Fiio has launched the JT3, a new pair of open-back wired headphones priced at $69.99. The silver version is available through the Fiio store on AliExpress.

The JT3 uses an open-back design that helps reduce heat, moisture, and pressure buildup while creating a wider and more open soundstage. Inside, it features large 50mm dynamic drivers that deliver detailed sound with strong bass and clear highs.

The drivers use a PEK and PU composite diaphragm that combines stiffness and flexibility. This design keeps the headphones lightweight while reducing distortion. A built-in brass damping ring helps control unwanted vibrations, allowing the JT3 to reproduce every detail in the music more accurately.

For power and performance, the JT3 uses a lightweight TIL former and a CCAW voice coil. The TIL material offers high strength and heat resistance, preventing deformation, while the CCAW coil improves sensitivity and efficiency. High-performance N52 magnets provide strong output and fast response, boosting overall clarity and depth.

The outer shell is made of aluminum-magnesium alloy with a perforated grille that enhances airflow and reduces pressure inside the earcups. The drivers are angled to match the ear’s shape, which improves comfort and sound direction.

The velvet earpads are soft, detachable, and washable, with memory foam inside for a comfortable fit. The dense velvet fabric is durable and resists wrinkles even with regular use. The JT3 weighs 330 grams and has a sturdy stainless steel and zinc alloy headband with ball-bearing sliders for easy adjustment.

The cable is made from palladium-plated oxygen-free copper and connects through dual 3.5mm TRS plugs with color indicators for left and right. It includes an in-line microphone and controls for calls and playback, as well as a 3.5mm to 6.3mm adapter for wider compatibility.
