Apple has launched the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max, positioning them as the most advanced Pro models to date. The new iPhones feature a redesigned aluminum unibody structure, improved thermal efficiency through a vapor chamber, and the new A19 Pro chip.

iPhone 17 Pro / Pro Max Specifications
The iPhone 17 Pro features a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a resolution of 2622×1206 pixels, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max features a 6.9-inch panel at 2868×1320 pixels.
Both displays support ProMotion with up to 120Hz refresh rate, HDR, True Tone, and Always-On functionality. Apple has increased peak outdoor brightness to 3000 nits and added Ceramic Shield 2 protection on the front and back, offering improved durability and scratch resistance.
Apple powers both models with the A19 Pro chip, a 3nm processor with a 6-core CPU, 6-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine. It supports hardware-accelerated ray tracing and delivers up to 40% better sustained performance than before.
For the first time, iPhone integrates a vapor chamber cooling system, laser-welded into the aluminum unibody and using deionized water to draw heat away from the chip. This thermal improvement benefits AAA gaming, video production, and on-device AI workflows.

The iPhone 17 Pro lineup ships with iOS 26, which introduces a refreshed Liquid Glass interface and new AI-driven features. Apple Intelligence adds tools like Live Translation, Genmoji, Writing Tools, and Visual Intelligence for real-time content interaction.
Apple equips the iPhone 17 Pro models with three 48MP Fusion rear cameras: a wide, ultra-wide, and new telephoto lens. The telephoto lens supports 4x and 8x optical zoom and features a 56% larger sensor. The updated Photonic Engine improves color accuracy, sharpness, and low-light detail.
The front-facing 18MP Center Stage camera includes a square sensor, wider field of view, and dual capture support for recording front and rear video simultaneously. The devices support ProRes RAW, Apple Log 2, 4K120fps Dolby Vision, and genlock.
The Pro Max model delivers up to 39 hours of video playback, while the Pro offers up to 33 hours. Both support 50% fast charging in 20 minutes with Apple’s new 40W Dynamic Power Adapter. Wireless charging is available through MagSafe and Qi2 with up to 25W power.
Apple includes IP68 water and dust resistance, a customizable Action Button, and advanced camera controls. For connectivity, the devices include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, dual-frequency GPS with NavIC support, Ultra Wideband Gen 2, and a new N1 wireless chip.
