Dyson has launched the HushJet Mini Cool, a compact handheld bladeless fan priced at $99. This new product miniaturizes Dyson’s Air Multiplier technology, which the company first introduced nearly 17 years ago with its larger bladeless fans. The HushJet Mini Cool targets portability and convenience with its lightweight and safe design.

The fan features a 65,000 RPM brushless DC motor, generating airflow speeds up to 55 mph (25 m/s). It includes multiple speed settings for quieter operation or extended battery life, supported by a 38mm HushJet projection system for efficient airflow direction.

The fan features a rotatable air outlet, allowing users to adjust the airflow direction. The honeycombed mesh and HushJet nozzle reduce turbulence while keeping noise levels around 52 decibels at the lowest setting and 72.5 decibels at maximum power.

The device measures 7.9 inches tall and 1.5 inches in diameter, which makes it easy to carry and store. Its slim, cylindrical body weighs 0.46 pounds, roughly the same as an average smartphone.

The HushJet Mini Cool runs on a 5,000mAh rechargeable battery. It provides up to six hours of runtime on a full charge and fully recharges in three hours using a USB-C connection. Dyson includes LED battery indicators on both the front and back of the fan for easier usage tracking.

Dyson offers additional accessories for the HushJet Mini Cool, sold separately. These include a Neck Dock for hands-free use, a Charging Stand for desks, and a Travel Pouch for portability.

Dyson is adding a new device to its growing lineup of slim home cleaners. The company just announced the PencilWash, a product that builds on the design of last year’s PencilVac, which Dyson describes as the “world’s thinnest vacuum cleaner.”

While the PencilVac focuses on dry debris, the PencilWash is designed for wet messes on hard floors.

Like its sibling, the PencilWash packs its motor, battery, and electronics into its narrow handle. However, there’s no dustbin here. Instead, Dyson has swapped in a water tank housed inside a larger cleaning head. The machine relies on a single high-density microfiber roller brush to clean floors.

Dyson PencilWash cleans your floor against hard stains

The PencilWash uses a pressurized water system to feed clean water and a low-foaming cleaning solution onto the roller. As it moves across tile, laminate, or sealed wood, the roller scrubs the surface and collects dirty water into a separate compartment. The floor won’t come out completely dry, but Dyson says any remaining moisture should evaporate quickly.

At 4.9 pounds (around 2.2 kilograms), the PencilWash is slightly heavier than the 4-pound PencilVac. Even so, it remains lightweight compared to many traditional floor scrubbers. Its handle can also recline nearly flat, allowing you to clean under beds, sofas, and other low furniture without any hassle.

The device is rated for over 30 minutes of run time on a full charge. For larger homes, Dyson will offer a spare battery that attaches to the end of the handle, though it’s sold separately.

There’s also a notable difference in price. While the PencilVac with four rotating cone brush heads sells for $600, the new PencilWash costs $349. That lower price also includes a charging dock in the box.

The filtration system combines HEPA H13, activated carbon, and K-Carbon filters to remove ultrafine particles, VOCs, odours, PM2.5, and PM10. Dyson says each unit is fully sealed and tested to meet HEPA standards, ensuring no air leakage.

It uses real-time sensors to detect dust, allergens, and gases like nitrogen dioxide. Based on this data, the device automatically adjusts purification levels. It uses Air Multiplier technology to project over 290 litres of air per second across a room. Dyson has expanded its range of air purifiers in India. The brand has launched the Purifier Cool Gen 1. It comes at a time when pollution levels and AQI are expected to spike due to the approaching winters. Poor AQI poses numerous health risks including asthma and respiratory problems to people. Dyson’s latest offering aims to solve this issue with a cleaner and healthier living environment. 

Dyson Purifier Cool Gen1 specifications

The Dyson Purifier Cool Gen1 has a minimalistic design. Users get instant information about indoor AQI via the display on the LCD screen. The appliance also has a night mode that dims the display and makes less operating when the user is sleeping. There is also a sleep timer that will automatically turn off the purifier after preset intervals.

The Dyson Purifier Cool Gen1 is equipped with core filtration technology featuring HEPA filters that is claimed to filter out up to 99.95% of particles as small as 0.1 microns. It is also capable of detecting dust and pollen (PM 2.5 and PM 10), bacteria, pet dander, and mold spores. The air purifier also features an activated carbon filter that can capture and eliminate odors, gases, and VOCs. There is an automatic filter alert system that alerts users to replace the filter when needed so that the air purifier can keep functioning smoothly.

The Dyson Purifier Cool Gen1 also features air multiplier technology with an airflow of 290 liters per second. This ensures smooth and powerful airflow and optimal performance for purifying the whole room. The air purifier also features 350° oscillation ensuring that air is evenly distributed throughout the room.

The Dyson Purifier Cool Gen1 carries a price tag of Rs 39,990. But it can be purchased at a discounted price of Rs 32,900 from Amazon and Dyson’s online and offline stores across the country.

After multiple regional launches, Dyson has finally brought its Zone air-purifying ANC headphones to the Indian market. These premium headphones come with powerful speakers, a long battery, and a visor that lets you breathe purified air.

Dyson Zone headphones specs

The Dyson Zone headphones have a dual purification system to clean the air from common city pollutants and harmful gases. They also come with a special mask that sends clean air to your nose and mouth while you enjoy music or podcasts during your daily activities.

These headphones have a three-speed airflow mode that adjusts automatically based on how fast you’re moving, thanks to a built-in sensor. This makes sure you always get clean air.

Dyson cares about sustainability, and the headphones have an electrostatic filter that lasts up to a year before needing a replacement. This filter catches 99% of particles, even really tiny ones as small as 0.1 microns, and it also traps acid gases like nitrogen dioxide and sulfur dioxide.

The Dyson Zone headphones are also good at reducing noise. They have Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology and passive noise reduction that can cut down noise by 40 dB. The sound quality is good too, with smart technology to keep the sound clear. They can connect to your devices using Bluetooth 5.0.

The battery life of headphones is another strength, as it packs a massive 2600mAh battery. It can last up to 50 hours on one charge, but using the air purification function will affect the battery life. On the low setting, it gives you 4 hours, on medium 2.5 hours, and on high 1.5 hours.

Dyson V12s Detect Slim Submarine, an all-in-one wet-and-dry cordless vacuum cleaner, has been launched in India Addressing the limitations of conventional wet-and-dry formats, the Dyson V12s integrates advanced dry vacuum technologies with a groundbreaking solution for wet floor cleaning, offering users a comprehensive cleaning solution for diverse needs. At the heart of this innovation lies the Dyson V12s Submarine wet roller head, engineered to effectively tackle spills, stubborn stains, and small dry debris such as food crumbs. This cutting-edge technology combines hydration, absorption, and extraction methods to deliver an enhanced level of cleanliness to hard floors.

The roller boasts an innovative eight-point hydration system, evenly distributing water across its width through pressurized chambers and eight strategically positioned water jets. This ensures consistent water release of 18ml per minute, preventing excessive wetness.

Powered by a motor-driven microfiber roller, the Dyson V12s Submarine effectively handles spills and debris. A robust plate then extracts contaminated water, funnelling it into a separate waste-water tray for effortless disposal. With a capacious 300ml clean water tank and a slightly larger 360ml dirty water tank, the vacuum covers substantial flooring areas without compromising on performance.

The Dyson V12s Detect Slim Submarine is designed for seamless manoeuvrability beneath furniture and offers edge-to-edge cleaning capabilities. In addition, Dyson’s pioneering dust illumination technology reveals hidden dust particles by projecting light onto floors. A Hair Screw Tool is also included, adept at handling long and pet hair.
