While ASUS has yet to reveal any details or tease any new gaming smartphones, a new leak has hinted that the ROG Phone 10 series might be arriving soon with various upgrades over its predecessor. So here’s everything you need to know.
Next-Gen ASUS ROG Phone 10 Series Leaked
To recall, the company had launched the ASUS ROG Phone 9 and ROG Phone 9 Pro back on 19th November 2024. So after a whole year, one would expect that the brand is at least teasing the next gen models, but there has been no teaser so far. However, known tipster Smart Pikachu has revealed some details ahead of any official teasers. He claims that the ASUS ROG Phone 10 series is on the way with Qualcomm’s latest and greatest, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC.
This chip would offer notable improvement in performance, like hardware level ray tracing, and upgrades in handling AI workloads. Smart Pikachu adds that the company will pack the ASUS ROG Phone 10 series with an improved heat dissipation system to keep this powerful chip cool. Last year’s ROG Phone 9 offered a super smooth 165Hz refresh rate display, which will likely return on the next gen models as well.
Earlier this year, ASUS launched the ROG Phone 9 FE, so the ROG Phone 10 series might also get a similar affordable option. Keep in mind that this is still just an unconfirmed report at the moment. Take this news with a pinch of salt and stick around for more.
