Hisense has officially launched its flagship TV in China under its Vidda brand. The Hisense Vidda 85V1F-S Smart TV features a massive 85-inch LCD screen with support for 4K resolution, HDR10, and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The newly announced TV offers a screen-to-body ratio of 97 percent and the company has added that it supports MEMC dynamic frame supplement functionality to improve the overall smoothness effect.
The LED-backlit of the Hisense Vidda 85V1F-S uses high-cost red phosphor which the company says increases the BT.709 color gamut value to 130 percent, which is 30 percent higher than the color gamut of the ordinary TV.
Underneath, the device is powered by a quad-core chipset that features four Cortex-A73 cores, coupled with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It supports dual-band Wi-Fi and supports attaching an external hard drive to function as NAS cloud storage.
Coming to the audio, the device has built-in 2×18W full-range speakers and a 25W subwoofer. Additionally, there’s a large 2.5L cavity for high-fidelity sound. It also comes with support for Dolby Atmos, Viper, and Dolby + DTS dual decoding.
Hisense is positioning this new flagship Smart TV as an offering for gaming enthusiasts and thus, comes with support for variable refresh rate (VRR). It has HDMI 2.1 interface and uses can connect their PS5, Xbox, or other gaming consoles to take advantage of the 4K 120Hz screen to play high-quality games. The TV can also be connected to Tencent’s START cloud gaming platform for playing games on the television set using a controller.

The Hisense Vidda 85V1F-S 85-inch flagship Smart TV is priced at 8,499 yuan in China, which roughly converts to $1,314 but those who pre-order the device can get it at a discounted price of 7,999 yuan, which is around $1,237.
