The OnePlus 15 isn’t official yet, but the phone has already made its first public appearance. Real-life photos of the device surfaced during the 2025 Peace Elite Professional League (PEL) Summer Finals, where it joined a group photo with past Peace Elite champions.
From the leaked images, the OnePlus 15 has a squarish camera module in the upper-left corner, similar to what we saw on the OnePlus 13T. The module houses three cameras, two in a pill-shaped design, and another lens and an LED flash sit separately on the right.
The setup includes a trio of 50MP lenses, including a periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OnePlus’ new “DetailMax Engine” for sharper shots.

Vivo has officially confirmed that its next flagship smartphones, the Vivo X300 series, will launch on October 13 at 7PM (China time). The company is calling it its annual “imaging flagship,” and the early teasers make it clear that cameras and design are once again the main focus.
On the design side, Vivo is going for something a little different this year. The X300 series will debut a minimalist circular camera module paired with what the company describes as a “suspended water droplet” and cold-sculpted glass design.

iQOO has shared the first teaser for its upcoming Pad 5e tablet in China. The teaser comes alongside the announcement of pre-reservations for the iQOO 15 smartphone.
The teaser shows the Pad 5e in a subtle Green color with a clean rear panel. It has a circular camera module that sits in the corner, housing a single camera sensor and an LED flash. The module also carries ASPH camera branding. The overall design closely resembles the Pad 5 that debuted in China earlier this year.
Pre-reservations for the Pad 5e are now live through iQOO’s official China website, as well as JD.com and Tmall, suggesting the tablet could launch alongside the iQOO 15.

BenQ has announced its first OLED gaming monitors under the MOBIUZ line, bringing OLED performance together with the company’s color tuning expertise. Oppo has officially confirmed that it will unveil ColorOS 16 at a launch event in Shenzhen on October 15, 2025. The announcement, posted on Oppo’s official website, also reveals that the company’s annual Developer Conference (ODC) will take place alongside the launch.
At the event, Oppo will showcase its latest AI strategy and offer attendees a deep dive into ColorOS 16. Oppo’s ColorOS 16 Draws Inspiration from iOS 26

Xiaomi is preparing for a big hardware launch later this month, with leaks pointing to the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro as the main highlights. The event, expected on September 24, might also feature a tablet, smartwatch, and new earbuds, suggesting a full ecosystem refresh.
According to details shared by tipster @Sudhanshu1414, the standard Xiaomi 15T could be priced at €649, while the 15T Pro might come in at €799. Both are said to ship with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage as standard.

The screen delivers up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness and holds the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, which ensures deep contrast and rich highlights.
AOC ships the monitor with Delta E < 1 factory calibration, along with 12-axis color tuning. It covers 99 percent of the DCI-P3 and 100 percent of the sRGB color gamuts. The panel also supports native 10-bit color depth, providing smooth tonal gradation for video editing, photo work, and high-fidelity visuals.
The monitor includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 2.1 connector with 80 Gbps UHBR20 bandwidth, and a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode, 4K 240Hz video, and 65W power delivery. That was just enough to edge past Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge, which lasted 8 hours 45 minutes with a larger 3,900 mAh battery.
Tom’s Guide reported similar findings. In their web browsing loop, the Air managed 12 hours and 2 minutes versus the S25 Edge’s 11 hours and 48 minutes. Video streaming painted an even clearer picture: after five hours, the iPhone Air still had 81% battery left, while Samsung’s phone dropped to 67%. That kind of gap shows Apple isn’t just relying on hardware, but on tight software optimization too.
In fact, Apple was previously rumored to be working on an AI-powered resource management system for better efficiency and extended battery life, which now seems to be a part of the new iPhones. The iPhone 17 Pro Max lasted 11 hours and 53 minutes in XEETECHCARE’s test, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra only managed 9 hours and 18 minutes. The iPhone 17 Pro (3,988 mAh) even outperformed last year’s 16 Pro Max (4,685 mAh) in another test, suggesting Apple has done something really smart in resource management this year — whether that’s AI or other optimizations. And with leaks pointing to Samsung not upgrading the battery capacity of its 2026 Ultra flagship, it’ll be interesting to see how that model stacks up against the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
For now, the iPhone Air proves you don’t need the biggest battery to get strong endurance. The OnePlus 15 is getting closer to its international debut, thanks to a new certification spotted in Malaysia. The phone, listed on the SIRIM database under model number CPH2747, has cleared an important step for approval in Southeast Asia and likely other regions soon after.
OnePlus’s release pattern gives us a rough idea of what to expect. The OnePlus 13 (review) went official in China in October 2024 and arrived globally in January 2025. If the same schedule holds, the OnePlus 15 could launch in China later this year, followed by a global rollout in early 2026.
This SIRIM listing also ties the device to an earlier TÜV SÜD certification in Germany. That filing hinted at 120W fast charging support, which would mean the phone can fully recharge in under half an hour. It’s in line with OnePlus’s habit of keeping charging speeds well ahead of rivals.
Performance should be a highlight too. A Chinese model with the code PLK110 recently appeared on Geekbench, running Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip with 16GB of RAM and Android 16. It scored 3,709 in single-core and 11,000 in multi-core tests.

So putting the iPhone Air in a case removes the magic Apple worked on delivering. This is the only model in the iPhone 17 lineup to use titanium alloy, unlike last year’s iPhone 16 Pros. Meaning you miss out on the impressively thin, light, and premium feel of this model if you slap on a case.
Scratches vs Form: What’s the Trade Off?
Sure, a case can protect against scratches or dents, but it’s worth asking: what do you lose in the process? The iPhone Air was clearly designed with hand feel in mind. Honor has officially locked in the launch date for its next mid-range phone, the Honor X9d, and it’s happening in Malaysia later this month. The event is set for September 24, 2025, at 3 PM local time (7 AM UTC), and early teasers are already giving us a pretty good idea of what to expect.
From the looks of it, the X9d takes heavy inspiration from the Honor X70 that launched in China back in July, but with a few notable tweaks, one of which is a 108MP main camera. The company is putting ruggedness front and center. Just like the Honor X70, this phone comes with an IP69K rating, meaning it can survive not just dust and water, but even high-pressure sprays. Honor also highlights a reinforced frame designed to handle drops better than your average glass-slab phone.
Power won’t be an issue either. Inside sits a massive 8,300mAh silicon-carbon battery, one of the largest we’ve seen in a mainstream smartphone. That should mean multi-day endurance, especially appealing for users who are often away from a charger.
On the design side, Honor is sticking with familiar looks but adding a splash of variety. The reddish brown finish from the X70 is returning, joined by a new Sunlight Gold option. Camera upgrades are also on the table: instead of the X70’s 50MP main shooter, the X9d is tipped to ship with a 108MP primary sensor with OIS, a big leap for anyone who cares about detail and low-light photos.

The Chinese tech giant is recalling the Standard Edition of the SU7, which were apparently manufactured between 6th February 2024 and 30th August 2025. China’s SAMR (State Administration for Market Regulation) has revealed that some units suffer from a problem that makes them incapable of properly recognizing, warning, or handling extreme navigation scenarios when the ADAS (advanced driver assistance system) is active.

To put things simply, this issue can basically cause accidents or collisions if the driver fails to take control on time. Xiaomi has stated that it will fix the issue with a free software update delivered via an OTA roll out. The safety concerns were related to the Level 2 assisted-driving feature of the electric sedan. The company further adds that the Xiaomi SU7 and YU7 SUV models will be getting an upgrade to the latest Xiaomi HyperOS 1.10.0.
For those unaware, Xiaomi has already sold around 340,000 units of the Xiaomi SU7 in its home market of China since it launched in March 2024 in three variants. Xiaomi’s next flagship lineup, the Xiaomi 17 series, is expected to debut in China on September 30. Alongside Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, new leaks suggest the company is putting extra focus on battery life this time around.
According to details shared on Weibo by leaker Panda Is Very Bald, citing Bilibili videos from Neural Tin Tin, the Xiaomi 17 range could see some of the largest batteries yet on the brand’s premium devices.
The standard Xiaomi 17 is said to feature a 7,000mAh cell, up from 5,400mAh on the Chinese Xiaomi 15 (our review). That alone would mark a big jump in endurance, especially paired with the efficiency improvements expected from the new Snapdragon chip.

The Xiaomi 17 Pro may come with a 6,300mAh battery, slightly smaller than the base model but still a step up from the 6,100mAh found in the 15 Pro.
At the top end, the rumored Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is tipped to carry a massive 7,500mAh battery, making it one of the largest in a mainstream flagship. All three models are said to support 100W fast charging, compared to the 90W standard on the previous generation.
The tipster also shared a photo containing four separate batteries, one of which (the one on the right) is believed to belong to the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. It’s reportedly a 6,800mAh unit, outpacing the 6,000mAh cell in last year’s 15 Ultra.
The higher capacities, combined with faster charging, may give the 17 series a significant improvement in battery life—provided the new Snapdragon doesn’t offset gains with higher power draw.
