Oppo Enco X4 debuts with 6nm chip, up to 13h/53h battery, Dynaudio-tuned audio

Oppo just dropped a new pair of true wireless earbuds alongside the Find X10 series. The Enco X4 focuses on better sound, smarter noise control, and a few practical AI tricks.

Oppo teamed up with Dynaudio’s Scandinavian sound-tuning team for these, calling it their first “lossless Dynaudio sound quality” headphones. They support high-fidelity lossless transmission up to 2.3 Mbps and can handle 48 kHz/24-bit audio.

Inside, you’ve got a fourth-generation coaxial dual-unit setup with dual DAC crossover driving. Oppo says this gives clearer layering. A polymer diaphragm is meant to deliver punchy but controlled bass, while a concentric symmetrical magnetic circuit handles the finer details in strings and such. They’re claiming low distortion across the full frequency range and true lossless performance from end to end.

Battery life looks solid. Official numbers claim up to 13 hours of music playback on the earbuds alone (AAC) and a total of 53 hours with the case. Switch to LHDC and those numbers drop a bit, up to 10 hours on the buds / 42 hours with the case, but still pretty competitive.

The case supports both wired and wireless charging (USB-C), the earbuds are IP55 rated for dust and water resistance, and each bud weighs about 5.6 g. Connectivity runs on Bluetooth 6.1 with support for AAC, SBC, LHDC, and LC3.

The main chip has been upgraded from 12 nm to 6 nm. You also get spatial audio, quick voice commands, head-gesture controls, and stereo recording.

One of the more interesting additions is AI real-time translation that covers 24 common languages. In the right situations, one person can read the translation on a screen while the other listens through the earbuds. No need to keep holding the phone up as a go-between.

Pricing and availability:

They were announced with a regular price of 1,199 yuan (about $178), while the pre-sale price drops to 1,099 yuan (about $164). There’s no word yet on global availability.

That said, Oppo did bring a slightly tweaked Enco X3s to markets like the UK, Australia, and Singapore last October, after the original Enco X3 launched in China in October 2024. So international versions aren’t out of the question.
