Xiaomi is already implementing moves that would ensure that its products get into the hands of its numerous fans all over the world. To this end, the Chinese company has opened its first authorized Mi Store in the Philippines. The Mi Store is located just beside Cinema 5 on the fourth floor of the TriNoma Mall in Quezon City.
Although the Mi Store Philippines isn’t operated directly by XIaomi, the store sells only Xiaomi branded products. This isn’t limited to smartphones, as you can find on the shelf other products like Xiaomi laptops, Mi Robot Vacuum cleaner, Mi Router, Mi Dash camera, Mi luggage, MIJIA Smart IP camera, Mi Band 2, Mi Air Purifier, Electric Scooter and several others.

The grand opening of the Mi Store was greeted with an influx of fans, some of whom were said to have arrived the venue as early as 5 AM. The large turnout ensured there was a long queue of fans who wanted to be among the first to experience Xiaomi’s wide range of innovative products and indeed, the early birds were the first to get the opening day discounts on products. There are indications that a second Mi Store may be opened soon in the Philippines. The large followership may prompt Xaiomi to hasten up the opening of more Mi Stores in other cities such as Cebu and Davao.
