Recent reports have revealed that Vivo will be soon launching the Vivo X70 series of smartphones in China, India, and other markets. The V2104 and V2105 phones that have appeared at the Geekbench benchmarking site in the recent past are believed to be the global versions of the Vivo X70 and Vivo X7 Pro. The Pro model has appeared at the Google Play Console and in the Google Supported Devices list. As usual, the Play Console listing has revealed the key specifications of the smartphone.

The Vivo V2105’s image available at the Play Console reveals that it is equipped with a punch-hole display with curved edges. The screen supports a resolution of 1080 x 2376 pixels and a 440ppi pixel density. It appears that it features the same 6.56-inch AMOLED screen that was made available on the Vivo X60 Pro smartphone.

The Dimensity 1200 chipset (MT6893 model number) is present under the hood of the device. It is accompanied by 8 GB of RAM, and it is preinstalled with Android 11 OS. Rumors have it that the Vivo X70 series will break cover in September. The Play Console listing is a good hint that its launch may not be far away.

Probably, the X70 and X70 Pro will arrive with identical specs, and they may only differ in the camera department. The X70 duo may feature a Sony IMX766 50-megapixel primary camera. Rumors have it that the Vivo X70 series will feature Vivo’s self-developed “Yueying” ISP chip.

In related news, a couple of Vivo phones including the V2133A were spotted at the 3C certification platform of China in recent weeks. The IMEI database listing of the V2133A has revealed that this model is likely to debut in the Chinese market with the Vivo X70 Pro moniker. Its 3C listing had revealed that it may carry support for 44W fast charging. The Chinese and global variants of the X70 series are likely to feature identical specs, but the models heading to China could be powered by a different chipset.
