A recent report revealed the upcoming Samsung Galaxy F17 5G’s variants and price for India. The device has also appeared on Geekbench, indicating that the company could be internally testing its performance before launch. Now, a new report by SmartPrix has revealed the entire specifications of the device.
Samsung Galaxy F17 5G specifications (rumored)
According to the publication, the Galaxy F17 5G will feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen that supports an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. On the front, it will have a 13-megapixel selfie camera, while the back will feature an OIS-assisted 50-megapixel + 5-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple-camera setup.
The Galaxy F17 5G will be powered by the Exynos 1330 chipset and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging. However, the charger will not be included in the package, claims the report.
The Galaxy F17 5G will ship with Android 15 and One UI 7. It is expected to support six years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates. For durability, the device will come with Gorilla Glass Victus protection for the screen and an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
Samsung Galaxy F17 5G price in India (rumored)
As per a recent report, the Galaxy F17 5G will arrive in two variants: 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB storage. These variants are likely to cost Rs 14,499 ($165) and Rs 15,999 ($180), respectively.
Being an F-series device, the F17 is expected to be sold via Flipkart in India. The above specs leak indicates that it will be a rebranded version of the Galaxy A17 5G, which is sold with a 25W in-box charger in India. Meanwhile, the Galaxy M17 5G — another sibling in Samsung’s budget lineup — is also expected to make its launch soon, but the F17 is expected to launch first.
