Vivo V60e vs Samsung Galaxy S24 FE: Which Midrange Phone Should You Buy ?

Vivo V60e vs Samsung Galaxy S24 FE comparison is one of the most notable midrange rivalries of 2025. Both phones are priced similarly, but built with completely different goals. Vivo focuses on strong performance, battery life, and fast charging, while Samsung aims for premium design, reliable software, and lasting value. This comparison matters because it shows the clear difference between innovation and long-term dependability in the current market.

1. Design and Display

Build and Feel:
Vivo V60e focuses on toughness with its IP69 rating and Diamond Shield Glass, offering excellent resistance to dust and water. It’s lighter and more practical for daily use. The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, however, feels more premium with Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both sides and a solid frame. Samsung’s build looks and feels flagship-level, while Vivo prioritizes durability and rugged utility. For those who value style, Samsung impresses more; for outdoor reliability, Vivo takes the lead.

Display Quality:
Vivo’s AMOLED panel with HDR10+ and 5000 nits peak brightness is stunning for vibrant content and outdoor use. Samsung’s Super AMOLED display offers balanced tones, 1900 nits peak brightness, and color accuracy perfect for professionals. Vivo is better for streaming lovers who enjoy punchy colors, while Samsung delivers a more true-to-life visual experience. Both are excellent, but the choice depends on whether you prefer bold or natural colors.

Verdict:
Vivo wins for its brighter, bolder screen and stronger protection. Samsung scores higher for premium feel and refined color tuning.

2. Specifications

Performance:
Samsung’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset delivers smooth multitasking and gaming with efficient thermals. The Vivo V60e’s Dimensity 7360 Turbo performs well for daily use but can’t match Samsung’s stability. Samsung also promises six years of updates, double Vivo’s support, making it more future-proof. Vivo’s performance feels fast but less optimized. Samsung offers longer-term reliability for serious users.

Battery and Charging:
Vivo dominates here with a 6500mAh battery and 90W charging, ensuring full-day use and ultra-fast recharging. Samsung’s 5000mAh with 45W charging is solid but slower. Vivo’s bypass charging helps during gaming, reducing heat buildup. Samsung prioritizes efficiency over speed. Vivo suits power users, while Samsung fits those who prefer balanced performance.

Verdict:
Samsung is more efficient, but Vivo’s battery and charging speeds are unmatched in this price range.

3. Camera

Main and Secondary Lenses:
Vivo’s 200MP main sensor captures immense detail and performs well in low light. Samsung’s 50MP triple camera delivers more accurate colors and steadier results. Vivo’s shots look punchier; Samsung’s are more natural. Vivo wins for creativity and resolution, while Samsung excels in consistency and processing quality.

Selfie Camera:
Vivo V60e’s 50MP selfie lens captures crisp, dynamic images with autofocus support. Samsung’s 12MP front camera offers balanced exposure and realistic tones but lacks fine detail. Vivo is ideal for social media and content creators; Samsung suits users who prefer natural selfies.

Verdict:
Vivo leads in clarity and detail, while Samsung’s cameras feel more balanced and realistic for everyday use.

4. Pricing

Both phones are priced around $350. Samsung justifies the cost with premium design, long-term updates, and polished software. Vivo gives more raw value with a massive battery, a higher-resolution camera, and faster charging. Vivo delivers more power per dollar; Samsung focuses on refinement and support.

Verdict
Vivo offers better hardware value. Samsung wins for longevity and ecosystem strength.

5. Conclusion

Vivo V60e pushes limits with a 200MP camera, 90W charging, and IP69 durability, perfect for users who want maximum performance and endurance. The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE emphasizes reliability, premium design, and extended software support. Vivo stands out for specs and battery life; Samsung excels in polish and long-term usability.

Verdict:
Vivo is the better pick for performance enthusiasts, while Samsung is ideal for those seeking stability and lasting value.

This tiny Xiaomi gadget detects water leaks before you notice them

Xiaomi has officially launched the Water Guard 2, its latest smart leak detection device, in China. The product is now available on major online platforms for 69 yuan ($10) and is designed to detect water leakage in various household scenarios.

Xiaomi Water Guard 2

Xiaomi Water Guard 2 Specifications

The Water Guard 2 features a compact circular design with a diameter of 55mm and a thickness of 19.5mm. Xiaomi uses a dual-color injection molding process for the outer shell and button, resulting in a seamless look. The device is IP67 rated for dust and water resistance, allowing it to operate reliably in damp and dusty environments.

Xiaomi equips the device with two types of water detection systems. The bottom dual-probe sensor can detect as little as 0.5mm of standing water, while the top sensor can detect dripping or splashing. This dual-sensor approach ensures effective leak detection in both floor-level and elevated areas, such as under sinks or near washing machines.

Xiaomi Water Guard 2

The device features three types of alerts for leak detection. It includes a built-in buzzer and LED indicator that provide local sound and light notifications, which work even when the device is offline. Through the Mi Home app, users can receive remote alerts, monitor real-time water status, adjust alert frequency, and check battery levels.

When paired with a Xiaomi Bluetooth Mesh gateway, it can also interact with other smart devices within the Xiaomi HyperOS ecosystem. For instance, it can automatically turn off a connected smart socket when a leak is detected to reduce electrical risks.

Xiaomi Water Guard 2

The Water Guard 2 runs on Bluetooth 5.2 and requires a CR2450 coin cell battery. Xiaomi claims up to three years of battery life thanks to its ultra-low power design. The device uses nickel-plated corrosion-resistant probes and anti-UV materials to reduce the risk of rust or yellowing over time.

In related news, Xiaomi recently introduced a premium-looking sterilizer that promises thorough cleaning and is priced under $150. The company also launched a smart foot spa capable of heating, massaging, sterilizing, and folding itself for convenient storage.

iQOO 15 May Raise the Bar with 5 Years of OS Updates & 7 Years of Security Patches

iQOO appears ready to take a major leap in software longevity with its upcoming iQOO 15 flagship. A new report hints that the device could offer the longest software support from any iQOO smartphone yet. This includes both OS updates and security patches. So here’s what we know.

iQOO 15 Could Be the Brand’s First Phone to Get 5 Years of OS Updates

The latest info arrives from a SmartPrix report. It seems like the brand’s latest flagship will bring the longest software support by being the first iQOO model that gets 5 years of OS updates and 7 years of security patches. Recently, iQOO made an announcement that confirmed that it is expanding the software support for the iQOO 12. This phone originally launched with 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates.

iQOO 15

Meanwhile, last year’s iQOO 13 came with 4 years of annual OS updates along with 6 years of security support. So among the various upgrades, iQOO could also bring longer software support. Just a couple of days ago, the company announced the Indian launch date of the iQOO 15, which is set for November 26.

iQOO focusing on long term software support is great for iQOO fans, as the company is competing with other Chinese brands that typically offer 4 years of OS and 6 years of security updates. In related news, iQOO recently announced that the iQOO Neo 7 and Neo 7 Pro will be getting the OriginOS 6 update as well. You can also click here to get the OriginOS 6 update roadmap for the Indian market.

Galaxy S26, S26 Plus could bring 12MP telephoto and little else new

A leak earlier this month outlined the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s camera hardware. Now, a new report is offering a closer look at what to expect from the standard Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus.

According to SmartPrix, Samsung might not make major changes to the non-Ultra models this time around. Earlier rumors suggested the S26 pair could adopt a new 50MP ultrawide sensor, but that no longer seems to be the case.

Galaxy S25 FE

Instead, both phones are reportedly sticking with the familiar 12MP Sony IMX564 ultrawide camera that’s been used for several generations. The details come from new firmware builds of both devices, uncovered by SmartPrix.

The upgrades

The primary camera remains at 50MP, though Samsung is expected to swap in a newer ISOCELL S5KGNG sensor. It’s technically fresh hardware, but it’s said to be the same size as last year’s sensor, so the practical impact might be limited.

There is at least one meaningful upgrade. The 3x telephoto camera is reportedly getting a small bump from 10MP to 12MP via Samsung’s ISOCELL S5K3LD sensor. That lines up with earlier leaks about similar changes coming to the S26 Ultra, suggesting the entire lineup will get the same telephoto treatment.

Outside the cameras, the leaked firmware also lists battery capacities of 4300mAh for the S26 and 4900mAh for the S26 Plus, which is exactly the same as the S25 series.

On a positive note, Samsung is expected to bring its Advanced Professional Video (APV) codec to vanilla models as well. The feature is currently reserved for the Ultra variant and enables 4K 60FPS recording on both front and rear cameras.

The Galaxy S26 series is expected to launch in February next year. And the series could be joined by a slim model (slimmer than the S25 Edge) in late 2026.

OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z3 Launches in India in New Crimson Eclipse Finish

OnePlus has just released a bright new color option for one of its existing hearables. The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z3 first debuted in India back in June, and now, it is arriving in a fresh Crimson Eclipse finish. So here are all the details.

OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z3 Arrives in India Dressed in Crimson Eclipse

To recall, the Chinese smartphone brand’s latest wireless neckband earphones initially launched in just two color options. This included a Samba Sunset (Red) and a Mambo Midnight (Black). Meanwhile, the new color variant basically seems like a mix of both. The Crimson Eclipse version of the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z3 appears to have black earpieces, while the wire connecting the neckband is red.

Apart from the new finish, these offer the same features as the existing variants. So you still get 12.4mm audio drivers that promise to offer punchy bass. There is also support for 3D spatial audio, AI powered ENC for improved call quality, and Bluetooth 5.4 for connectivity. A 220mAh battery pack powers the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z3, which offers up to 36 hours of audio playback. The brand claims that just 10 minutes of charging can offer around 27 hours of battery life.

Other notable features include a skin friendly silicon body, an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance, Google Fast Pair support, and magnetic tips that turn the neckband earphones on and off. OnePlus just released the Crimson Eclipse version of the Bullets Wireless Z3 in the Indian market for 1,399 INR (roughly around 16 US Dollars). This is limited time offer with the neckband earphones being available for purchase on the brand’s official website, Amazon India, and Flipkart.

Nubia’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite gaming phone to rival Redmi K90, iQOO Neo 11, Realme GT 8, and OnePlus Ace 6

Nubia recently unveiled the Nubia Z80 Ultra and the Red Magic 11 Pro series powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It appears that the brand is now gearing up to launch one more flagship phone before the end of this year. The said device, which bears the model number P0110, has appeared in the database of Geekbench and Chinese certification platforms such as 3C and CMIT.

Nubia P0110 Geekbench, 3C listings emerge

Nubia P0110 Geekbench listing

As seen above, the Geekbench listing reveals that the Nubia P0110 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Although the chip’s name isn’t mentioned explicitly, the CPU and GPU details available on the listing are enough to confirm that the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

The device, whose final moniker is still under wraps, has 16GB of RAM and runs on Android 16. In the single-core and multi-core tests, the device scored 2,673 and 7,596 points, respectively.

Nubia P0110 3C listing

The 3C certification of the device revealed that it may ship with a 94.5W charger. It has also passed China’s MIIT certification, but the listing has not revealed anything significant. According to a tech blogger, the Nubia P0110 is a gaming phone but not part of the Red Magic series. It is designed to rival the recently released Snapdragon 8 Elite phones such as the Redmi K90, iQOO Neo 11, OnePlus Ace 6, and Realme GT 8.

Back in October, Zhang Lei, Vice President of ZTE and General Manager of Nubia’s flagship products, claimed that the OnePlus 15’s anti-glare glass finish and scratch-resistant coating would particularly appeal to users who prefer using their phones without cases. In the same post, he mentioned that the company’s upcoming product, scheduled for launch in December and referred to as a “national gaming phone,” will also feature the same rear panel technology. The device will come with a scratch-resistant surface that can be easily cleaned with a single wipe, along with a design specifically optimised for gaming.

However, Zhang emphasized that the rear panel design is just the tip of the iceberg. The real focus lies in refining the gaming experience through software and hardware optimization. He hinted that this new device will offer a premium feel and powerful gaming performance at a more affordable cost.

Galaxy S26 leak reveals built-in magnets like the S25 Ultra and a slightly larger display

Update: According to a more recent report from Android Headlines, the Galaxy S26’s dimensions are 149.5 × 71.6 × 7.24 mm. For context, the Galaxy S25 measures 146.9 × 70.5 × 7.2 mm. This confirms the previously speculated display size increase, but it also dashes any hopes of a slimmer chassis.

Original story: A fresh leak has spilled some key details about the Galaxy S26, and the headline is hard to miss: the phone is thinner, lighter, and finally comes with built-in magnets for proper Qi2 wireless charging. No more magnetic cases or “Qi2 Ready” marketing tricks.

The info comes from @UniverseIce, who shared what appears to be a factory schematic of the base S26. According to the leak, the phone measures just 6.9 mm thick — about 0.3 mm slimmer than the S25. That would make the Galaxy S26 one of the slimmest yet still practical flagships when it launches in early 2026.

The camera setup moves to a vertical pill-shaped module, similar to the design Samsung used on the Z Fold 7. But the real upgrade sits underneath the glass: a magnetic ring around the wireless charging coil. It’s native Qi2 hardware, not a software label — meaning chargers, wallets, stands, and car mounts will snap on just like MagSafe. And yes, this isn’t just for better coil alignment; it also serves as a much easier mounting mechanism on compatible accessories.

Specs mentioned in recent leaks look fairly standard for a 2026 flagship: a 6.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display rated at up to 3,000 nits. If accurate, that’s a noticeable jump from the S25’s 6.2-inch panel that peaks at 2,600 nits. Although the increasing size of Samsung’s “compact” model might disappoint some users, the brightness boost is significant.

Based on current trends and early reports, the S26 and S26+ are expected to ship with Samsung’s 2nm Exynos 2600 in most regions, while Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 will likely power units sold in the US and China.

Charging is where things get interesting, and maybe a little disappointing. The Galaxy S25 tops out at 25W wired and 15W wireless, and Samsung capped the S25 Ultra — magnets included — at the same 15W limit last year. So far, no leaks suggest higher wireless charging speeds for the S26 lineup. It remains to be seen whether the new magnets simply improve mounting and stability or if they’ll finally enable faster wireless charging. We should know more as development continues.

Honor X80 in works with 10,000mAh+ battery, Snapdragon 7-series chip

There have been reports that Honor is working on not one, but two phones powered by a massive 10,000mAh battery. The first one is the Dimensity 8500-powered Honor Power 2, which is expected in Q1 2026. Today, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station published a Weibo post to reveal the details about the other 10,000mAh battery phone.

Honor X80 key specifications tipped

Honor X80 leak by DCS

According to the tipster, Honor’s other phone with a 10,000mAh battery will feature the Snapdragon 7-series chip and a massive 6.8-inch 1.5K OLED screen. Speaking further about the display, the tipster mentioned that it will feature a flat design with rounded corners.

In related news, a Chinese tech blogger has revealed that a new battery designed for the alleged Honor X80 has received approval from the country’s 3C certification platform. It has a rated capacity of 9,755mAh and appears that its typical value will exceed the 10,000mAh+ mark.

Therefore, it appears that DCS could be talking about the Honor X80, which is expected to replace the Honor X70 that debuted in July 2025. To recall, the X70 packed an 8,300mAh battery with 80W wired and 80W wireless charging. Although there is no information available about the charging capabilities of the X80, DCS claims neither the Power 2 nor the X80 will support wireless charging. Likely, the X80 may debut by July 2026 in China.

Meanwhile, the brand is working on a couple of new phones for China. This month, the brand is expected to unveil the Honor 500 and 500 Pro powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4. On the other hand, the Honor GT 2 and GT 2 Pro are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite and 8 Elite Gen 5 chipsets, respectively.

Poco F8 Pro appears together with Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G in TRDA

The Poco F8 Pro is inching closer to launch, and the latest development comes from the TDRA certification database, confirming its upcoming debut in the UAE.

The listing follows earlier reports that the phone might ship without a charger in the box and feature Sound by Bose audio tuning.

According to the TDRA listing, the Poco F8 Pro carries the model number 2510DPC44G and is registered under the equipment registration number ER53041/25.

As usual, the listing doesn’t reveal any specifications. The device, however, is said to be a rebranded version of the Redmi K90, which launched in China in October 2025.

If that turns out to be true, we can expect the Poco F8 Pro to come with a flagship-grade AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and a Bose-tuned audio system.

Alongside the UAE listing, the device has also been spotted on IMDA (Singapore) and NBTC (Thailand) certification platforms, hinting at a wider global rollout soon.

Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G also makes its way to TRDA

Alongside the Poco, another Redmi device has also appeared in the TDRA database, believed to be the Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G. This variant carries the model 25100RA69G and registration number ER53042/25.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G’s certification confirms its UAE release, following earlier sightings on EEC and IMDA. While its 5G counterpart has already gone official in China, the 4G version is likely an international-exclusive model.

With both the Poco F8 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G now certified, their official launches appear imminent. The certifications don’t offer much in terms of specs, but they do confirm Xiaomi’s sub-brands are gearing up for another round of global releases before the end of the year.

The best sounding tablets of 2025

Good speakers aren’t the first thing most people think about when buying a tablet. But if you watch movies without headphones, play games, or rely on your tablet as a small TV, audio is one of those features that you have to get right.

To be honest, most tablets come with a decent set of speakers. You can expect clear audio with okay loudness, but what you really want is the richness and oomph you expect when watching your favorite movies and shows.

Fortunately, there are a few good options that get it right. So here are some of the best audio-focused tablets you can buy right now.

1. Apple iPad Pro (M5)

Apple's New M5 iPad Pro
Apple’s New M5 Powered iPad Pro

The iPad Pro has set the benchmark for tablet speakers for years, and the M5 version keeps that trend going. The tablet has four speakers (two up top, two on the bottom), and Apple still does a good job balancing power and precision.

What stands out most is how clear everything is. Dialogue sits where it should, effects feel placed rather than thrown at you, and it’s easy to hear individual instruments in a busy track.

The tuning avoids harshness at high volume, and it gets loud enough to fill a normal room without sounding strained.

The latest model will obviously cost you more as it’s the best Apple has to offer. So if you want something slightly more affordable, the iPad Pro M4 is the one to go for.

It’s tough to tell which one sounds better unless you’re an absolute audiophile. And more importantly, you can get the M4 at discounts and offers, which is what matters for most people.

2. Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra

Samsung follows a similar strategy to Apple. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra also uses a quad-speaker setup, but this time, the speakers are tuned by AKG and come with Dolby Atmos support.

As a result, you can expect clean vocals and a good sense of separation, especially if you tweak things through Samsung’s audio presets and EQ.

Pair the audio with a massive 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen, and the Tab S11 Ultra feels like a straightforward alternative to the iPad Pro for people living inside the Samsung ecosystem. It’s just a solid multimedia machine that also happens to handle multitasking well.

There’s nothing flashy about how the speakers are presented, but they’re consistently good, and that’s often enough.

3. Lenovo Tab Plus

This is where things start to look different.

The Lenovo Tab Plus makes a trade-off most tablet makers avoid—it gives up slimness for better sound.

Lenovo Tab Plus has a unique, thick bump on the back which houses an enormous (by tablet standards) eight-speaker JBL-tuned system. And its specs alone sound ambitious.

It has four matrix tweeters and four force-balanced woofers delivering 26W of stereo power from a large 22cc speaker box. As one can expect, the setup delivers a whole different kind of audio experience.

The sheer number of drivers and the large acoustic volume mean it can push out sound with significant volume and minimal distortion, even when pushed close to the limit.

The compromise is the design. That speaker hump is noticeable, but Lenovo has thoughtfully placed a kickstand in it. As a result, you can place it on a surface level and enjoy your shows and movies without the worry of holding its heft.

4. Xiaomi Pad 7

Xiaomi Pad 7

The Pad 7 from Xiaomi is another entry on our list of best-sounding tablets. It is equipped with four speakers, Dolby Atmos support, and Hi-Res Audio certification. For most people, that means solid clarity, decent stereo width, and enough volume for daily use.

There’s also a “200% volume mode” that boosts loudness well beyond the default limit. You might rarely need to use it, but it’s there if you need it.

As a side note, the China-only Pad 7 Ultra steps things up with four woofers and four tweeters, but since you probably can’t buy it easily outside China, the regular Pad 7 is the more practical option to talk about.

5. OnePlus Pad 3

OnePlus Pad 3 India
OnePlus Pad 3

The OnePlus Pad 3 is a great device for multimedia consumers. It has a big 13.2-inch display at 3.4K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and brightness goes high enough for outdoor viewing.

But the speakers are what keep it in this conversation. Like some of the others here, OnePlus uses eight drivers—four tweeters and four woofers—to create a clean, well-balanced stereo image. It doesn’t try to overdo bass, but the mix has enough weight to make movies more interesting.

It also has a big 12,140 mAh battery and 80W fast charging support, so you can binge-watch without worrying about running out of power.

6. Honorable mention

Google Pixel Tablet with Speaker Dock

The Pixel Tablet is an interesting case of turning a tablet into a multimedia machine. The tablet itself has quad speakers, but what makes it unique is the optional speaker-dock accessory.

The dock features a 43.5mm full-range speaker that delivers noticeably better, room-filling sound with crisp treble and richer bass.

When docked and locked, the tablet automatically switches into “Hub Mode,” which makes it more than just a tablet. You can display Google Photos albums as a screensaver when it’s not in active use.

It also provides full access to Assistant for playing music or videos, controlling smart home devices, and getting information through voice commands.

The Pixel Tablet is also the first tablet to act as a Chromecast receiver, so you can cast music and videos from your phone or other devices directly to the docked tablet’s screen and speaker.

However, its main downside is longevity. The Pixel Tablet was launched in 2023, and the company hasn’t released a successor yet. It’s only guaranteed to receive Android version updates until at least June 2026 and security updates until at least June 2028. So you have to keep that in mind.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra leak reveals next-gen LOFIC tech, exclusive lens system, and more

Xiaomi is reportedly preparing to launch the Xiaomi 17 Ultra in China, with recent certifications suggesting it could debut by the end of this year. Ahead of its expected launch, tipster Digital Chat Station has been consistently sharing information about the device, particularly highlighting its imaging strengths. The latest leak from the source once again focuses on the phone’s exceptional camera capabilities and upgraded optical setup.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra: New LOFIC tech and upgraded periscope telephoto lens

Xiaomi 17 Ultra

According to the latest report by Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will feature a large main camera sensor with an f/1.6 aperture, paired with next-generation LOFIC technology for improved light handling and reduced glare. The sensor is expected to have an effective aperture of around f/4.5, enhancing low-light performance and overall clarity.

The highlight, however, will be a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, capable of superior medium- and long-range zoom with an effective aperture near f/8.6. This periscope lens will reportedly employ Xiaomi’s exclusive full-lens optical system, offering advanced focusing versatility.

The smartphone is also expected to sport a large flat display and a distinct circular camera deco, with a layout that refines the design of its predecessor while maintaining a premium look.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra specifications (rumored)

As per previous reports, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to feature a 50-megapixel main camera with in-sensor zoom technology and lossless focal range transitions, accompanied by a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 telephoto sensor, and a 200-megapixel Samsung HPE periscope telephoto lens with 4×4 RMSC technology. The stable OxygenOS 16 update is rolling out globally for the OnePlus Open foldable, starting with the IN region today. The build number is CPH2551_16.0.0.201(EX01). This update focuses on two main areas: making the phone feel faster and stuffing it with smart AI features.

The update comes with the new Parallel Processing system, which delivers smoother interactions. Animations for system apps now start and end logically, and dragging and dropping items like icons or widgets on the Home screen is much more fluid. The text selection magnifier and new UI controls also feature smoother animations. Meanwhile, the Trinity Engine optimizes how the phone uses power, ensuring stable performance for demanding tasks like gaming and camera use. Apps now launch faster, photo albums load quicker, and a tiered Power Saving Mode adapts performance based on the battery level.

AI is everywhere in this update. Mind Space now lets you use the Plus Key to record voice notes and features a Mind Assistant to search content. AI-powered Photos offers new video editing tools including splitting, merging, adjusting speed, and adding music, plus the ability to create motion photo collages without losing HDR quality. AI Recorder can now automatically detect if you are in a meeting or lecture and apply the right template, and it uses noise cancellation to boost voices. The system gains a full AI Writer to help generate text across system apps, alongside smarter AI VoiceScribe and Call Summary features that offer alternative summary templates and easy sharing options.

Visually, the update introduces the Luminous Rendering Engine, bringing real-time light field effects and immersive weather visuals. The Flux Home screen has new icon styles, a cleaner grid, and lets you resize icons and rearrange pages. You can now use a maximum of five apps in the dock. Connectivity improves with OnePlus Connect, enabling seamless PC mirroring, cross-device file searching, and clipboard sharing. For privacy, you can now touch and hold any app icon on the Home screen to quickly lock or hide it. The system also includes a dedicated settings page for all AI features and adds Bosnian as a supported system language.
