Oppo’s next flagship, the Find X9 Pro, has surfaced in a detailed leak that outlines nearly all of its key specifications. The handset is expected to launch in China in October, followed by a global rollout — including India — by mid-November.
According to Smartprix, the Find X9 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the phone is MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
The rear camera setup includes a 50MP Sony LYT-828 primary sensor, a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 ultrawide, and a 200MP ISOCELL HP5 periscope telephoto with 3x optical zoom. On the front, a 50MP JN5 sensor with autofocus handles selfies.
Battery life is another highlight — the phone is said to pack a 7,550mAh cell with 80W wired and 50W wireless charging support. Other expected features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, and a multifunction key. The device will ship with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
Reports suggest Oppo will keep pricing in line with the previous Find X8 Pro, around ₹90,000 (~$1,030) in India. That puts it directly against other upcoming flagships such as the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and Apple iPhone 17 Pro. With its large battery, high-resolution cameras, and top-tier hardware, the Find X9 Pro is shaping up to be Oppo’s most competitive flagship to date.
Xiaomi has launched a new premium smart appliance in China, the Mijia Smart Gas Water Heater Pro. The product is priced at 5499 yuan ($767) but will be available for an introductory price of 4999 yuan ($697) starting on August 24.

Lab tests showed a 30.68% increase in cheek hydration, a 33.6% drop in scalp oil, and a 12.5% reduction in forehead oil after 28 days of use.
The heater includes a four-stage filtration system that filters out particles and bacteria using magnetization, mesh filtration, silver-ion modules, and deoxygenation phosphate. It features a corrosion-resistant copper tank and has received Mother and Baby Grade certification for its water quality and safety.
In terms of performance, the heater can deliver 16 liters of hot water per minute with a 25K temperature rise, supported by a 30.0kW thermal load. It uses internal and external dual-loop constant temperature control to maintain a stable water temperature during use. The CQC Level 1 low-noise design includes a sealed combustion chamber, wide-blade fan, and multi-layer soundproofing to reduce operating noise.
The TSI (Turbo Smart Increase) booster pump system supports a 10-meter lift and increases water output by 180%, allowing the heater to deliver consistent flow in multi-story homes. The system also speeds up preheating by 50%, ensuring quicker access to hot water.
Xiaomi has added a drawer-style salt tank that allows users to insert softening salt blocks. The Mi Home app provides real-time alerts when salt needs refilling. Casio is expanding its collaboration with Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai to more European markets. Two models, the G-Shock DW-5600KHG25-1 and DW-5600KHK25-1, were first released in Japan earlier this year and are now listed on Casio’s online stores in Germany, the Netherlands, and other EU countries.

The DW-5600KHG25-1 is based on Hokusai’s “Fine Wind, Clear Morning,” showing Mount Fuji in orange against a blue sky. The DW-5600KHK25-1 uses the famous “The Great Wave off Kanagawa,” with blue waves set against a light yellow background. Both watches have a positive display with a light background, surrounded by a black resin bezel, case, and strap. Dimensions are 48.9 × 42.8 × 13.4 mm, and the weight is 52 g. The band is resin and fits wrist sizes from 145 to 205 mm.
These models are part of the DW-5600 series and come with standard G-Shock functions. Features include a 1/100 second stopwatch with split time and first and second place measurements, a countdown timer with a 24-hour range, hourly time signal, and a multifunctional alarm. A flash alert is included, which triggers with alarms, countdowns, and hourly signals. The display shows time, date, and day of the week. Now, Vivo confirmed the camera sensors that will power the photography on the X300 Pro model.
Looking at some of the pictures shared online (Via NotebookCheck), the Vivo X300 Pro will feature the Sony LYT828 sensor, which has a 50MP resolution and a 1.28-inch sensor size. This is the successor to the LYT818 that was used in the X200 Pro model. The new LYT828 also has 1.22 μm wide pixels and will likely be paired with the brand’s VS1 and V3+ imaging chip. So we can expect an improvement in image quality from the next gen X300 Pro.
That’s not all, even the periscope telephoto shooter is getting an upgrade with a new Samsung shooter. Xiaomi has released the Smart Camera C100 in several European markets. The indoor security camera was first listed on Xiaomi’s global website earlier this year, and it is now available for purchase in the UK and Germany through the company’s online store at £24.99 and €24.99. It is also listed on Amazon in Germany, Spain, France, and the Netherlands, although shipping from Amazon will begin in about a month.

The Smart Camera C100 features a 3MP sensor that records video at 2304 × 1296 resolution. It uses the H.265 video codec to cut storage needs and improve playback. The camera has a 128-degree wide-angle lens and an f/1.6 aperture, which allow full-color video capture in low-light conditions. For night use, it includes invisible 940nm infrared LEDs that avoid the red glow often seen on other cameras.

AI functions on the C100 include human detection, crying baby alerts, loud noise detection, and virtual fence monitoring. Audio-Technica has released the ATH-M50xSTS-USB MIKU Streamset, created in collaboration with Hatsune Miku, the virtual singer developed by Crypton Future Media. The headset is based on the ATH-M50xSTS-USB, built for streamers and content creators, and keeps the performance of Audio-Technica’s best-selling ATH-M50x and 20 series models.

At gamescom 2025 in Cologne, Microsoft announced that the ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X handheld consoles will launch on October 16, 2025. What remains missing is the US pricing, which has delayed the start of pre-orders. In an interview with IGN, Microsoft and Asus confirmed that tariffs in the US have forced them to postpone the announcement of prices and, as a result, pre-orders. Both companies said pricing details and pre-order availability will be revealed in September or October.
European pricing has been consistent: €599 for the Xbox Ally and €899 for the Ally X. The situation in the US has been far less stable. On August 20, Best Buy listed the Ally at $549.99 and the Ally X at $899.99, but later replaced those figures with placeholder values of $9999.99. The price of the Ally has already shifted multiple times, starting at $499.99, then rising to $599.99, before appearing to settle at $549.99 just days before August 20. With the PlayStation 5 also seeing price increases in the US, the final figures for the Ally and Ally X remain uncertain.
Pre-orders were originally scheduled to open on August 20 but were postponed. Following recent investigations, a new target date of September 25, 2025, has been identified. This remains tentative, as the schedule has been adjusted several times in recent weeks.
Alongside the consoles, Asus is also preparing a new accessory. The ROG Raikiri II Pro Controller has been confirmed for release in North America. Dyson has launched its new V8 Cyclone flagship vacuum cleaner in China. The cordless model, priced at 2999 yuan ($418), introduces five key upgrades, including a swappable battery, enhanced suction power, and improved filtration.

The 1993 classic Doom has once again popped up on an unusual piece of hardware—this time on an Anker Prime GaN charger. Thanks to the work of YouTuber Aaron Christophel, the fast-charger has been turned into a quirky little gaming device, giving fans another reason to marvel at just how far the game can stretch.
This Anker Prime comes with a 2.26-inch LCD display and a Synwit AWM34S ARM SoC. The chip, running at 150MHz with 8MB of SDRAM and 16MB of flash storage, is more than enough to handle the nearly three-decade-old game. Using the device’s built-in debugging header, he was able to load the game without any hardware mods.

A new Oppo smartphone has appeared on China’s TENAA certification database, suggesting that the company is preparing to launch the device soon. The handset, listed under model number PLS120, is expected to arrive as the Oppo A6 5G.
According to the listing (via The Tech Outlook), the Oppo A6 5G will feature a 6.57-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1080 × 2372 pixels and support for 10-bit colors, which should deliver rich and accurate visuals. The phone is powered by a 2.4GHz octa-core processor—though TENAA doesn’t specify which one.
The device will be available in 8GB and 12GB RAM variants, with storage options ranging from 128GB to 512GB. A microSD slot allows expansion up to 2TB. One of the standout features is its large 6,830mAh battery, which is bigger than what most mid-range devices currently offer. For photography, the A6 5G comes with a 50MP main camera, a 2MP secondary sensor, and a 16MP front-facing camera.
The phone measures 158.2 × 75.02 × 8mm, weighs 185g, and will be available in a Dark Blue finish. Other details include an in-display fingerprint reader, face recognition, dual SIM support, and standard sensors such as gyro, proximity, and light.

Xiaomi is getting ready to launch its next T-series phones, the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro. Both devices have been making the rounds on the rumor mill, with pricing tipped to start at €649 for the base 15T and €799 for the Pro model.
Now, we’re getting our first real look at the hardware. A TikTok user recently posted a video showing off the 15T Pro from the front and back, and it reveals a copper-like finish on the rear panel.
The camera island sits in the top left corner, shaped like a rounded square with beveled edges, and (no surprise here) features Leica branding in the middle.
What to expect?
In terms of specs, the phone is rumored to feature a 50-megapixel OmniVision OVX9100 main camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 telephoto camera. On the front, it could house a Samsung S5KKDS sensor for selfies.
Under the hood, the device could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage. The 128GB model is said to cost €799, while the 256GB version may be priced at €899. Storage details for the Pro model also align with our previous reports, and some markets might even get a 1TB variant.
Fueling the phone could be a 5,500mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging. The vanilla Xiaomi 15T, on the other hand, is expected to launch in a single 12GB + 256GB configuration for €649. It may come in three color options, namely Gold, Gray, and Black.
Both phones have already popped up in multiple certification databases, signaling that an official launch is just around the corner. Hopefully, Xiaomi won’t keep us waiting much longer to reveal the full details.

Last week, Vivo confirmed that it will soon launch the Vivo Y500 phone in China. While the company has launched a couple of Y400-series phones in markets outside of China, the upcoming Y500 will be a successor to the Vivo Y300, which debuted in December 2024. The first teaser of the Y500 released last week revealed a circular camera module and a durable build, but the brand hasn’t confirmed anything else about it since then. A Weibo post released by tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the chipset and battery size of the device.

The leak further states that the Vivo Y500 will house a mammoth 8,200mAh battery. With this, it will offer the largest battery seen on a Vivo smartphone. The only other mainstream phone that offers a larger capacity is the Honor X70, which debuted last month with an 8,300mAh battery.
As per other reports, the Y500 is expected to arrive with an IP68-rated dust- and water-resistant body. The other details of the phone are yet to be confirmed.

The GT 2 will not be a slouch in the charging department, as it is expected to support 100W charging. The report also states that the Honor GT 2 will offer up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
A previous report revealed that Honor may opt for the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 or last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite to power the Honor GT 2. It is said to be equipped with a 6.7-inch flat OLED LTPS panel that supports 1.5K resolution.
The GT 2 is also said to be equipped with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor and a metal middle frame. As far as the GT 2 Pro is concerned, it is tipped to feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. However, its other specifications are under wraps.

A few days ago, Realme teased that it is working on a smartphone with a battery capacity of over 10,000mAh. The company is now revealing a bit more about what’s next.
In a new teaser, Realme confirmed that the upcoming phone will pack a 15,000mAh battery. The phone can be seen in the images with the 15000mAh text written on the back cover.
It’s another concept phone
That’s more capacity than most rugged phones on the market, which usually come with bulky designs to fit their oversized batteries. But in the teaser images, Realme’s phone does not look unusually thick.
The company also claims it can deliver 50 hours of nonstop video streaming, which sounds wild but also not entirely surprising given the capacity.
If you’ve been following Realme’s experiments, this isn’t coming out of nowhere. Back in May, the company showed off a GT Concept Phone with a 10,000mAh battery that packs the industry’s highest 10% silicon ratio and an energy density of 887Wh/L.
As a result, the phone isn’t too thick or heavy for what it offers. It measures 8.5mm in size and weighs just over 200 grams.
The 15,000mAh version will likely use the same silicon-anode chemistry, probably just scaled up. The real question is how Realme manages to fit it into what still looks like a normal smartphone.
Like the 10,000mAh model, this is another concept phone, which means the tech might not hit shelves right away. Realme says it’ll have more to share on August 27th.
