra and Ace 5 Racing Edition had also surfaced online. So the Nord 5 could also debut with up to 16GB + 1TB configuration and in Breeze Blue, Titanium, and Phantom Black color options. Meanwhile, the Nord CE 5 could arrive with up to 16GB + 512GB configuration and Wilderness Green, White, and Rock Black versions.
