Nubia has officially expanded its foldable smartphone lineup, unveiling two new devices. The first is a Galaxy Z Fold 7-like notebook style Nubia Fold, while the other is a clamshell folding flip phone dubbed the Nubia Flip 3. Ahead of the official launch, the company has revealed nearly everything about these foldable devices, so let’s check it out.

Nubia Fold: Brand’s Premium Foldable

The Nubia Fold is Nubia’s first book-style foldable, arriving as its flagship foldable offering. It sports an 8-inch foldable OLED main display with a resolution of 2480 × 2200 and delivers a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the secondary panel is a 6.5-inch OLED panel with a 2748×1172 resolution and also runs at 120Hz.

Nubia Fold and Nubia Flip 3 — Nubia Fold

Under the hood, the Nubia Fold is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which is last year’s flagship chip from Qualcomm. This is coupled with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. A massive 6,500mAh battery pack powers this device, which supports 55W wired fast charging.

For photography, the rear has a 50MP main camera that is coupled with a 50MP ultra wide angle lens, and a 5MP macro shooter. You get a 20MP camera on the main and cover display for selfies and video calls. Other notable features include WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6, IPX4 and IP5X rating for water and dust resistance, a fingerprint scanner, and a hefty 249 gram body.

Nubia Flip 3: Affordable Flip Phone

On the flip side (literally), Nubia Flip 3 offers a more compact and budget-oriented foldable option. It features a 6.9-inch foldable OLED inner screen with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The cover screen is a smaller 4-inch AMOLED panel that can display quick notifications, act as a camera viewfinder, and more.

Unlike its more expensive sibling, the Flip 3 packs the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X, which is a processor that typically powers mid range devices. You also get 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. A smaller 4,610mAh cell powers this device. The rear has a 50MP main camera and a 12MP ultra wide angle lens, while the selfie shooter is a 32MP sensor. Other notable features include Bluetooth 6, WiFi 6, IPX4 and IP5X rating for protection against the elements.

Pricing and Availability

Nubia is expected to roll out both foldables soon. The Nubia Fold is set to debut in Japan tomorrow (4th December 2025) with a 178,560 Yen price tag, which is roughly around 1,145 US Dollars. This model will likely see a broader release next year. Meanwhile, the Nubia Flip 3 might go on sale in January 2026 as well, with a global launch also expected to follow soon after. The Nubia Fold comes in a single black color option, but the Nubia Flip 3 is listed in white and black variants.

How is Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold different from Huawei Mate XTs?

The era of dual-fold phones is finally here, and the competition is heating up. Samsung has just made the Galaxy Z TriFold official, and it goes head-to-head with Huawei’s Mate XTs Ultimate Design, the successor to the world’s first commercially available tri-fold phone.

Both devices push the envelope of what’s possible in foldable hardware, but they take drastically different approaches in form factor, display engineering, software, and overall user philosophy.

Folding Philosophy: Inward vs Outward

The most fundamental difference between the two lies in how they fold. The Galaxy Z TriFold folds inward, protecting its expansive 10.0-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display within a dual-hinge design. When shut, it presents a familiar 6.5-inch cover screen that mirrors modern smartphones. This approach offers greater protection for the main display, especially in high-dust or abrasive environments.

Huawei, on the other hand, embraces an outward-folding Z-shaped form in the Mate XTs. The display wraps around the body, allowing the device to switch between a 6.4-inch smartphone mode, a 7.9-inch intermediate mode, and a fully expanded 10.2-inch tablet. It’s more versatile on paper, but with one clear trade-off: the primary screen is always partially exposed, which could raise durability concerns in the long run.

Display Technologies and Stylus Input

Both foldables stretch out to around 10 inches when fully opened, but Samsung wins on refresh rate. Its 10-inch QXGA+ panel offers a 120Hz adaptive refresh and 1600 nits of brightness, backed by a 6.5-inch 2600-nit cover screen. Huawei counters with a slightly larger 10.2-inch OLED display featuring a 3K resolution and 90Hz LTPO refresh. The company also integrates M-Pen 3 stylus support, which is absent on Samsung’s TriFold, despite its tablet-like ambitions.

This gives Huawei an edge for creative users and productivity tasks, especially when paired with its advanced hinge design that allows multi-angle usage. Still, Samsung’s panel is brighter and smoother, offering a more premium viewing experience overall.

Build Quality and Materials

Both devices are engineering marvels, but their build philosophies differ as well. Samsung uses Armor Aluminum with a titanium hinge and Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 on the front, offering a relatively slim 12.9mm folded profile and IP48 water resistance. Huawei goes heavier on materials science, claiming aerospace-grade steel with 2400MPa strength, an eight-layer hinge buffer structure, and a hinge system that allows 0.1° precision.

Despite the Mate XTs sounding like a tank, it manages to stay lighter at 298g compared to Samsung’s 309g. Huawei also boasts a thinner unfolded profile at just 3.6mm at its slimmest point, besting the TriFold’s 3.9mm.

Performance, Battery, and Charging

Samsung relies on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy (3nm), paired with 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. Huawei opts for its own Kirin 9020 chip, which it claims improves performance by 36% over its predecessor. Both phones pack 5600mAh batteries, but Huawei wins decisively on charging: 66W wired, 50W wireless, and 7.5W reverse. Samsung lags with 45W wired and 15W wireless charging.

Camera Capabilities

Samsung arms its Z TriFold with a 200MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. It also includes two 10MP selfie cameras, one on the cover and one inside.

Huawei opts for flexibility over raw pixel count: a 50MP main camera with variable aperture, a 40MP ultra-wide with macro capabilities, a 12MP 5.5x periscope telephoto lens, and a 1.5MP multispectral sensor for color fidelity. There’s also an 8MP front camera.

Both devices boast powerful cameras, but Samsung’s advanced AI processing and reliable image tuning give it an edge. Huawei’s setup is versatile, yet Samsung may deliver better real-world results.

Software and Desktop Experience

Samsung ships the TriFold with Android 16 and One UI 8, ensuring full Google services and app compatibility. Huawei, still under U.S. sanctions, ships the Mate XTs with HarmonyOS 5.1, which lacks native Google app support outside China.

On the productivity side, Samsung’s DeX mode works natively on the device’s 10-inch display, letting it double as a mini-desktop without an external monitor. Huawei’s desktop mode requires projection onto an external display, making Samsung’s solution more seamless for multitasking.

Verdict: Samsung Has the Edge

The Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold feels more complete and practical for global users. Its inward-folding design protects the display, while the bright 120Hz screen, Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and full Android 16 with DeX support make it a powerful and polished foldable.

Huawei’s Mate XTs is bold with stylus support and faster charging, but its outward-fold design and HarmonyOS limitations hold it back. For most, the Galaxy Z TriFold is the smarter choice.

Motorola Edge 70 Ultra design revealed via leaked render

A new set of details has surfaced about Motorola’s next flagship, with a reliable source sharing what appears to be an early look at the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra. This will be the successor to the Edge 50 Ultra from 2024 as there was no Edge 60 Ultra this year. Here’s a look the first look at the company’s next-generation non-foldable flagship phone.

First look at the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra

The images shared by AndroidHeadlines show the Motorola Edge 70 Ultra in two colors with a textured finish on the back panel, giving it a distinct appearance compared to the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra from 2024.

The materials appear different from the eco leather used on the earlier model, and the new pattern resembles finishes seen on other recently released performance-focused phones. The camera island is positioned in the upper-left corner with three lenses, and the layout suggests main, ultrawide, and periscope telephoto roles.

The frame is expected to be metal, and the right side houses the volume and power buttons, while the left side contains a dedicated key that may serve AI-related functions.

Motorola Edge 70 Ultra specifications (rumored)

The front of the device has not been revealed, but the expectation is a centred camera hole with slim bezels and possibly a flat OLED display. A large screen measuring roughly 6.7 to 6.8 inches is expected, accompanied by a high refresh rate.

Early information points to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 powering the phone, a step below the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 that will appear in higher-tier flagships. Geekbench results show single-core and multi-core scores of 2,636 and 7,475, paired with a 16GB RAM configuration. It will come preloaded with Hello UX-based Android 16.

Camera details remain limited, although a periscope telephoto unit is likely, along with improved primary and ultrawide sensors. Battery and charging information have yet to surface, but the Edge 70 Ultra is positioned as a capable premium option with performance tuned slightly below the company’s future Elite-level devices.

Likely, the device will be rebranded as the Moto X70 Ultra in China. At present, there’s no word on the launch timeframe of both phones, but they may go official in the first quarter of 2026.

Xiaomi launches a $50 upright vacuum with 22,000Pa suction power

Xiaomi’s Mijia lineup is no stranger to sleek, affordable home tech, and its latest release continues that tradition. The company has launched the new Mijia Lightweight Vacuum Cleaner, priced at just 359 yuan (~$50). The product will go on sale starting December 8 on JD.com.

Mijia Lightweight Vacuum Cleaner Specifications

The upright vacuum uses a 110,000rpm high-speed motor that produces up to 22,000Pa and 50AW of suction power, strong enough to lift dust, crumbs, and hair from hard floors and narrow corners.

Xiaomi has focused on everyday practicality here. The main unit weighs only 860 grams, which is lighter than two 550ml water bottles, so it feels easy to push, pull, or lift during routine cleaning.

Xiaomi has equipped the vacuum with two cleaning heads. One is a slim floor brush that can glide under furniture while maintaining stable suction and preventing hair tangling.

The other is a 2-in-1 crevice tool designed for cleaning gaps, upholstery seams, keyboards, and car interiors. The cleaning wand detaches quickly for easy switching between modes and compact storage.

The vacuum runs for up to 40 minutes on its standard mode, powered by four 2000mAh lithium-ion cells. It also supports a high-power mode for deeper cleaning, which provides up to 10 minutes of runtime.

The device uses a Type-C charging port, allowing it to charge with common USB-C adapters. Xiaomi recommends placing the main unit flat during charging for safety.

The filtration system uses a five-layer setup that includes a high-speed cyclone chamber, micro-mesh steel filter, front sponge filter, HEPA element, and motor protection pad.

Xiaomi claims the system can trap 99.9% of fine particles as small as 0.3 microns, helping to reduce secondary pollution. The 200ml transparent dust bin and filter components are washable and should be air-dried for 24 hours before reuse.

The vacuum includes a simple control layout with one-touch buttons to power the device and switch modes. Xiaomi uses an ergonomic oval handle to improve grip and reduce hand fatigue during long cleaning sessions.

In related news, Xiaomi recently introduced a gas water heater that aims to eliminate sudden cold showers, and it also launched a smart car humidifier with HyperOS, USB-C connectivity, and support for the SU7 and YU7.

OnePlus 15 Receives New OxygenOS 16.0.1.305 Build with Better Stability, Camera Fixes, and Network Engine

OnePlus has begun rolling out OxygenOS 16.0.1.305 for the OnePlus 15, marking the second update since its global launch a couple of weeks back. Like the previous update, the new OxygenOS 16.0.1.305 also packs multiple fixes and improvements to polish the functionality and user experience of this new device . The update is live in India and is being pushed out in batches. Only a small percentage of users will receive it today, with a wider rollout planned over the next few days. The new update focuses on improving feature activation, camera performance, system behavior, and network tools. The activation of Circle to Search has been improved. Users who rely on gesture navigation can now trigger the feature even when the gesture guide bar is hidden by pressing and holding the area where the bar normally appears. The camera app now launches faster, improving overall smoothness and responsiveness. The update also fixes issues that caused inaccurate colors in certain photo scenarios and incorrect color output in videos recorded on cloudy days.

System-level improvements target reliability and user experience. The success rate of face unlock has been increased. OnePlus has also improved how the device handles overheating in specific conditions. General system stability has been enhanced as well.

Network functions receive a major set of additions. A new interface for the AI LinkBoost Network Engine allows users to view the number of network optimizations performed and how much lag time has been reduced. The device can now send real-time notifications when network acceleration activates under poor network conditions. Users can also test their network speed and view status details such as latency, upload speed, and download speed.

OnePlus 12 Receives OxygenOS 16.0.1.300: Faster App Launch, New Tools, Better Security

After pushing the major OxygenOS 16 update for the OnePlus 12, the brand has now has started rolling out OxygenOS 16.0.1.300 for the device. The update is now live in India and is being pushed out in batches. Only a small group of users will receive it today, and the wider rollout will follow in the next few days. The build number for this release is CPH2573_16.0.1.300(EX01). It is available only for users who have already upgraded to OxygenOS 16.

OxygenOS 16.0.1.300 Update features

The update focuses on improving speed and giving users more control over Home screen and system tools. App launch speed from the Home screen is now faster. When editing certain Flux themes, users can resize the clock. Widget customization gets an update too, with the option to rename widgets. New widgets have been added, including sunrise and sunset timings, and a combined weather and UV information widget.

The Photos app now supports automatic straightening while cropping and rotating portrait photos and architectural images. Phone Manager has faster virus scanning. The Daily Weather widget can now show rainy weather warnings. The Lock screen fingerprint “Ring” animation has been updated with a glowing effect. The update also includes the November 2025 Android security patch to improve system security.

Many buyers are tempted to pick this device up. But if you’re thinking of buying it, it’s worth understanding these points that might change your mind.

The OnePlus 15R is on the way

One of the big reasons you might want to skip buying the OnePlus 13R is that its successor is on the way. The Chinese brand is planning on releasing the OnePlus 15R in the global market on 17th December 2025, bringing high end specs and features. This model is expected to bring notable upgrades all across the board.

Based on the recent teasers, leaks, and reports, the OnePlus 15R will get a massive 8,300mAh battery pack with 100W wired fast charging. The device is set to pack Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, bringing high end performance and a smooth gaming experience. Taking advantage of this horsepower is the tall 165Hz display, which even matches the flagship OnePlus 15. So if gaming is a focus, the next gen model might fit you the best.

Lacklustre Cameras

The camera setup on the 13R is a clear example of “good on paper, inconsistent in reality.” The primary 50MP main sensor and 50MP 2× telephoto lens deliver decent daylight photos, and shots can look sharp and detailed under ideal conditions. However, the 8MP ultra wide angle lens struggles significantly in low light conditions.

While the main camera is much larger, it can’t match actual premium phones or devices with larger sensors. Similarly, even the telephoto shooter disappoints with a mere 2x optical zoom, which leaves more to be desired here. If photography is an important aspect when buying a phone, you might want to skip this one.

Bunch of missing features

A high end IP rating is basically the norm now for most smartphones. Mid range and above are now expected to offer at least an IP68 or an IP68 + IP69 rating for improved protection against the elements. But the OnePlus 13R only came with a weaker IP65 rating. Even the upcoming OnePlus 15R is expected to offer an IP68 + IP69 rating, which offers better water resistance.

For security, the OnePlus 13R shipped with an in-display optical fingerprint scanner. However, the newer phones in its class are getting an ultrasonic sensor, including the 15R. If wireless charging is a feature you often use, the OnePlus 13R skips the hardware entirely.

To recall, the OnePlus 15R is basically a rebranded version of the Ace 6T for the global market. In other words, the features of these displays are basically identical. Looking at the image poster, the OnePlus 15R will sport a tall 5.83-inch OLED display.

This panel will have a 1.5K resolution, a 165Hz refresh rate, a max brightness of 1800 nits, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. You also get a 3,840Hz PWM dimming and hardware level blue light reduction that promises a more comfortable viewing experience. So these specs are even on par with the brand’s flagship OnePlus 15.

Huawei pushes toward 2 nm chips without EUV

In a development that could reshape the global semiconductor race, Huawei filed a patent outlining a path to 2 nm-class chip production using only deep-ultraviolet (DUV) lithography tools – the very equipment it still has access to despite sweeping Western export controls that block extreme-ultraviolet (EUV) machines from ASML.

The patent, originally submitted in 2022 but only recently made public and spotted by veteran semiconductor researcher Dr. Frederick Chen, describes a sophisticated multi-patterning technique that could allow Huawei and its manufacturing partner SMIC to reach an ultra-tight 21 nm metal pitch – a critical dimension that puts the resulting nodes on par with the “2 nm-class” processes being readied by TSMC and Samsung, both of which rely heavily on EUV lithography.

At the heart of Huawei’s approach is an optimized Self-Aligned Quadruple Patterning (SAQP) flow that reportedly reduces the number of required DUV exposures to just four, a significant improvement over conventional multi-patterning schemes that often demand far more passes and drive complexity through the roof.

By pushing existing DUV infrastructure to its absolute limit, the company aims to leapfrog straight from its freshly demonstrated Kirin 9030 (fabricated on SMIC’s N+3 node) to a future 2 nm-generation offering without ever touching restricted EUV tools.

Commercial viability is still a question

Industry observers, however, remain cautious. Even if the technical feasibility is proven in the lab, the commercial viability of such an aggressively patterned DUV process is widely questioned. Quadruple patterning at these dimensions could be notoriously yield-killing, defect-prone, and astronomically expensive compared to single-exposure EUV, which is why the rest of the leading-edge industry has already migrated to the newer technology for 3 nm and below.

If Huawei’s SAQP-based 2 nm recipe ever reaches high-volume manufacturing, it would mark a remarkable act of technological defiance against the sanctions regime. For now, the patent stands as both a statement of intent and a reminder of how far China is willing to push decades-old lithography in pursuit of self-sufficiency.

This update carries the OS3.0.4.0.WOGMIXM firmware version that carries a hefty download size of 5.3GB. The major software upgrade brings the latest Android 16 OS experience, along with visible upgrades like smoother animations, refined touch response, and under the hood performance optimizations.

POCO F5, F5 Pro HyperOS 3 internal test build

As part of the update, Redmi Note 14 also gets new UI elements, including the “Hyper Island,” which is a dynamic live activity panel that showcases ongoing tasks like music, reminders, timers, and much more. It functions and appears similar to the Apple’s Dynamic Island function. Beyond interface polish, users should also see improved battery management, enhanced cross-device integration (for Xiaomi’s ecosystem), and security improvements.

A new Vivo device carrying the model number V2527A has surfaced on Geekbench, offering an early look at what appears to be the upcoming Vivo S50 Pro Mini. The phone is expected to debut in China this month, with rumors suggesting that it may arrive in global markets as the Vivo X300 FE. The benchmark entry outlines several key details, giving an early indication of what to expect from the device ahead of its official introduction.

Vivo has already confirmed that the S50 Pro Mini will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, and the Geekbench listing aligns with this claim through identical CPU clock speeds. The device is shown running Android 16 with 16GB of RAM, delivering a single-core score of 2778 and a multi-core score of 9344.

An interesting detail appears in the metadata, which shows the GPU identifier as Adreno 829. Qualcomm advertises the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 with the Adreno 840 GPU, a label also used on the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.

OnePlus Ace 6T is getting a Hole-Pattern Magnetic Case like OnePlus 15 and OnePlus 13s

OnePlus has confirmed a small but fun upgrade for accessory lovers: the quirky Hole-Pattern Magnetic Case — first introduced with the OnePlus 13s — is coming to the OnePlus Ace 6T.

If you missed the hype the first time, this case became surprisingly popular thanks to its playful design. The back has a grid of small circular cutouts where users can snap in little cube-style decorative plugs, letting you create your own patterns, shapes, or even small pixel art. It’s part protection, part fidget toy — and apparently a hit.

It’s not just for looks either. The built-in magnets let the phone attach to a growing set of magnetic accessories. OnePlus says the Ace 6T case will support its own Mag accessories and Oppo Mag products. It should also work with third-party magnetic gear commonly used with iPhones, including popular car mounts.

Based on the teaser OnePlus shared on Weibo, the case for the Ace 6T comes in the same light gray finish as the earlier versions. Hopefully, more colors are planned, since part of the appeal is expressing your style.

There is one caveat: the Ace 6T doesn’t have wireless charging. So magnetic battery packs and chargers won’t charge the phone even though they will attach.

Since the Ace 6T and OnePlus 15R are essentially the same phone with regional branding differences, it’s very likely this case will show up for 15R buyers too.

Pricing hasn’t been announced, but the version for the OnePlus 15 currently sells for around $25 (currently Rs. 699 in India) — so expect something in that ballpark.

It’s a small addition, sure — but for users who enjoy customizing their phones beyond just a wallpaper change, this case gives the Ace 6T a bit more personality.

OnePlus 11 Gets OxygenOS 16: New Animations, AI Tools and Performance Upgrades

OnePlus released its Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 operating system last month, and has been rapidly rolling it out for its devices. The nearly three year old OnePlus 11 is the latest smartphone to receive this major update. At launch, the brand promised 4 major update for the device, which means it is also eligible for the OxygenOS 17 update next year. The update is available as version CPH2447_16.0.1.300(EX01), and the company says more regions will receive it in batches.

OxygenOS 16 introduces major changes to animations, performance, AI features, visuals, and system controls. The new Parallel Processing upgrade brings smoother transitions across system apps. Icons, widgets, folders, and the Smart Sidebar now react with cleaner drag and drop behavior. The text selection magnifier fades in and out more naturally. The status bar shifts smoothly when pulling down the notification shade or Quick Settings, and the gesture can be stopped midway. Audio controls in Quick Settings have new animations, and app opening and closing in button navigation feels more consistent. Charging and fingerprint effects now use light wave patterns, and scrolling has been tuned for better precision.

Performance gets a boost with the updated Trinity Engine, which adjusts workloads in real time. Games should hold steadier frame output through smarter task prioritization. Pop up windows and video calls run more smoothly, while overall power use drops. Photo albums load faster with lower thumbnail power usage, and cached videos in supported apps preview more quickly. Power saving mode now changes performance based on battery percentage.

AI features expand across Photos, Notes, Recorder, Writer, and VoiceScribe. Photos offers clearer categories, easier album navigation, a swipe up info panel, stronger video editing tools, auto straightening, improved collages, and refined filters. Notes adds block editing, side by side image viewing, link sharing for full notes, new highlights, and more formatting. Recorder gets AI noise reduction, automatic meeting or lecture detection, a new layout, and link sharing for audio, transcripts, and summaries. Writer generates more content types and can create mind maps and tables. VoiceScribe improves call summaries with better context handling.

The interface gains new light field visuals, Aurora effects, live weather animations, redesigned Clock, Calculator, and Compass apps, and a new fingerprint animation. Flux Home brings updated icon styles, more folder layouts, text free icons, reorganized settings, category based Drawer mode, a new search bar position, improved suggestions, customizable widget names, adjustable clocks, Lock screen text options, and wallpaper-matched icon styles including Dark mode sets.

Connectivity upgrades include Touch to Share, improved OnePlus Connect with PC multi window support, cross device clipboard, grouped Device Connect settings, better car Bluetooth pairing, a new My Devices center with matching widgets, and enhanced AI LinkBoost. Users can also share phone Wi Fi with a tablet.

Other additions include an AI Doc Scanner, more Quick Settings customization with 2×1 tiles, cleaner notifications, earbuds only ringtone playback, an AI settings page, Bosnian language support, a refreshed Smart Sidebar, redesigned battery stats, faster iOS migration, improved virus scanning, better data transfer speed, and the November 2025 security patch. Apps can also be locked or hidden by holding their Home screen icons.

AnTuTu’s latest performance rankings for November 2025 just rolled in, and Red Magic appears to be dominating. The brand’s latest flagship leads the pack, followed closely behind by Oppo’s and Vivo’s new premium devices. The Red Magic 11 Pro+ is the chart leader in November, so let’s check it out.

AnTuTu November 2025 Rankings: Which phones dominate?

AnTuTu just dropped the updated benchmark list at the start of this month. Similar to last month’s rankings, the Red Magic 11 Pro+ still holds the throne in terms of overall performance. This next gen gaming phone is powered by Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. What helps the chip managed to achieve such a high scored is its unique cooling system that employs both water and air.

The system uses a cooling system with vapor chamber, copper foil, graphene, liquid metal, and even an physical fan. This is basically the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5’s direct successor in the premium Android smartphone segment.

The Red Magic 11 Pro+ got a score of 4,104,121 points on AnTuTu, while the Oppo Find X9 Pro and Vivo X300 Pro achieve a score of 4,006,704 and 4,004,589 points, respectively. So, both chips are neck-in-neck and it’s hard to tell which processor is objectively better. Rounding off the top 5 on this list, we have the iQOO 15 and Honor Magic 8 Pro that also feature Qualcomm’s flagship chipset.

Galaxy S26 Ultra’s leaked wallpapers hint at updated color options

Samsung hasn’t even acknowledged the Galaxy S26 series yet, but One UI 8.5 might have already spoiled one of its biggest design details: the colors. New wallpapers discovered inside the software are hinting at a bold palette for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, including a bright orange finish that could easily become the signature look of 2026.

The wallpapers were first spotted by a lesser-known source, but well-known leaker Ice Universe has chimed in to support the find — which makes this leak a lot harder to ignore. Each wallpaper is themed around a distinct color: orange, silver, white, pink, black, and turquoise. If those correspond directly to the launch lineup, buyers should have six finishes to choose from.

Of course, Samsung loves to keep a few shades exclusive. Following recent patterns, Black, White, Silver, and Pink would likely be the standard retail options. Meanwhile, the flashier orange and turquoise versions could end up as Samsung.com exclusives or regional specials — similar to what we saw with the S24 and S25 series.

The possible orange variant is particularly interesting. It lines up with earlier whispers that Samsung was experimenting with a more vibrant, standout color for the S26 Ultra this time. Considering how the Ultra lineup usually sticks to muted tones, this would be a noticeable change in the appearance.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 exclusively, while the standard and Plus models will reportedly ship with Samsung’s own 2nm-based Exynos 2600 in most markets. The Exynos chip has already shown some eye-popping benchmark figures, but there’s still skepticism about how those results were obtained — so anyone planning to buy an Exynos variant may want to keep expectations in check. Camera upgrades across the S26 lineup also appear to be modest based on current leaks.

However, Samsung may finally introduce proper Qi2 magnetic charging support on all three models, along with slightly larger batteries for the base and Plus.

Even though release day is still a while away, these kinds of early peeks tend to stick. If the wallpapers truly reflect Samsung’s plans, the S26 Ultra could launch with one of the boldest color selections the Ultra series has seen.

Honor GT 2, GT 2 Pro 3C certification reveals 100W charging ahead of December launch

Honor has been consistently launching flagship-grade phones in China. In October, the brand announced the Honor Magic 8 and Magic 8 Pro powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. November saw the arrival of the Honor 500 and 500 Pro featuring Snapdragon 8-series platforms.

This month, the company is expected to introduce the performance-focused Honor GT 2 series. Ahead of the anticipated unveiling, two new Honor phones believed to belong to the GT 2 lineup have received approval from China’s 3C certification authority, hinting at what to expect from the upcoming devices.

Honor GT 2 series 3C certified

The newly listed models carry the model numbers AAK-AN00 and AAP-AN00. According to the certification documents, both variants support 100W wired fast charging, indicating that Honor aims to deliver a significant upgrade in recharge speeds over recent GT-branded devices.

The listings align with earlier reports suggesting that the GT 2 models could feature batteries of around 9,000mAh capacity with 100W charging support. Leaks also indicate that the Honor GT 2 series will target high performance with the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform on the standard model and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 on the GT 2 Pro.

The lineup is expected to feature a flat 6.83-inch 1.5K display, a metal frame, a 50-megapixel main camera with a large sensor, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and an IP68 or IP69 rating.
