    Frequent MIUI tipster Kacper Skrzypek becomes the first person to reveal the existence of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. He found the device in the MIUI codebase bearing the codename ‘marble’.

    He said that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. At the same time, Xkiaomiui revealed that it will boot MIUI 14 based on Android 13.

    Prolific leaker Digitial Chat Station disclosed more details about the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. He revealed almost all the key features of the smartphone.

    According to him, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo will be powered by an announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chipset. The SoC will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

    Further, he said that the handset will flaunt a 6.67-inch OLED display with a resolution of FHD+ and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will come with a triple camera system comprising a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP secondary unit, and a 2MP tertiary sensor.

    Last but not least, it will be backed by a 5,500mAh battery with support for 67W fast wired charging.

    Another leaker who goes by Wisdom Piachu disclosed an interesting detail about the Redmi Note 12 Turbo.

    As per him, the phone will feature an in-screen fingerprint sensor. Thus, it may launch as the first Redmi Note series device to arrive with this type of biometric sensor.

    The Redmi Note 12 Pro appeared on 3C with model number 23049RAD8C (Chinese variant). The listing revealed that it will carry support for 67W fast charging and will ship with a charger bearing model number MDY-12-EF.

    On the same day, the handset was also spotted in the IMEI database with two more model numbers 23049PCD8G (Global variant) and 23049PCD8I (Indian variant). These two international versions of the phone will release under the Poco brand. They might go by Poco X5 GT.

    Digital Chat Station said that there won’t be a ‘Pro Plus’ variant of the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. So there should be only vanilla and Pro variants.

    These two versions could differ only in some aspects and may share most of the specs.
