LG Electronics India Ltd. has officially announced the LG Essential Series, a new line of home appliances developed using feedback from over 1,200 Indian families. This marks the company’s first major initiative since its public listing, reflecting LG’s renewed focus on making innovation more inclusive and accessible across Indian homes. The new lineup comprises products tailored to meet local conditions, preferences, and everyday challenges.
LG Essential Series: Products and features
The LG Essential Series consists of four core appliances, a double door refrigerator, fully automatic top load washing machine, room air conditioner, and convertible oven, each engineered with Indian lifestyles in mind.
The refrigerator features Frost Free Technology and a Smart Mode that automatically adjusts cooling according to seasonal changes. It also includes a vegetable storage compartment that is 20 percent larger than earlier models.
The washing machine is equipped with Low Pressure Fill technology and a ProShield Motor with a dust- and moisture-resistant BMC cover, ensuring reliable performance in diverse weather conditions.
For cooling, the room air conditioner integrates Energy Manager+ with a “You decide your bill” option, letting users control energy consumption. It also includes a Diet Mode+ for efficient and comfortable cooling.
Lastly, the convertible oven brings India-centric cooking modes with Auto Cook menus for dishes like paneer, ghee, and dal, alongside Air Fry and Convection options for healthier meals.
LG Essential Series: Price and availability
The LG Essential Series will be available across India from November 2025, priced from around Rs 18,000 for entry-level models. Products will be sold through authorized LG brand stores, multi-brand outlets, and major online platforms.
