The launch of the OnePlus Nord 5 appears to be fast approaching. OnePlus’ next-gen popular mid range device has just been spotted in a fresh certification sighting in the UAE, confirming that the OnePlus Nord 5 could hit store shelves soon. So here’s what we know.
OnePlus Nord 5 global launch nears
The Chinese brand’s upcoming Nord 5 was just spotted in the TDRA certification in the UAE, carrying the CPH2709 model number. While this certification does not confirm any finer details like specs, pricing, and more, it does hint that the official launch is right around the corner. In one of our recent reports, we talked about how the OnePlus Nord 5 and Nord CE 5 could be making their global debut on 8th July 2025.

To recall, the Nord 5 is expected to be a rebranded version of the Ace 5 Ultra Edition, which was first introduced in China recently. The design of this model is also expected to be identical, if not similar, to the Ace 5 Ultra. We can also expect the specifications could also be similar between the Chinese and global variant. The Ace 5 Ultra was announced with a tall 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 1400 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, it is equipped with the Dimensity 9400+ SoC.
Other notable features include a large 6,700mAh battery pack with 100W wired fast charging, up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, a 50MP primary rear camera, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 16MP selfie camera. This is all the information we have at the moment. So stick around for more.
