Lenovo is adding to its Yoga lineup with a new pair of true wireless earbuds. Launched this week in China, the Lenovo Yoga True Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds are a budget-friendly audio option priced at 599 yuan ($88), with a temporary launch discount bringing them down to 509 yuan ($75).

The earbuds feature 12.2mm dynamic drivers and offer active noise cancellation (ANC) up to 40dB. For voice and video calls, each bud is equipped with three microphones. Lenovo says it is using voiceprint recognition and environmental noise cancellation (ENC) to isolate the user’s voice from background room noise during meetings.

The design is straightforward. The earbuds come in a pale off-white color, weigh 4.7 grams each, and have an IPX4 water resistance rating, so they can handle light rain or sweat. The charging case is a basic rounded pebble shape.

Lenovo has added deeper integration with its existing hardware to differentiate these earbuds. Opening the case triggers instant pairing, and connecting them to a Lenovo Yoga PC brings up a dedicated pop-up notification, mirroring the ecosystem features typically seen from Apple or Samsung.

They also support dual-device connectivity across different operating systems, allowing users to switch between a laptop and a smartphone with a triple-tap on the earbud. Settings, ANC modes, and touch controls can be customized directly via the Lenovo PC Manager software.

Coming to the battery life, the earbuds provide up to seven hours of playback on a single charge with ANC turned off, stretching to 36 hours with the charging case. If you keep ANC enabled, those numbers drop to 4.5 hours per charge and 24 hours total. Fast charging is supported, providing roughly two hours of playback from a 10-minute top-up, with a full charge taking about an hour.

The most interesting part of this build is the choice of processor. The Core i7-13650HX is actually a mobile chip designed for high-end laptops, though it is built on repurposed desktop silicon. Lenovo has opted to use it here inside a standard desktop tower. It features a 14-core, 20-thread configuration, which is split into six performance cores and eight efficiency cores.

The chip also includes a 24MB Smart Cache and reaches a peak turbo frequency of 4.90 GHz. It operates at a 55W base power but can draw up to 157W when pushed to its maximum turbo consumption. Lenovo paired this processor with Nvidia’s RTX 5060, a graphics card that handles standard 1080p and 1440p gaming, as well as basic video encoding and AI tasks.

For memory, the system comes with 24GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5600MHz. That is an unusual amount for a pre-built PC, since they usually ship with either 16GB or 32GB. It gives you a bit more room for multitasking than a standard 16GB setup without making the computer as expensive as a 32GB model. For storage, it includes a standard 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD.

The case design is functional and sticks to the established look of the Legion brand. The chassis comes in a Titanium Crystal Gray finish and relies on a mesh front panel for intake ventilation. The Lecoo Air 14 is a portable machine built around a unibody all-metal chassis that is just 12.95mm thick and weighs only 990 grams. The laptop is powered by Intel’s Core 5 315 processor with six cores and six threads. It is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5 memory running at 5600MHz and a 512GB NVMe SSD. The device ships with Windows 11 pre-installed.

Lenovo claims the built-in 50Wh battery can deliver up to 16.8 hours of battery life. The laptop also includes a 65W USB-C PD charger in the box. This version comes powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI 7 445 processor paired with 32GB LPDDR5x memory. Storage options include either a 512GB or 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD, with pricing starting at 10,999 yuan in China, which is equivalent to €1,399 at the current exchange rate.

The biggest appeal here is probably still portability. Lenovo says the laptop weighs around 1kg and measures about 16mm thick, which is impressive for a business machine that still keeps a fairly solid selection of ports and a full ThinkPad-style keyboard. The body uses carbon fiber with the usual matte black finish, so visually it still looks very much like a traditional ThinkPad.

The display is a 13.3-inch panel with a 1920×1200 resolution, 400 nits brightness, and full sRGB coverage. It also includes an anti-glare coating and low blue light support, which should help during longer work sessions. Nothing overly flashy, but it seems perfectly fine for office work, travel, and general everyday use.

Lenovo has kept most of the things longtime ThinkPad users tend to care about. There is still the TrackPoint in the middle of the keyboard, 1.5mm key travel, a fingerprint reader, IR facial recognition, and the physical ThinkShutter webcam cover. The laptop also meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards, which has basically become expected at this point for higher-end ThinkPads.

Port selection looks decent too. You get two Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.1, USB-A, and a headphone jack. Battery capacity is rated at 54.7Wh. Like many new laptops launching this year, Lenovo is also pushing the AI angle pretty hard because of the Ryzen AI processor and its built-in NPU. But realistically, for most buyers, the bigger selling points will probably still be the weight, keyboard, reliability, and overall portability.

Connectivity still feels very ThinkPad-like here, which is probably good news for office users tired of dongle-heavy ultrabooks. Lenovo has included support for Dolby Vision, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and up to 1100 nits peak brightness. The display also supports DC dimming for a more comfortable viewing experience during long gaming or streaming sessions. The tablet carries a modern gaming-style design with a customizable RGB “Legion Halo” lighting system on the rear.

Performance and Storage

The Lenovo Legion Y900 13 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, delivering flagship-level performance for gaming, multitasking, and demanding applications. It runs on Lenovo’s ZUI software based on Android 16, offering a clean and fast user experience.

The tablet comes with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. Lenovo also added microSD card support, allowing users to expand storage up to 2TB, which is useful for large games, movies, and media files.

Camera and Battery

For photography and video calls, the Legion Y900 13 includes dual rear cameras with a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. On the front, it features an 8MP selfie camera paired with a secondary 0.3MP sensor for video conferencing.

As scheduled, Lenovo has announced a new 300W Legion GaN charger, alongside several other products, including the Lenovo Yoga Air 14 Ultra and the Lenovo Legion Y70 smartphone, yesterday.

And while laptop chargers are usually the least exciting part of a gaming setup, Lenovo seems to be betting that people are tired of carrying giant power bricks around.

Lenovo Legion 300W GaN Adapter Specifications

The new Legion 300W GaN adapter uses GaN4.0 technology, which allows it to deliver high power output in a smaller body compared to traditional adapters. Lenovo says the charger is compact at a body footprint of 82 x 82 x 33mm, so you don’t have to carry oversized adapters that typically ship with high-performance gaming laptops.

The charger supports Lenovo’s proprietary 20V/15A fast charging protocol and is designed for Legion gaming laptops that run in performance mode. 

The adapter uses a three-prong grounded plug design that the company says helps prevent static leakage. It also claims the charger can maintain a stable 300W output by operating within a “golden voltage range” between 200V and 240V.

There are also some smaller hardware touches for durability. It has a reinforced Slim square connector, soft rubber reinforcement around the cable, and a 1.5-meter charging cable in the box. An optional version with a digital display can show real-time charging power through what Lenovo calls its “AI Power” monitoring system.

The adapter supports a long list of Legion laptops from 2023 through 2026, including models in the Legion 7000P, 7000X, 9000P, and 9000X series. Lenovo also says that other laptops using its Slim square charging connector may technically work with the adapter, though charging performance could vary depending on the system and BIOS limitations.

The Legion 300W GaN adapter is priced at 399 yuan (~ $58) in China and will officially go on sale on May 31.

After staying away from the smartphone market for several years, Lenovo has officially returned with the new Lenovo Legion Y70 in China. The company’s last branded gaming phone was the Legion Y90, which launched back in 2022.

Now, Lenovo is trying to re-enter the gaming phone segment with hardware that has flagship-grade specs. 

Lenovo Legion Y70 Specifications 

The Legion Y70 comes with a 6.82-inch BOE Q10 OLED display featuring a 2K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and LTPO technology for adaptive refresh rates. Lenovo says the panel can reach up to 7,000 nits of peak brightness and also supports Dolby Vision. 

Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, paired with LPDDR5X Ultra RAM running at up to 9,600 Mbps and UFS 4.1 storage. You can choose between 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 12GB with 512GB, and 16GB with 512GB. There is also a higher-end variant with 1TB of storage.

For cooling, Lenovo uses a large 5,500 mm² vapor chamber system, which the company claims can reduce CPU temperatures by up to 7 degrees Celsius during heavy workloads like gaming.

Backing this up is a massive 8,000mAh battery. The phone supports 90W fast charging and also includes bypass charging. Lenovo claims the battery is designed to maintain long-term health for up to 1,200 charging cycles. 

On the camera side, the Legion Y70 features a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-710 main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, along with an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera capable of focusing as close as 2.5cm for macro-style shots. A 32-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls.

The phone also includes features such as IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, eSIM support, a 500Hz gyroscope, and Android 16 with Lenovo’s Tianxi AI 4.0 software features.

Price and Availability

The Legion Y70 is currently available for pre-order in China in Ice Soul White and Carbon Black color options. Pricing starts at CNY 3,099 for the 12GB + 256GB model, which roughly converts to around $450.

Lenovo has introduced the Legion Y960 gaming headset during its latest hardware launch event in China. It is priced at 599 yuan (around $88) and stands out by offering a physical 7.1-channel surround sound system. The headset comes in black and silver colors.

To achieve this physical 7.1 setup, Lenovo has engineered a patented six-driver acoustic architecture inside the earcups. The system pairs two primary 40mm drivers with four secondary 20mm drivers.

According to Lenovo, this hardware-level separation of audio channels is designed to help players better distinguish overlapping in-game sounds, like footsteps, gunfire, and environmental cues, with improved directional accuracy and lower latency than standard virtual processing allows.

The headset has Hi-Res audio certification and a frequency response range of 20Hz to 40kHz. It uses titanium-coated diaphragms, which are designed to help with audio clarity and dynamic range.

Lenovo also included a feature called Soundprint Perspective, which is tuned to identify and highlight specific in-game sounds to help players understand where sounds are coming from.

For communication, the Y960 comes with a detachable, unidirectional microphone. It features a cardioid pickup pattern and AI environmental noise cancellation. It also supports sidetone, so you can hear your own voice through the speakers and avoid talking too loudly.

The headset includes an inline controller with a dual sound card setup. This allows users to switch between 7.1 and 2.0 channel audio, and change between Game, Music, and Cinema sound profiles directly from the cable, without needing to install extra software.

In terms of design, the headset features customizable RGB lighting with 16 million colors and works with Microsoft Dynamic Lighting. For comfort, it weighs 346 grams and uses a suspended dual-side headband design to distribute the weight across the head, which is intended to make it more comfortable for longer periods of use. The ear cushions are fully enclosed to block out background noise passively.

The Y960 connects via a cable and comes with USB-C and USB-A options, plus a dedicated 3.5mm microphone port. It is a plug-and-play device, meaning it does not require you to download drivers to use it. It is compatible with PCs, consoles, handheld gaming devices, and phones.

At the same event, Lenovo also unveiled the Yoga 32 Ultra Aura all-in-one PC featuring a 4K 165Hz OLED display and Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor, alongside the new YOGA Air 14 Ultra Aura laptop powered by Intel Core Ultra chips.

Lenovo recently introduced a new all-in-one desktop PC in China called the Yoga 32 Ultra Aura. It combines a 31.5-inch display with Intel’s newer Core Ultra processors. The desktop is priced at 22,999 yuan (around $3,374), positioning it as a high-end option for users who want an integrated desktop setup without a separate computer tower.

The AIO uses a 31.5-inch 4K (3840 x 2160) OLED panel with symmetrical 12.5mm bezels. The display specifications include a 165Hz refresh rate, a 0.1ms response time, and 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. It reaches a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. Lenovo also added anti-reflective and anti-fingerprint coatings, as well as DC dimming, which is designed to reduce eye strain during extended use.

Inside, the Yoga 32 Ultra Aura is powered by Intel’s third-generation Core Ultra X7 358H processor, built on the Intel 18A process. This is a 16-core, 16-thread chip consisting of four performance cores, eight efficiency cores, and four low-power efficiency cores, with boost speeds up to 4.8GHz. Lenovo says the system can reach up to 180 TOPS for local AI tasks, which is a standard metric companies are currently using to market new PCs.

The processor is paired with 32GB of 9600MT/s LPDDR5X memory and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. To manage heat, the desktop uses a dual-fan cooling system with large-diameter heat pipes to keep operating noise down.

The PC also includes a 16-megapixel IR camera for facial recognition, a four-microphone array, and a quad-speaker audio system tuned by Harman Kardon with Dolby Atmos support.

The base of the monitor stand also has built-in RGB lighting. For connectivity, it supports Wi-Fi 7 and includes a standard mix of ports: Thunderbolt 4, HDMI 2.1, USB-A, USB-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Lenovo includes a wireless keyboard and mouse in the box.

Lenovo has officially announced the new Lenovo YOGA Air 14 Ultra Aura in China. The company says the laptop weighs just 975 grams while boasting a premium 14-inch OLED screen and Intel Core Ultra series processors. The device starts at 9,999 yuan, or some USD 1,470. 

The laptop is 13.9mm thick and comes with a skin-friendly silk coating that gives the body a soft matte finish. Lenovo is offering the laptop in three color options inspired by silk fabrics.

Despite the slim and lightweight design, Lenovo claims the laptop can still deliver up to 40W of performance output. To manage heat, the company has included a cooling system that uses a diamond copper thermal solution made with around 3.4 carats of diamond material. 

Lenovo says the laptop’s surface temperature can stay as low as 28 degrees Celsius during office workloads. The cooling system also includes a superconducting aluminum heat dissipation module and a high-strength aluminum fan.

As for the raw performance, users can configure it with up to Intel’s third-generation Core Ultra X9 388H processor. The chip includes 16 cores made up of four performance cores, eight efficiency cores, and four low-power efficiency cores. It can reach boost clock speeds of up to 5.1GHz and includes 18MB of L3 cache.

For display, the YOGA Air 14 Ultra Aura uses a 14-inch 2.8K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,100 nits. The screen also supports touch input for intuitive navigation. 

Lenovo says the laptop can deliver up to 27 hours of offline video playback and around 16.8 hours of simulated office battery life. 

The laptop also includes up to 64GB RAM and 2TB storage configurations, along with Windows 11 and Lenovo’s Tianxi AI assistant features.

Price and Availability

As mentioned earlier, the Lenovo Yoga Air 14 Ultra Aura starts at 9,999 yuan (around $1,470) for the Ultra5 325 model with 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. 

The Ultra5 338H model with 32GB RAM and 1TB storage starts at 12,499 yuan (around $1,840), while the Ultra X7 358H version costs 13,999 yuan (around $2,060). 

The top-end Ultra X9 388H model with 64GB RAM and 2TB storage is priced at 22,999 yuan (around $3,390). Lenovo has also announced educational discounts and bundled accessories for early buyers.

Lenovo has introduced a new accessory under its Legion gaming brand. The new Legion P5 power bank is now available for purchase in China with a starting price of 169 yuan, or some $25.

The device arrives with a built-in USB-C cable and a compact design, albeit with a sharp look. The Legion P5 reportedly adopts a mecha-inspired design language similar to other Legion products. On the front, there is an LED digital display that shows the remaining battery percentage and charging status.

Lenovo has equipped the power bank with a 10,000mAh battery and a 2C+1A port layout, which includes one built-in USB-C cable, one USB-C port, and one USB-A port.

The USB-C cable and USB-C port both support up to 100W output in single-port mode, while the USB-A port can deliver up to 30W output. Lenovo says the accessory supports several fast-charging protocols, including PD 3.0, PPS, QC, FCP, SCP, AFC, BC1.2, Apple 2.4A, and Moto 68W Turbo Power compatibility.

The power bank carries the model number LL10000P5 and includes four battery cells from Yiwei Lithium Energy. Lenovo lists the lithium battery energy at 36.72Wh, while the rated capacity is 5,950mAh at 5V/3A.

For input, the built-in USB-C cable and USB-C port support up to 30W charging speeds. When multiple devices are connected, the charging output changes accordingly. Dual-port and triple-port charging modes are limited to a combined 20W output.

In terms of size, the Legion P5 measures around 141 x 63.6 x 24mm and weighs approximately 296 grams. Lenovo is also bundling a user manual in the retail package and offering a 12-month warranty.

The new Legion P5 power bank is currently listed in China through JD.com, though Lenovo has not yet announced global availability details.

Lenovo has announced the AMD version of the ThinkPad P16s Gen 5 laptop for European markets shortly after unveiling the ThinkPad P14s Gen 7. The new mobile workstation brings updated AMD Ryzen AI Pro processors, LPCAMM2 memory, optional NVIDIA RTX Blackwell graphics, and a larger 90Wh battery option. The laptop starts at AU$2,979.

Lenovo ThinkPad P16s Gen 5 Specifications

The ThinkPad P16s Gen 5 AMD model comes with selections for AMD’s latest Ryzen AI Pro processors. You can choose between the Ryzen AI 5 Pro 440, Ryzen AI 7 Pro 450, and the top-end Ryzen AI 9 HX Pro 470 chip. The highest configuration offers 12 cores and 24 threads with boost speeds reaching up to 5.2GHz.

For graphics, the laptop includes integrated AMD Radeon graphics by default, but users upgrading the processor can also configure the system with discrete NVIDIA RTX Pro Blackwell GPUs. Available options include the RTX Pro 1000 and RTX Pro 2000 Laptop GPUs with 8GB GDDR7 memory.

One of the major upgrades is the use of LPCAMM2 memory. Lenovo offers memory configurations ranging from 16GB to 96GB LPDDR5X memory. The installed memory runs at LPDDR5X-7500 speeds due to platform limitations, although the hardware itself is rated for LPDDR5X-8533.

The top configuration features a 16-inch OLED display with a 2880 x 1800 resolution, 500 nits peak brightness, Dolby Vision support, and a variable refresh rate ranging from 30Hz to 120Hz.

The storage is available up to 512GB PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSD, while battery choices include a standard 60Wh pack or an optional 90Wh battery with support for Rapid Charge technology.

The laptop also includes a 5MP webcam with an optional IR camera, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 7 support, dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.1, Ethernet, and an SD Express 7.0 card reader.

The new IdeaPad model is powered by the 3nm Snapdragon X2 Plus X2P-42-100 processor with a 6-core CPU. This is paired with either 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5X memory. However, Lenovo is also offering up to 1TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, while the base configuration includes 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.

In terms of battery, Lenovo says the device can deliver up to 33 hours of usage with its 60Wh cell. You can charge the device via a 65W USB-C adapter. 

On the front, the laptop is built around a 14-inch touchscreen display and comes in two panel options. Buyers can choose an OLED version with a 1200p resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, HDR peak brightness of 600 nits, and full DCI-P3 color coverage. 

Lenovo is also offering a more affordable IPS panel option with the same resolution and refresh rate, but with 400 nits brightness and 45% NTSC color gamut coverage.

The I/O option includes one HDMI, a 3.5mm headphone jack, two USB-C with 65W PD support, two USB-A, and a microSD card reader. Wireless connectivity is includes up to Wi-Fi 7.

As for pricing, the IdeaPad 14Q8Y11 starts at £1,110 in the UK. In Australia, the starting price is listed at AUD 2,199. Across all regions, the entry-level variant includes 16GB of RAM, 512GB of SSD storage, and an IPS display.

Memory-wise, Lenovo is offering a wide range of DDR5-5600 configurations, starting at 16GB and scaling up through multiple options, including 24GB, 32GB, 48GB, 64GB, and topping out at 96GB. 

Storage options include PCIe 4.0 and PCIe 5.0 SSDs with capacities reaching 2TB. Lenovo is also giving buyers several display choices depending on how they plan to use the machine.

The base models use 14-inch WUXGA IPS panels, while higher-end versions add brighter 500-nit screens with full sRGB coverage, touch support, and low blue light certification. The standout option is a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display with a 120Hz variable refresh rate, 500 nits of brightness, and 100 percent DCI-P3 color coverage. It also supports DisplayHDR True Black 500.

The ThinkPad P14s Gen 7 offers at least a 60Wh battery, though Lenovo also offers an optional 75Wh battery for users who want longer runtime. Lenovo just shared the details for its 2026 Legion Y7000X gaming laptop. It’s a 15-inch machine that pairs Intel’s new Core Ultra processors with Nvidia’s RTX 50-series graphics. If you live outside of China, you will likely see this same hardware sold as the Lenovo Legion 5i (specifically the 15IAX11 model).

Lenovo Legion Y7000X Specifications

The display is a 15.3-inch OLED panel with a 2560 x 1600 resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. Lenovo says it has a 0.3ms response time. Because it uses an OLED panel, it carries VESA’s DisplayHDR True Black 1000 certification and reaches a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. It also covers the full DCI-P3 color gamut and comes factory-calibrated, so it should work fine for photo or video editing if you need to use it for tasks other than gaming.

Inside, the base model runs on an Intel Core Ultra 7 251HX processor (an 18-core, 18-thread chip that boosts up to 5.1GHz). For graphics, it uses an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 laptop GPU. The system is designed to handle up to 170W of total power, with 115W allocated to the GPU. To manage the heat from these components, Lenovo is using its second-generation Qiankun cooling system.

The laptop weighs 1.95kg (about 4.3 pounds) and is roughly 19mm thick. It’s not the lightest laptop on the market, but it is relatively portable for a gaming machine.

It comes with 16GB of DDR5-6400 RAM and a 1TB PCIe 5.0 SSD. Lenovo included two memory slots, so you can upgrade the RAM yourself later.

The port selection includes three USB-A ports, one standard USB-C port, a Thunderbolt / USB4 port, HDMI 2.1, and an Ethernet jack. It has a Killer Wi-Fi 6E card for wireless internet, an 80Wh battery, and a backlit keyboard with a number pad. Lenovo is also including its Tianxi AI software, which is standard for its current lineup.

Later on, Lenovo plans to offer versions with an Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor and an RTX 5070 laptop GPU with 12GB of VRAM. There is no official word yet on pricing or exactly when the global versions will hit store shelves.

The N2757Q features a 27-inch Fast IPS display. It comes with a 2560 x 1440 resolution, delivering sharp 2K visuals with a pixel density of 108PPI. Lenovo equips the monitor with a native 200Hz refresh rate that can be overclocked to 210Hz. The panel also supports a 1ms GtG response time.

The monitor features HDR400 support with up to 400 nits brightness. Lenovo claims the display covers 121% sRGB and 96% DCI-P3 color gamut, while also supporting 10-bit color depth through 8-bit + FRC processing. This allows the monitor to display up to 1.07 billion colors.

Lenovo further equips the N2757Q with factory color calibration rated at Delta E <2, aiming to provide accurate colors for creative workloads such as photo editing, video editing, and graphic design.

For eye comfort, the display features hardware-level low blue light technology alongside DC dimming flicker-free support. Lenovo says the hardware low blue light solution reduces harmful blue light emission while maintaining more natural color reproduction compared to traditional software filtering methods.

The monitor also includes several gaming-oriented features such as GamePlus crosshair assistance and selectable FPS and RTS gaming modes. Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports, two DisplayPort 1.4 ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The included stand supports tilt adjustment from -5° to 20°, while the monitor itself supports VESA 100 x 100mm wall mounting for flexible installation setups.

Lenovo has announced a new power bank, the Legion P5, which is scheduled to go on sale in China on May 19 for 169 yuan (around $25). It is a 10,000mAh power bank that supports up to 100W fast charging.

The power bank comes with a built-in cable measuring about 24 centimeters long and is made of a soft silicone material to handle bending in a bag or pocket. Visually, the Legion P5 has a mech-inspired design, which aligns with its Legion gaming brand. It also includes a digital display on the front that provides real-time information, showing the current charging wattage, the remaining battery percentage, and indicators for input and output status.

Internally, the power bank uses four 18650 automotive-grade cylindrical battery cells manufactured by EVE Energy, providing a rated energy of 36.72Wh.

For connectivity, the Legion P5 offers three options: the built-in USB-C cable, a secondary USB-C port, and a standard USB-A port. If you are using just one of the USB-C connections, you can get the full 100W output. The USB-A port maxes out at 30W.

If you try to charge multiple devices at the same time, the total power output is capped at just 20W across all ports. The device does support pass-through charging, meaning you can plug the power bank into a wall outlet to recharge it while it simultaneously charges a connected phone.

Lenovo included support for a wide range of charging protocols, including PD 3.0, PPS, QC, and Motorola’s 68W Turbo Power. There is also a low-current charging mode for smaller accessories like smartwatches and wireless earbuds, which you can activate by holding the power button for three seconds.

The Legion P5 weighs 296 grams and measures 141 x 63.6 x 24mm. It has received China’s 3C safety certification for both the cells and the main unit, includes standard electrical protections, and is approved for airline travel.

Lenovo is finally returning to the gaming phone market after staying quiet for the last few years, and the new Legion Y70 2026 looks like the company is jumping back in pretty aggressively. The phone is officially scheduled to launch in China on May 19, and based on the early details, Lenovo seems to be focusing heavily on battery life and thermal management rather than just chasing benchmark numbers.

One of the first things that stands out is the display. The Legion Y70 2026 uses a 6.82-inch 2K OLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, alongside a claimed peak brightness of 7,000 nits. Lenovo is using BOE’s Q10 display panel, which is claimed to be more power-efficient than many of the 1.5K panels used by competing gaming phones right now.

Under the hood is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, though notably not the Elite version. Even so, performance should still land fairly close to last year’s top-tier flagship processors.

Lenovo also seems to be putting a lot of emphasis on cooling this time around. The company mentions a large vapor chamber cooling system paired with something described as “10W thermal conductivity gel”, alongside gaming-focused network optimizations like a dedicated antenna setup for lower latency and more stable connectivity during online gaming sessions.

But honestly, the battery may end up being the phone’s biggest selling point. The Legion Y70 packs an 8,000mAh battery, which is massive even by current gaming phone standards. Lenovo claims up to 19.3 hours of gaming and over 57 hours of regular use, though real-world numbers will obviously vary quite a bit depending on brightness, game load, and network usage.

Charging is handled through 90W wired fast charging, and the phone also supports bypass charging to reduce heat buildup during extended gaming sessions while plugged in. Other specs include up to 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, Android 16, and surprisingly strong durability ratings including IP66, IP68, and IP69 resistance.

Pricing is expected to start around CNY 3,999 (roughly $588 at the current exchange rate), which could make the Legion Y70 2026 fairly competitive against other gaming-focused devices.

Lenovo is refreshing its pre-built desktop lineup in China. The company’s new Lecoo Bellator Blade 7000 models are scheduled to go on sale on May 13. They are straightforward mid-range gaming PCs that pair Intel’s new Core Ultra processors with Nvidia’s RTX 50-series graphics cards.

Inside, these desktops run on the Intel Core Ultra 5 230F. It is a 10-core, 10-thread processor sitting on an Intel H810 chipset motherboard. The chip has a maximum boost clock of 5.0GHz and 24MB of cache. It is a practical processor for a mid-range build, capable of handling standard gaming and everyday desktop tasks.

For graphics, buyers can choose between the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 and the RTX 5060 Ti. Both cards are built on Nvidia’s Blackwell architecture and include 8GB of GDDR7 memory on a 128-bit bus. They support Nvidia’s current software features, including DLSS 4 for frame generation and Reflex 2.

Lenovo is shipping all of these configurations with 24GB of DDR5 memory. Storage options include either a 512GB or 1TB PCIe SSD. The entire system runs on a 500W power supply, which is adequate for the power draw of these specific components.

The case design is typical for a modern gaming PC, featuring a glass side panel, some RGB lighting, and an angular front panel. Lenovo says its internal cooling layout can dissipate up to 700W of heat using standard airflow channels. The chassis is built from galvanized steel, using 0.8mm steel for the main body and 1mm steel for structural parts like the motherboard tray and side panels.

If you want to swap parts later, the case offers standard upgrade clearances. It fits graphics cards up to 390mm long (or 420mm if you remove the front fans), CPU coolers up to 165mm tall, and power supplies up to 290mm long. There is room for a 360mm liquid cooler on the top panel, mounting points for up to 12 fans, and a drive cage that holds two physical hard drives.

Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and Gigabit Ethernet. The front panel has two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and a headphone jack, while the back panel includes a mix of USB 3.2 and USB 2.0 ports, plus standard audio and display connections.

Pricing

The base RTX 5060 model with a 512GB SSD costs 8,199 yuan ($1,206). The RTX 5060 Ti version is 8,499 yuan ($1,250), and increasing the storage to 1TB brings the price to 8,999 yuan ($1,324).

The 2025 Lenovo Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition is one of those laptops that quietly wins you over the longer you use it. I’ve been testing it for well over a month now, and during that time, it accompanied me through launch events, flights, hotel stays, editing sessions, and long workdays. I haven’t personally used many competing premium 2-in-1 laptops recently, so I can’t directly compare them against every rival out there. But after spending this much time with it, I genuinely feel this is one of the best premium convertibles currently available.

The unit I tested comes with Intel’s Lunar Lake platform, a 14-inch 2.8K OLED touchscreen, and rotating hinge speakers. On Lenovo India’s website, this configuration is priced at Rs 1,74,005, firmly placing it in premium territory.

Built for travel and everyday productivity

One thing I appreciated almost immediately about the Lenovo Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition (14ILL10) is how practical it feels for frequent travel. I regularly attend launch events that often involve flying from Mumbai to Delhi and back, and those trips can easily stretch into 15 to 18-hour travel days. During those journeys, I’m constantly switching between airports, cabs, hotel rooms, and event venues while continuing to work.

The Yoga 9i handled that lifestyle extremely well.

The Luna Gray finish gives the laptop a premium look without feeling flashy. The aluminum build feels solid and reassuringly sturdy, while the 360-degree hinge remains smooth and firm no matter how often you switch between laptop, tent, or presentation mode.

And that flexibility genuinely becomes useful in real life. During hotel stays, I often used the laptop in tent mode while watching videos or listening to music. At work events or during quick presentations, the stand-style orientation also came in handy. Of course, you can fully fold it back into tablet mode as well, although realistically, because of the size and weight, I still found myself using it primarily as a laptop. Still, having the freedom to use different orientations depending on the situation adds a lot to the overall experience.

Despite being a convertible, the laptop never felt fragile during travel. It’s also reasonably portable for a premium 2-in-1, making it easy to slide into a backpack without becoming a burden during long commutes.

The port selection is also practical for a thin premium laptop. You get two Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, one additional USB-C port, a USB-A port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. I also found it interesting that the power button is placed on the side of the laptop instead of the keyboard deck area. It’s something I personally don’t encounter very often on laptops I use, but I eventually got used to it.

The keyboard deserves praise too. Lenovo continues to make some of the best laptop keyboards in the Windows space, and this one feels tactile and comfortable even during long writing sessions. There’s also a fingerprint reader placed as the extreme key on the bottom-right side of the keyboard. It works reliably, although the placement takes a little time to get used to. Also, there are dedicated buttons on the keyboard to switch between Power, Display, and Audio modes.

The keyboard backlighting is also quite good and genuinely useful in dim environments. One moment where I particularly appreciated it was while typing inside a moving car passing through a tunnel, where the backlit keys remained clearly visible without feeling overly harsh or distracting.

Speaking of productivity, the Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition supports the Yoga Pen, but my review unit package did not include it.

Battery life removes charger anxiety

The biggest highlight of the Yoga 9i has easily been the battery life.

This is one of the few Windows laptops where I genuinely stopped worrying about carrying the charger everywhere. Even during heavier usage involving Chrome tabs, YouTube streaming, article writing, social media usage, and light editing, the battery comfortably lasted through most of my workday.

There were several times I carried a power bank expecting I might need a quick top-up, but honestly, I almost never ended up using it. And if needed, the laptop can conveniently charge through USB-C power banks anyway.

The laptop packs a 75Wh battery, and paired with Intel’s highly efficient Core Ultra 7 258V processor, the endurance is genuinely impressive for a premium OLED convertible. Lenovo bundles a 65W USB-C charger in the box, and charging speeds are fairly quick as well. In my usage, getting close to 50 percent charge in around 30 minutes felt realistic, which is especially useful during tight travel schedules between events and flights.

That kind of reliability matters a lot when you spend most of your day away from a desk.

Another thing I noticed is how quiet the laptop usually remains. During regular usage, fan noise is practically nonexistent. It’s only during charging or heavier workloads that the chassis becomes slightly warm.

That said, my testing conditions were far from ideal. During some of the review period, outdoor temperatures were reaching around 43 degrees Celsius, while indoor room temperatures still hovered between 33 and 35 degrees Celsius. Considering those conditions, the thermals are honestly respectable. During normal unplugged use, the laptop rarely became uncomfortably warm unless I pushed it with intensive workloads.

Lunar Lake delivers smooth everyday performance

The Yoga 9i configuration I tested comes powered by Intel’s Core Ultra 7 258V processor, paired with 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD. Neither the RAM nor the storage is expandable on this device. For a thin-and-light 2-in-1 laptop, performance feels consistently smooth and responsive.

In daily usage, the laptop handled multitasking effortlessly. I routinely worked with dozens of Chrome tabs open alongside Discord, Microsoft Word, and multiple browser windows without noticing slowdowns. App launches feel snappy, Windows animations remain fluid, and the overall experience feels polished.

The Lunar Lake platform is clearly optimized around efficiency and AI-assisted workloads rather than brute-force benchmark numbers, but for the kind of usage most premium ultrabook buyers actually care about — productivity, multitasking, media consumption, presentations, light photo editing, and office workloads — it performs very well.

The integrated Intel Arc graphics are also surprisingly capable for casual gaming and lighter creative workloads. This is not a gaming laptop by any means, but it can comfortably handle lighter titles and some AAA games at lower settings if needed.

The 1TB SSD also deserves mention because file transfers and application loading speeds feel consistently fast throughout usage.

What stood out most to me, though, is how balanced the overall performance feels. The Yoga 9i never tries to behave like a bulky workstation laptop. Instead, it focuses on delivering a smooth premium ultrabook experience while staying relatively cool, quiet, and battery efficient.

The laptop also comes with a 5-megapixel IR webcam equipped with a c, and during my usage, I found it to be noticeably better than the average Windows laptop camera. It delivers good sharpness, decent colors, and reliable Windows Hello facial recognition for video calls and meetings, although in some indoor lighting conditions, the image can occasionally appear slightly soft or overexposed. Lenovo has also included a physical privacy shutter for the camera, which is always nice to have for added peace of mind.

OLED display and hinge speakers make this an entertainment powerhouse

The entertainment experience on this laptop is genuinely excellent.

The 14-inch 2.8K OLED display is easily one of the best aspects of the Yoga 9i. Blacks look deep, colors appear vibrant, and HDR content looks fantastic. Whether I was watching YouTube videos at hotels after events or catching up on shows during flights, the display consistently impressed me. The 120Hz refresh rate also adds noticeable smoothness while scrolling through Windows or browsing websites.

One thing worth mentioning is that the OLED panel uses a glossy glass layer on top, which gives the display a more reflective appearance near windows, under bright office lighting, or while using it outdoors. You can actually notice some of those reflections in a few of the images I’ve included in this review. Thankfully, the issue becomes much less noticeable once you increase the display brightness, since the panel itself gets sufficiently bright for most environments.

But what surprised me even more was the speaker setup.

I listen to a lot of music while working, and during this review period, I found myself listening to plenty of Michael Jackson tracks because the Michael Jackson movie was released around the same time. Songs like Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal, and Beat It sounded fantastic on this machine.

The rotating soundbar hinge speakers are genuinely impressive. No matter which orientation you use the laptop in, the sound output remains loud, clear, and immersive. That’s the clever part of Lenovo’s implementation — whether you’re using the device in laptop mode, tent mode, or folded back for entertainment, the speakers continue projecting sound effectively.

There’s very little distortion even at higher volumes, vocals remain crisp, and overall sound quality is among the best I’ve heard on a Windows laptop this thin.

Windows touch still needs refinement

Lenovo has added a feature called Circle-to-Do, which I actually found useful over time.

If you swipe inward from the left side of the screen, you can activate the feature and quickly circle or select on-screen content to perform contextual actions. It feels somewhat like an AI-powered shortcut layer built directly into the system. It’s one of those small additions you may initially ignore but gradually start using more often.

That said, while the touchscreen hardware itself is excellent, I still feel Windows 11 is not fully optimized for touch-first usage.

Technically, you can use this laptop entirely without a mouse thanks to the touchscreen. But in real-world use, there are still moments where touch interactions simply don’t behave the way you expect. Certain menus don’t appear properly, some apps still feel designed primarily for mouse input, and occasionally you end up reaching for the touchpad anyway.

Touch support in Windows has definitely improved over the years, but if you plan to use this machine entirely as a tablet replacement, there will still be frustrating moments.

Honestly, I feel Microsoft should focus more on refining and streamlining the Windows touch experience instead of pushing Copilot features left, right, and center. Hardware like the Yoga 9i already proves how good premium touchscreen laptops have become. The software experience now needs to consistently catch up across the operating system and third-party apps.

Interestingly, I also feel the industry itself may slowly move in this direction. I wouldn’t be surprised if Apple eventually launches an OLED touchscreen MacBook as early as next year, before gradually expanding touchscreen support across future MacBook models while perhaps keeping non-touch panels limited to entry-level variants. Premium laptop hardware is clearly evolving toward more interactive touch-first experiences, and Windows already has a major head start there — it just needs better optimization to fully capitalize on it.

Verdict

The Lenovo Yoga 9i 2-in-1 Aura Edition feels like a premium laptop designed around portability, entertainment, battery life, and overall user experience rather than just raw benchmark numbers. And honestly, it succeeds at that.

The OLED display is gorgeous, the hinge speakers are among the best in the segment, battery life is genuinely dependable, and the overall build quality feels premium throughout. Add the flexibility of the 2-in-1 form factor, and this becomes an excellent companion for travelers, content consumers, and productivity-focused users alike.

I haven’t used many rival premium convertibles recently, but after spending over a month with the Yoga 9i, I can comfortably say this feels like one of the best 2-in-1 laptops currently available. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a premium convertible laptop.

That said, one thing buyers should keep in mind is that while Windows 11 generally works well, the touch experience still isn’t always perfectly smooth. There are occasional moments where touch interactions can feel inconsistent or less polished than they should on a device designed to be used in multiple orientations.

PS: Don’t mind the keyboard key smudges visible in some of the images added in this post. The Lenovo review unit sent to me had already been used and reviewed by someone else before reaching me, and it was also fairly dusty when I received it. Also, while Lenovo’s official listing mentions that the Yoga Pen is included in the retail package, the review unit sent to me did not include the stylus.

Recently, the device, which bears the model number XT2611, was spotted on China’s 3C certification platform, revealing its fast-charging capabilities. Now, the Y70 has appeared in Geekbench’s database, revealing key details about its chipset, RAM, and Android version.

As seen above, the Motorola XT2611-1 device has surfaced on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. While it is labelled as a Motorola device, it is expected to launch in the Chinese market under the Legion Y70 branding.

The listing reveals that the Legion Y70 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, paired with 16GB of RAM and Android 16. In Geekbench’s single-core and multi-core tests, the device scored 2615 and 6681 points, respectively.

As for the other specifications, reports suggest that the Legion Y70 will feature a 6.8-inch OLED panel with a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It is also confirmed to pack a massive 8,000mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging.

For heat dissipation, the Legion Y70 is said to feature a robust thermal architecture that includes a 5500mm² VC cooling system, 12W liquid gold thermal interface material, and 10W high thermal conductivity gel. The device will reportedly be available in black and white shades.

Lenovo’s latest small gaming tablet is now on sale in the U.S. The Legion Tab Gen 5 was announced earlier for the European market and is now available through Lenovo’s official website in a single Eclipse Black finish for US customers.

The U.S. model comes with 12GB of LPDDR5T RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. It is priced at $849 and includes a Folio case and a 68W charger in the box.

The Legion Tab Gen 5 uses an 8.8-inch 3K LCD display with a 3040 x 1904 pixel resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio and 408ppi pixel density. The panel supports a 165Hz variable refresh rate, 144Hz touch sampling rate, 750 nits peak brightness, HDR10, and 98% DCI-P3 color coverage.

Power comes from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, built on a 3nm process. The tablet also includes Lenovo’s Legion Coldfront Vapor cooling system with a vapor chamber, which the company says improves heat dissipation by 32%.

The tablet runs Android 16 and includes Lenovo’s AI Engine+. The software features include improved in-game sound, AI noise cancellation for voice chat, and AI-based touch sensitivity optimization.

For cameras, the Legion Tab Gen 5 has a 50MP rear camera and a 50MP front-facing camera. The battery capacity is 9,000mAh, with support for 68W fast charging.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and USB-C audio. Lenovo has also included two USB-C ports, allowing users to charge the tablet while connecting accessories or peripherals.

The market for OLED gaming monitors has been steadily growing, and Lenovo is adding a new model to the list. Through its Lecoo sub-brand, the company recently launched the W3259PS in China.

It is a 31.5-inch display that includes the standard features expected from a current high-end desktop monitor: a 4K UHD resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, and a QD-OLED panel, priced at 5,499 Yuan (roughly $805).

The primary feature of the monitor is its QD-OLED panel. Because OLED uses self-emissive pixels, the display controls brightness and color at the individual pixel level. This results in the deep blacks and high contrast ratios typical of OLED technology. Lenovo also applied an anti-reflective (AR) coating to the screen to help reduce glare in brighter rooms. The panel has a peak brightness of 450 nits, which is standard for desktop OLEDs in this category.

For gaming, the W3259PS comes with a 240Hz refresh rate paired with a 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time, which helps reduce motion blur and ghosting in fast-moving scenes. It supports Adaptive Sync to prevent screen tearing and includes standard software features like on-screen crosshairs and preset picture modes for FPS and RTS games.

The monitor is also suitable for general content creation. The 10-bit panel supports 1.07 billion colors, covering 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 100% of sRGB. It is factory-calibrated with an average Delta E of less than 2, meaning the color accuracy should be reliable out of the box. To help with eye strain during longer sessions, the display incorporates a flicker-free design and hardware-level low blue light technology.

The port selection covers the basics for modern setups. It includes one DisplayPort, two HDMI ports, and a USB-C port that provides up to 90W of power delivery. The 90W output is useful for people who want to connect and charge a work laptop using a single cable. The monitor also supports Picture-in-Picture (PIP) and Picture-by-Picture (PBP) modes, allowing you to view two input sources at the same time.

Physically, the monitor comes with an adjustable stand that supports height, tilt, swivel, and pivot changes. If you prefer to use a third-party monitor arm, the back of the display supports a 75 x 75mm VESA mount.

The company teased the Legion Y960 headset earlier today. According to the teaser, the headset supports true 7.1 surround sound and uses a patented six-driver setup.

The headset also includes a sound profile visualization feature for enhanced in-game awareness. Lenovo claims the Y960 allows users to not only identify sound direction but also recognize objects through sound, providing a unique edge in competitive gaming.

While details about the headphones remain limited, the company has previously shared some information about its other products.

The Legion Y900 tablet series will be available in 11.1-inch and 13-inch variants. Both models feature a sharp 3840 x 2560 resolution with a 3:2 aspect ratio. The smaller variant offers an exceptional 415 PPI, one of the highest in tablets.

Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 7 is now official, quietly replacing last year’s Lenovo ThinkPad T14 Gen 6. Lenovo first showed the laptop at MWC 2026, but sales have only started in select regions.

For now, the new T14 is limited to Intel’s Panther Lake chips. AMD variants, expected to include up to Ryzen AI 7 Pro 450, are not available yet. The laptop is also missing from North America at launch, where Lenovo has listed it as “coming soon.”

Pricing is already live elsewhere. It starts at £1,560 in the UK, and between €1,719 and €1,829 across Europe, depending on the configuration.

The base model sticks to a standard setup. It comes with a Core Ultra 5 325 processor, 16 GB of LPCAMM2 RAM, and a 256 GB PCIe Gen 4 SSD. There is also a 60 Wh battery and a 14-inch IPS display with 1200p resolution.

Where things open up is in customization. Lenovo is offering eight Intel processor options at launch, including Core Ultra 5 332 vPro, 335 vPro, 338H vPro, Core Ultra 7 355, 365 vPro, 356H, and the top-end Core Ultra X7 358H. Memory can go up to 64 GB, while storage can be pushed to a 2 TB PCIe Gen 5 SSD.

There is also a display upgrade. Buyers can opt for a 2.8K OLED panel with up to 500 nits brightness and a 30 to 120 Hz variable refresh rate. Other add-ons include NFC, a fingerprint reader, an IR webcam, 4G WWAN support, and a larger 75 Wh battery. Lenovo also offers a 100 W USB Type-C adapter as an option.

Lenovo is set to launch the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 in India on May 1, 2026. The company has quietly put up a microsite on Amazon India, confirming the date and outlining the key details of the tablet ahead of its release.

The Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor and includes an NPU for AI-related tasks. Lenovo is offering it in four configurations: 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM with 256GB or 512GB storage. There is also support for microSD expansion up to 2TB. It ships with Android 16 and will receive OS updates up to Android 18, along with four years of security patches.

One of the main highlights is the display. The tablet comes with a 13-inch PureSight Pro panel with a 3.5K resolution of 3504 x 2190 pixels. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate, reaches up to 800 nits brightness in High Brightness Mode, and covers 99 percent of the DCI-P3 color space. Dolby Vision is supported as well. Lenovo will also sell a separate Matte Edition that adds an anti-glare layer for a more paper-like viewing experience. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, and it also features sensors like an accelerometer, RGB sensor, gyroscope, and Hall sensor.

Lenovo has introduced a new high-capacity power bank under the ThinkPlus line. The Lenovo ThinkPlus 190W power bank is now available for purchase in China at just 349 yuan (roughly $50).

For the price, you get a power bank shaped like a block with a built-in retractable cable. It stretches up to 75cm and supports bidirectional fast charging, meaning it can both charge devices and recharge the power bank itself. The retractable design also lets users adjust the cable length.

The device supports up to 190W total output across multiple ports. Lenovo says a single port can deliver up to 140W, enough to power laptops such as ThinkPad, ThinkBook, Apple MacBook, and Huawei MateBook. On the input side, the power bank supports up to 100W self-charging, so it won’t take as long to refill as many large-capacity alternatives. It also supports a wide range of charging protocols, including PD 3.2, PD 2.0, PPS, QC, and Lenovo’s own VDM standard, making it broadly compatible with devices across brands.

Internally, Lenovo has equipped it with four automotive-grade 21700 cylindrical batteries and an intelligent NTC temperature-control chip. The total rated battery capacity is 11600mAh.

The exterior uses PVD electroplating technology and comes in black and white finishes. There’s also a lanyard for portability, suggesting Lenovo expects users to carry this around rather than leave it on a desk.

The Lenovo Kaitian series is a line of commercial computers developed by Lenovo for the Chinese market. The series now has a new member called the Kaitian X5d G1d. 

It’s a notebook that isn’t trying to compete with mainstream ultrabooks in design or features. Instead, it is built around domestic hardware, down to the processor, and focuses on compatibility with government and enterprise systems.

On the inside, it runs on a Loongson 3B6000M processor based on the LoongArch instruction set. This is an 8-core chip clocked at 2.4GHz, paired with a second-generation LG200 GPU core.

Lenovo says the graphics performance is more than 60 percent higher compared to the previous Loongson 3A6000. The system also offers AI acceleration exceeding 7 TOPS (INT8).

Beyond the processor, the Kaitian X5d G1d’s software is another talking point. It comes pre-installed with domestic operating systems like Kylin and UnionTech, and supports commonly used apps such as WPS Office and WeChat. More importantly, it is compatible with OFD document formats and electronic signature tools, which are widely used in government workflows.

The Loongson chip also includes a built-in security processor and supports China’s SM2, SM3, and SM4 cryptographic algorithms. Lenovo also says the system enables full-process hardware encryption for storage and documents.

On top of that, the laptop has undergone source code-level auditing, and Lenovo claims there are no hidden backdoors and that it can handle vulnerability fixes independently.

For multimedia, the laptop supports H.264 and H.265 encoding and decoding, along with HDMI and eDP display output—just enough for high-definition video playback and basic design work.

In terms of hardware, the laptop ships with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, with support for upgrades up to 32GB and 1TB. It also includes a 70Wh battery and a range of ports, including USB 3.1, HDMI, and Gigabit Ethernet.

With all of this, the Kaitian X5d G1d is relatively light at around 1.5kg and comes with a full-size keyboard.
