Edifier has officially launched the M130 retro-style mini Bluetooth speaker in China. The new speaker is priced at 299 yuan ($42) and is now available on JD.com. It targets users looking for a compact speaker with a nostalgic design and modern audio features.
Edifier M130 Specifications
The Edifier M130 features a palm-sized body that measures approximately 120mm × 77mm × 76mm and weighs around 0.44kg. It is available in five color options, including a vintage-style Quiet Moss Green and a wood-grain finish. The design includes a retro front grille made of woven mesh and piano-style keys with a red-copper metallic finish.
The speaker comes equipped with a self-developed 48mm full-range driver and an 80mm × 40mm passive radiator. It delivers 8W RMS output and supports peak power up to 16W. Edifier has tuned the sound for rich bass, clear vocals, and balanced output across different types of content. The frequency response ranges from 80Hz to 20kHz, and total harmonic distortion remains low even at high volumes.
The M130 supports Bluetooth 6.0 for stable wireless streaming and includes two additional input options: TF card and USB sound card. It can connect to smartphones, tablets, computers, or projectors with ease. The speaker also supports dual-device Bluetooth pairing, allowing seamless switching between connected devices. Two M130 units can be paired together wirelessly in TWS mode to deliver true stereo sound.
Talking about the battery life, the speaker is equipped with a 2600mAh battery rated at 9.62Wh, providing up to 11 hours of playback at 80% volume and up to 15 hours under typical usage. It charges via a USB Type-C port.
The Edifier M130 allows playback control through its physical buttons or the Edifier Connect app. The app enables volume adjustment, input switching, and selection of EQ modes such as Music, Party, and Audiobook.
Edifier ships the M130 in a premium gift box with gold embossing, positioning it as both a personal audio device and a presentable gift option.
