The LG G8 ThinQ is launching at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 later this month. Reliable tipster and industry expert Evan Blass shared a fresh render of the G8 ThinQ. The new render has revealed the entire design of the smartphone from all angles.

The LG G8 ThinQ render shows that it is equipped with a notched display. In fact, the front design of the phone is quite similar to the G7 ThinQ smartphone. Even the size of the notch on the G8 ThinQ is same as the G7 ThinQ. The side bezels of the phone are slightly narrower than the predecessor model.

The backside of the G8 ThinQ is made out of glass which features a horizontal dual camera setup and a fingerprint scanner. The G7 ThinQ was equipped with a vertical dual camera module. The G8 ThinQ name is placed at the center of the back panel and LG branding can be seen towards the bottom. The bottom edge of the phone features a USB-C port and a 3.5mma audio jack. The left edge of the phone features a volume rocker and a dedicate button for accessing Google Assistant. On the right side of the G8 ThinQ is a power button.

The G8 ThinQ is expected to house a 6.1-inch OLED display that will offer quad HD+ resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels. The Snapdragon 855 chipset will be present under the hood of the device.

It could be assisted by 6 GB of RAM and it may come with an inbuilt storage of 128 GB. For more storage, it is likely to feature a microSD card slot. The smartphone may feature a 3,400mAh battery and it will be preloaded with Android 9 Pie OS.

LG G8 ThinQ Price

The G8 ThinQ is likely to get announced on Feb. 28 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019 in Barcelona, Spain. It may release in the U.S. on March 22. The smartphone is expected to arrive in Canada with a price tag of $1,999 CAD. In the U.S., it may cost around $900.

Some rumors have claimed that the LG G8 ThinQ will not be the only device launching at MWC 2019. There is a possibility that the LG V50 ThinQ with 5G support may also debut alongside the G8 ThinQ.
