OnePlus is gearing up to enhance the Android gaming experience with a newly unveiled Gaming Technology suite. The information comes from the company itself, which announced that its upcoming OnePlus 15 series will introduce an entirely new gaming framework combining chip-level optimizations, hardware improvements, and intelligent software systems. This development aims to deliver a smoother and more stable experience for mobile gamers when the OnePlus 15 launches in India on Nov. 13.

At the heart of this initiative lies the OP Gaming Core, a self-developed performance framework created with over 20,000 lines of proprietary code and supported by more than 250 patents. This system operates at the foundational level of Android, redistributing computing power to reduce CPU load by over 20 percent and maintaining consistent frame delivery during demanding gameplay. The technology integrates the OnePlus CPU Scheduler, which replaces the standard Completely Fair Scheduler, thereby cutting CPU instructions for key gaming tasks by up to 22.74 percent.

Additionally, the Next-Gen HyperRendering engine reworks the GPU rendering pipeline for an 80 percent gain in per-frame efficiency. By embedding rendering and frame interpolation within the main chipset, OnePlus aims to achieve smoother 120fps gameplay with improved visual fidelity, reduced power draw, and minimal heating.

Complementing the software architecture is the OnePlus Performance Tri-Chip system. It comprises three hardware components: a performance chip based on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 platform, a dedicated touch-response chip supporting up to 3200Hz instantaneous sampling, and a Wi-Fi G2 chip designed to stabilise connectivity in weak signal areas using SmartLink technology.

OnePlus is also introducing OP FPS Max, a high-frame-rate gaming ecosystem built around a 165Hz display and native 165fps support. This system merges chip-level and display-side tuning to deliver smoother gameplay across popular titles, setting a new standard for mobile gaming performance on the OnePlus 15 series.

A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, has revealed that the upcoming Lenovo Legion Y700 2026 will feature the said chipset. Additionally, he has also revealed other specifications of the device.

As per the leak, the Lenovo Legion Y700 2026 will feature a compact 8.8-inch LCD panel that supports a 3K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and a vapour chamber cooling unit with a large heat dissipation area.

The Legion Y700 2026 will house a 9,000mAh battery, but there is no information yet about its fast charging capabilities. As for its launch, it is expected to debut in the first half of 2026.

This device will succeed the Legion Y700 (Gen 4), which debuted in May this year in China. The device has an 8.8-inch LCD screen with a 3K resolution (1904 x 3040 pixels) and a 165Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

G-Shock MRG-B2000KT-3A Launches with Titanium Build, Hand-Engraved Phoenix Design, and Emerald Details

Casio has launched the G-Shock MRG-B2000KT-3A in Japan, a new limited-edition model inspired by traditional Japanese sword craftsmanship. Only 800 units will be sold worldwide, each engraved by master metalworker Masao Kobayashi.

The design takes cues from the tsuba, the guard between a sword’s blade and handle, known for both protection and decoration. The bezel features a phoenix engraving created using the Shishi-Aibori hammering technique. The phoenix, a long-standing symbol of peace and prosperity, is hand-carved with a hammer and chisel, making each piece unique. The bezel is made of titanium with a green DLC coating that mimics the “kuroganeiro” or black iron color seen in forged steel. Four emeralds, representing wisdom and spiritual strength, are set into the bezel screws for a touch of contrast and depth.

The case carries a unique pattern inspired by “nie,” the crystallized edge pattern seen on tempered swords. It is made by recrystallizing pure titanium and finished with brown AIP coating for hardness and a copper tone. A metal plate marked “2025 LIMITED” is set on the side at 9 o’clock. The dial ring has a gradient finish that fades from red to orange, while the arrow feather design on the dial references the hamaya charm used to ward off evil. These details are created using precision machining at Yamagata Casio.

The dark green Durasoft fluorine rubber strap is durable, soft to the touch, and resistant to discoloration and wear. It features a Bishamon tortoiseshell pattern, a Japanese symbol of strength. The titanium clasp is deep-hardened and treated with the same brown AIP finish for added durability.

The MRG-B2000KT-3A offers 20-bar water resistance, Bluetooth connectivity for automatic time correction, solar power charging, and multi-band radio control compatible with Japan, North America, Europe, and China. Other functions include a Super Illuminator LED light, world time for 300 cities, stopwatch, timer, alarm, and a power-saving feature.

The watch measures 54.7 x 49.8 x 16.9 mm, weighs 138 g, and uses a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The case and bezel are made from titanium, and the crown uses a screw-lock structure. It keeps an average monthly accuracy of ±15 seconds when not connected to radio or Bluetooth signals.

Pricing & availability

Casio’s G-Shock MRG-B2000KT-3A will go on sale in Japan in November 2025 for ¥935,000 (about $6,073). Only 800 serial-numbered pieces will be produced worldwide, and Casio is expected to release the model in other regions in the coming weeks. Each watch will come with its serial number and a special edition package.

OnePlus phone with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 to rival Redmi Turbo 5

OnePlus is expected to unveil the OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo as a performance-focused flagship phone later this month. A new development reveals that the company is planning to launch another performance-driven phone that will arrive as a major rival to the Redmi Turbo 5. While the moniker of the device has not been revealed, a new leak has confirmed its existence.

According to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, OnePlus has two Snapdragon 8-series-powered smartphones in the pipeline for the Chinese market. The first one is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, which appears to be the rumoured Ace 6 Turbo.

He reiterated some of its previously known specifications, such as a flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It will have an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, a massive battery of around 8,000mAh capacity, and a metal middle frame. He added that the Ace 6 Turbo will also have a co-branded or special edition model in partnership with “YS” (likely referring to a known design or lifestyle brand).

DCS revealed that OnePlus is also working on a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4-powered smartphone, which will focus on high performance with a large battery and a flat display. This model will target competitors launching phones with the upcoming Dimensity 8500 chipset.

Alleged OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo Pro in the works

As per reports, the upcoming rumored Dimensity 8500-powered smartphones include the Redmi Turbo 5, Honor Power 2, and Realme Neo 8. Therefore, the OnePlus Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 phone will directly compete with all these phones. Among these, the Redmi Turbo 5 is expected to debut as the first phone powered by the Dimensity 8500 chip.

Unfortunately, the moniker of the OnePlus phone is not known, though it is likely to be a Turbo offering. It could instead end up as the Ace 6 Turbo Pro packed with a 9,000mAh battery.

Morefine has introduced the H1 mini PC, a compact system built around AMD’s new Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 395 processor. The device features a clean, minimalist chassis measuring 248.5 x 188.4 x 97.5mm and weighing around 3kg. It is priced at 14,798 yuan in China and $2,199 in the US.

The H1 is powered by a 16-core, 32-thread Ryzen AI Max+ Pro 395 chip based on the Zen 5 architecture, with a maximum boost clock of 5.1GHz. The processor delivers a total compute power of up to 126 TOPS. Morefine claims the chip can run large language models with up to 70 billion parameters and supports models as large as Qwen3 MOE 235B, achieving up to 15 tokens per second in inference speed.

The integrated Radeon 8060S graphics is based on the RDNA 3.5 architecture and features 40 compute units, a 256-bit bus width, 32MB Infinity Cache, and bandwidth up to 256GB/s. According to Morefine, the GPU offers performance comparable to a discrete Nvidia RTX 4070.

The mini PC comes with 128GB of LPDDR5X RAM clocked at 8000MHz. It can allocate up to 96GB of system memory as VRAM during high-load tasks. Storage is handled by two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots, with the included configuration offering a 2TB SSD and support for up to 8TB total capacity.

Display output includes one HDMI 2.1 port, one DP 1.4 port, and two USB4 ports, all capable of 4K at 160Hz. The H1 supports four independent 4K displays. It also includes dual USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, dual USB-A 2.0, 2.5G Ethernet, SD 4.0 card slot, and two 3.5mm audio jacks. Wireless connectivity is handled by Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

Sapphire has officially entered the mini PC market with the launch of its Edge AI series. The new lineup features AMD’s latest Ryzen AI 300 series processors and aims to deliver compact computing power for AI workloads, content creation, and productivity.

The Edge AI series includes three models: Edge AI 370, Edge AI 350, and Edge AI 340, each configured with different Ryzen AI chipsets and integrated Radeon graphics.

The mini PCs feature a magnetic top cover that allows tool-free access to internal components. Sapphire uses this design to simplify upgrades and maintenance. The case measures 117 x 111 x 30 mm and includes a black-and-gold color scheme. Ventilation slots are placed at the bottom and sides to help maintain thermal stability during operation.

In terms of connectivity, the front I/O includes two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, an audio jack, and a power button with LED. The rear panel houses two HDMI 2.1 ports, two USB 4.0 Type-C ports with Power Delivery 3.0 support, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, one USB 2.0 Type-A port, a 2.5G RJ45 LAN port, and a DC power input.

Alleged Vivo S50 Pro Mini, S50 bag radio certification before launch

Vivo is reportedly working on the Vivo S50 series of smartphones for the Chinese market. Expected to launch this month, the lineup is said to include at least two models, such as the Vivo S50 and S50 Pro Mini. In a new development, new Vivo phones, which are believed to be part of the S50 lineup, have received approval from the State Radio Regulation of China (SRRC).

The above screenshots show that two new Vivo phones with model numbers V2527A and V2528A have appeared in SRRC’s database. According to a Chinese tech blogger, these could be associated with the S50 series. Unfortunately, the listings do not reveal any significant information about their specifications.

The Vivo S50 is expected to feature a 6.59-inch flat OLED screen that offers a 1.5K resolution. It is also said to be equipped with a metal middle frame and a triple camera setup, including a periscope telephoto camera. The S50 Pro Mini is said to be a compact phone offering a 6.31-inch flat OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution. Under the hood, it will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip and a battery that’s bigger than the Vivo X300’s 6,040mAh unit.

For photography, it will have a triple camera unit equipped with a periscope telephoto camera. Both phones are expected to run on OriginOS 6-based Android 15.

The Vivo S50 series will compete with the Oppo Reno 15 lineup and the Honor 500 series, which are expected to debut in the second half of this month. Likely, the S50 lineup will debut by the end of this month.

The update is rolling out in phases. To check eligibility or join the Release Candidate Program if it is open for your device:

The device features a large 6.74-inch 90Hz display, a Dimensity 6300 processor, and a 6,000mAh battery, offering solid everyday performance for budget users. The Vivo Y19s 5G measures 167.3 x 76.95 x 8.19mm and weighs 199 grams. It comes with a 6.74-inch LCD screen offering an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling. The panel supports up to 700nits brightness and covers 70% of the NTSC colour gamut.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset built on a 6nm process, paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. Users can expand storage via a microSD card up to 2TB. The device is backed by a 6,000mAh battery supporting 15W fast charging, designed to last comfortably through a full day of usage.

Huawei’s most affordable flip foldable is powered by this Kirin chip

Recently, Huawei’s latest small foldable phone, the Nova Flip S, went on sale in China. During the launch, the company did not reveal the name of the chip that powers the device. As per a report by MyDrivers, the phone was spotted through performance detection software, which revealed its chipset details. Huawei Nova Flip S chipset revealed

The Huawei Nova Flip S is powered by the Kirin 8000 processor, featuring an octa-core setup with one 2.4GHz Cortex-A77, three 2.189GHz Cortex-A77, and four 1.84GHz Cortex-A55 cores, along with a Mali-G610 GPU. The same chip powers the Huawei Nova Flip, which debuted in August this year in China.

The Nova Flip S is priced from 3,488 Yuan (~$490), making it Huawei’s cheapest foldable so far. It continues with the same external appearance as the original Nova Flip but introduces new colours such as Celadon Blue and Feather Sand Black.

The device ships with HarmonyOS 5.1, offering refined software integration. It features a 2.14-inch square outer display with a 1:1 aspect ratio that supports widgets, animated pets, and quick communication functions. Inside, the phone sports a 6.94-inch OLED screen with a 2690×1136 resolution and 1–120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, ensuring smoother visuals.

Powering the device is a 4,400mAh battery with 66W wired fast charging. On the rear, the Nova Flip S is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel secondary lens, offering decent photography for a compact foldable form factor. Overall, the Nova Flip S refines the design and software experience while keeping costs accessible for foldable enthusiasts.

At present, the availability of the Nova Flip S is limited to China. It is unclear whether the device will be released in other countries.
