Xiaomi has launched a new addition to its smart home lineup — the Mijia Smart Electric Blanket (Single Model) — just in time for the colder months. The device is currently up for crowdfunding on Xiaomi’s Youpin platform in China at an early price of CNY 179 (around $25), before rising to the retail price of CNY 239 (about $34). Shipments are expected to begin on October 24, 2025.

The smart electric blanket measures 1.8 x 0.8 meters and is designed for single beds. It features a soft polyester surface and hidden 80W heating elements woven through the fabric for consistent warmth. Xiaomi says it uses a triple insulation system to keep the temperature even while preventing hotspots or electrical risks.

The standout feature is its smart control system. Users can manually adjust settings using the included controller or connect it to the Mijia app for remote operation. Through the app, you can set temperature schedules, automate routines with other Xiaomi devices, or even use Xiao AI voice commands. There’s also a smart sleep mode that adjusts temperature automatically through the night for better comfort.

Beyond heating, the blanket offers high-heat mite removal and dehumidification modes to keep bedding fresh. Safety is covered by an eight-layer protection system and 3C certification, ensuring reliable operation with low radiation output.

Global release details haven’t been confirmed yet, but considering Xiaomi’s recent expansion of its smart home range, the Mijia Smart Electric Blanket could find its way to more markets soon.
