Smartphones with 7000mAh+ Batteries Might Become Mainstream Soon

Big battery smartphones might finally become more common soon. Battery life is widely considered a key factor when buying a phone, with power users often making either some compromises or sticking with conventional models that let them down. But all of this might be changing very soon.

Massive Battery Smartphones Are Coming Soon

The latest rumor was shared by known tipster Digital Chat Station, on Weibo. He claims that the recent silicon batteries on smartphones that are pushing the boundaries of battery density are merely the tip of the spear. Soon, devices with 7,000mAh battery packs or higher will become a lot more common. This trend is expected to kick off by the end of this year, with the initial wave likely dropping in China first.

Honor X70 launch date-
Honor X70

In other words, the wider release in the global market could arrive sometime next year. Due to the limitations of the current silicon batteries, companies are pushing their R&D teams to experiment with new materials and shapes. So smartphones with batteries larger than 7,000mAh could also be the new standard very soon. In a couple of years, we might see devices push the limits with 10,000mAh cells as well, which is something we’ve typically seen with either concept or brick-like rugged phones.

A recent leak revealed that the Honor Magic 8 Pro could debut with a 7,000mAh+ battery pack. Meanwhile, Xiaomi is working on the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro, which may pack a battery that is larger than 8,000mAh. With silicon carbide battery tech, these models might not see added thickness. A great example is the rumored Honor X70 that is expected to pack a huge 8,300mAh battery despite measuring around 7.9mm.

Alleged Vivo X300 camera specifications leaked well before launch

Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has once again revealed details of an upcoming Vivo smartphone, which appears to be part of the upcoming Vivo X300 series. In a new Weibo post, the tipster shared early details about an imaging-focused flagship device. As per reports, the X300 series may go official as early as September in China.

Purported Vivo X300 camera specifications leaked

Alleged Vivo X300 camera specs leak

According to the leak, a forthcoming Vivo flagship phone will have a 200-megapixel 1/1.4-inch main camera, accompanied by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel IMX882 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The setup may also feature a new prism-based optical stabilization system for improved focusing.

The device is expected to retain premium features such as full waterproofing, wireless charging, ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and a compact 6.3-inch display, making it one of Vivo’s smallest flagships in recent years. This phone is like to be called the Vivo X300 when it hits the market.

In comparison, the Vivo X200, which launched in October last year, came with a 6.67-inch quad-curved screen, a 50-megapixel VCS main camera, and a 5800mAh battery with 90W wired charging. The expected X300 upgrade could mark a major leap in mobile imaging for the brand.

In a separate leak, the same source noted that Vivo—after integrating 200-megapixel periscope sensors into high-end phones like the X100 Ultra and X200 Pro—is now transitioning the 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor to the main camera of its upcoming flagships. The HP9 supports 8K at 30fps and 4K at 120fps, and features Tetrapixel tech that adapts pixel size dynamically. This shift is expected to influence other brands to adopt similar high-resolution sensors in future flagships.

Redmi Turbo 5’s first details leaked, here’s what to expect from the Poco X8 Pro

Reliable tipster Digital Chat Station shared details about the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro, which is expected to launch next year. Today, the tipster shared leaked details about what appears to be the Redmi Turbo 5. While the Turbo 5 series is expected to remain limited to the Chinese market, the Pro model may get rebranded as the Poco F8, whereas the Turbo 5 may be rebadged as the Poco X8 Pro for global markets. Here’s a look at what to expect from the Turbo 5 / Poco X8 Pro.

Redmi Turbo 5 key details tipped

Redmi Turbo 5 key details leaked

As per the Weibo post by DCS, the Redmi Turbo 5 is reportedly being tested with a 6.6-inch display offering 1.5K resolution and a “large R-angle” screen, which refers to curved corners of the screen designed to improve grip and comfort.

Though marginally smaller than the 6.67-inch panel on the Turbo 4, the ergonomic improvements may appeal to both casual and productivity-focused users. In terms of materials, the Turbo 5 could introduce a metal middle frame, shifting away from plastic and giving the device a more refined, sturdy design.

Battery design is also getting attention. The Turbo 4 included a 6,550mAh battery with 90W charging, and early leaks indicate the Turbo 5 may retain a large battery while aiming for a thinner form factor. This suggests Xiaomi is focusing on balancing power and portability. With the inclusion of premium build elements, the Turbo 5 is shaping up to be a competitive option in the mid-range space, possibly targeting users who seek flagship features at an affordable price.

As far as the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro is concerned, it is expected to house a massive 8,000mAh+ battery. The Turbo 5 Pro is expected to go official in Q2 2026, whereas the Turbo 5 may debut at the start of 2026.

Who should buy Samsung Galaxy Watch 8?

Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 8 doesn’t reinvent the wheel. But that’s not a bad thing. Instead of bold overhauls, Samsung’s latest mainstream smartwatch sharpens the experience where it matters: wearability, health tracking, and seamless integration with the Galaxy ecosystem.

So, who exactly is the Galaxy Watch 8 for? After spending some time with the specs, design updates, and the larger wearable strategy Samsung is pushing, the answer becomes pretty clear. It’s for those who care about the details, and not necessarily the spectacle.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 8

1. For people who want simplicity, not complexity on their wrist

Unlike the Galaxy Watch Ultra, which looks like it’s prepped for base camp or a triathlon, the Galaxy Watch 8 opts for a subtler, cleaner aesthetic. It’s the thinnest Galaxy Watch yet, measuring just 8.6mm thick, and comes in two sizes (40mm and 44mm), both with circular displays tucked inside a cushion-shaped squircle body.

This new design language, first seen on the Ultra, helps the watch sit more naturally on the wrist. Samsung even redesigned the lug system to reduce wrist gaps, which improves both comfort and sensor accuracy.

If you’re the type who wants a smartwatch that looks good with a work outfit and disappears on your wrist during a workout, the Watch 8 nails that balance. It’s not trying too hard, and that’s the point.

2. For health data obsessives and casual trackers alike

Samsung continues to lean into health, not just fitness. The Watch 8 builds on an increasingly robust set of wellness tools that go beyond step counts and heart rate zones. Sleep apnea detection, circadian rhythm coaching, vascular load metrics, and even antioxidant level measurement are now included in the experience.

The new AI-powered Energy Score acts like a daily battery percentage for your body. It combines sleep, stress, and physical activity into one simple indicator.

These tools won’t mean much if you don’t care about tracking your health. But for users who like checking in on their physical and mental state, or want to start doing so, the Galaxy Watch 8 offers a rich, science-backed suite of features without overwhelming you with data dumps. It also ties into Samsung’s ecosystem-wide wellness initiative, which now includes the Galaxy Ring, for even more comprehensive analysis.

3. For those who care about future-proof software

Samsung Galaxy Watch 8

This is the first Samsung smartwatch to ship with Wear OS 6, paired with One UI 8 Watch. The UI is cleaner, faster, and better adapted to round displays. Notifications are easier to parse with “depthless” grouping, widgets are more glanceable, and multitasking feels less clunky thanks to the new Now Bar and pinning options.

There’s also Google Gemini built-in, allowing for hands-free control with more natural language processing. It’s still early days for Gemini on wearables, but it’s a promising inclusion that gives the Watch 8 a bit of a future-proof edge for those invested in Google’s AI roadmap.

4. For Galaxy phone owners, especially Z Flip 7 buyers

Let’s be honest. The Galaxy Watch 8 makes the most sense when paired with a Galaxy phone. Samsung’s ecosystem, with features like Samsung Wallet, automatic fitness syncing, and cross-device continuity, thrives when the entire stack is built by Samsung. If you just picked up the Galaxy Z Flip 7 or Fold 7, Samsung’s pre-booking deals on the Watch 8 (and its Classic sibling) make a strong case for bundling it in.

5. For Galaxy Watch 4 (and older) users ready to upgrade

If you’re still using a Galaxy Watch 4 or an earlier model, the Watch 8 is where the upgrade really starts to feel worthwhile. You’re jumping multiple generations ahead in battery life, performance, and sensor accuracy. The new BioActive sensor, redesigned casing, brighter 3,000-nit display, and more comprehensive health tracking combine to offer a significantly better experience.

You’ll also benefit from a longer software support window and a smoother transition into the AI-enhanced features Samsung is beginning to roll out across its ecosystem. For anyone still on aging hardware, the Watch 8 isn’t just a refinement, it’s a reset.

6. So who shouldn’t buy it?

If you’re an endurance athlete, a rugged outdoors enthusiast, or someone who thrives in harsh environments, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is probably the better pick. It has better battery life (up to 100 hours), extreme weather resistance, and multi-sport training capabilities that make it Samsung’s answer to the Apple Watch Ultra.

Also, if you’re coming from the Watch 7, the year-over-year leap may not feel dramatic. The Watch 8 shares the same Exynos W1000 3nm processor and keeps the 2GB RAM/32GB storage config. The performance gains are incremental, and the core experience remains largely familiar.

The story is similar for Galaxy Watch 6 users. It’s still highly capable, and now with the arrival of the Watch 8, it’s also about to get significantly cheaper. If you’re buying your first Galaxy Watch and you’re on a tighter budget, the Watch 6 is arguably the smarter pick. It’s getting the job done, and it’s not going anywhere software-wise anytime soon.

7. The bottom line

The Galaxy Watch 8 is for users who want a refined, light, stylish smartwatch that takes health tracking seriously and lives comfortably within the Galaxy ecosystem. It’s not flashy. It’s not extreme. It just works, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

Motorola Razr Swarovski Edition with Glamorous New Design Rumored to Launch Soon

Motorola might be getting ready to add some sparkle to its foldable lineup. A new rumor suggests that a Swarovski Edition of the Motorola Razr is in the works, promising a premium touch with shiny aesthetics and an elegant finish. While details remain scarce, a new report hints at a limited-edition design collaboration that blends Motorola’s folding phone tech with Swarovski’s signature glam. So let’s check it out.

Motorola Razr Swarovski Edition Revealed

The news arrives from the latest YTECHB report. Motorola is working on a premium new version of the Razr 2025 model (AKA Razr 60) that features a premium design that features crystal studded body. This can be seen in leaked renders, which showcase this elegant look with various small stones embedded into the design. Looking at the render, we can see the Razr flip phone with a soft fabric like material on the back.

Motorola Razr Swarovski Edition

That’s not all, the Motorola Razr Swarovski Edition can also be seen with three near stones near the hinge and the external display. All of this makes it look more like a designer accessory rather than a tech product, so it is clear that the brand is focusing on the limited edition model as a fashion piece as well.

While there is still no official word on this device, another known tipster Evan Blass claimed that the Motorola x Swarovski collaboration may announce the Special Edition Razr phone on 5th August 2025. Keep in mind, this new variant is for the base Motorola Razr 2025 and not the more expensive Ultra variant. So the specs should remain identical to the vanilla Razr 2025. This report also arrives after the company announced the new Moto G96 in the Indian market.

Vivo launches X Fold 5 in India with dual AMOLED screen, triple 50MP cameras, and 6000mAh battery

Vivo has officially launched the X Fold 5 in India, adding yet another book-style foldable to the premium smartphone category. Unveiled alongside the Vivo X200 FE on Monday, the new foldable maintains a familiar two-screen setup while bumping up internal specs to current flagship standards.

Vivo X Fold 5 Specifications

The X Fold 5 features an 8.03-inch foldable AMOLED inner screen and a 6.53-inch AMOLED outer display. Both panels support a 120Hz refresh rate and reach a local peak brightness of 4,500 nits. Vivo says the displays are TÜV Rheinland certified for eye protection and tuned with Zeiss Master Color calibration.

Vivo X Fold5

Performance-wise, the phone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It ships with FuntouchOS 15 based on Android 15.

The hardware is backed by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 80W wired and 40W wireless charging. Vivo claims the phone offers durability certifications across multiple standards, including IPX8 and IP5X. It has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometrics.

Vivo X Fold 5’s camera setup includes three 50MP sensors on the rear. The main is a Sony IMX921 sensor with OIS joined by a Sony IMX882 telephoto lens with up to 100x digital zoom, and a Samsung JN1 ultrawide unit. The foldable uses 20MP selfie cameras on both the inner and cover displays.

Connectivity options are standard for the segment, with dual SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, OTG, and USB Type-C. The phone is 9.2mm thick when folded and 4.3mm when open, with a weight of 217 grams.

Pricing and Availability

The X Fold 5 is priced at Rs 1,49,999 for the lone 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. It comes in a single Titanium Grey finish and is available for pre-order starting today. It will go on sale starting July 30 via Flipkart and Vivo’s official site.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra to Feature Thinner, More Efficient Display

Samsung’s next flagship, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, is already making the rounds online, with a fresh leak hinting that it might debut with some notable display upgrades. This new panel could help Samsung make its next gen flagship sleeker while also improving its efficiency. So here’s what you need to know.

Samsung Preps Display Upgrade for Galaxy S26 Ultra

The news arrives from known Samsung leakster Ice Universe. Samsung is apparently planning on using a CoE OLED panel on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. CoE stands for Color Filter of Encapsulation, which is set to bring various upgrades. This new display technology uses a color filter instead of the typical polarizer and switches the standard PDL (pixel definition layer) with a black PDL (via SamMobile).

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra mockup (modified image of S25 Ultra)
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra mockup (modified image of S25 Ultra)

So how does this help? The different structure of the display panel is thinner, so it allows for improved light transmittance. Apart from this, the screen will also be more power efficient while also offering a higher peak brightness. So the display is not only getting thinner, but also offers longer battery life. Ice Universe also claims that Samsung will apply its latest anti-reflective coating over the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s display.

All of this could allow the South Korean tech giant to make its next top smartphone thinner and sleeker. Even if it skips slimming the device down, the company could use the slightly extra space for a bigger battery. However, rumors still hint at a 5,000mAh battery pack. So Samsung might just make the S26 Ultra a tad bit slimmer, similar to the upcoming Galaxy S25 FE. In related news, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is also rumored to feature Sony’s near 1-inch 200MP camera sensor.

Vivo X200 FE is finally official in the Indian market. The company announced the smartphone alongside its latest X Fold 5 foldable at a launch event on Monday.

Vivo X200 FE launches in India

The X200 FE rounds out the X200 series as the final model in the lineup. It is a smaller, more pocketable flagship, meant for users who want high-end hardware without the bulk of it.

Vivo X200 FE Overview

The phone is built around a 6.31-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The panel can reach 1800 nits of peak brightness and has support for HDR 10+ and Shield Glass protection. It is quite easy to manage as it’s just 8mm thick.

Vivo X200 FE

Under the hood, Vivo has equipped the X200 FE with MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9300+ processor. It’s paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone ships with FuntouchOS 15 based on Android 15.

On the back, the X200 FE features a Zeiss-tuned triple setup consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. It has a 50MP front camera for selfies.

The phone gets its power from a 6,500mAh cell with support for 90W wired fast charging. Vivo claims the device is IP68 and IP69 certified, meaning it should withstand water and dust better than most phones in its class. Other specs include an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual SIM 5G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and USB-C.

Vivo X200 FE vs Samsung Galaxy S25: Flagship Features, Tough Choice

Vivo X200 FE and Samsung Galaxy S25 represent two of the most balanced premium flagships of 2025, each offering top-tier performance. This comparison matters because it pits Vivo’s hardware-centric value against Samsung’s polished ecosystem and long-term software support. For buyers seeking flagship-level features without crossing into ultra-premium pricing, this is one of the year’s most important matchups.

1. Design and Display

VIVO X200 FE
Vivo X200 FE

Build and Feel:
The vivo X200 FE offers a refined glass-aluminum build with a premium matte texture and includes IP68/IP69 ratings, giving it higher resilience against water jets than the Galaxy S25’s IP68 alone. The Galaxy S25 counters with more scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both sides and a tougher Armor Aluminum 2 frame, making it more durable for everyday drops. The vivo phone feels denser and sturdier in hand, while the S25 is more compact and lightweight, enhancing one-handed usability.

The Galaxy S25 edges ahead for durability and handling, while the X200 FE feels more solid and rugged in challenging environments.

Display Quality:
Vivo X200 FE has a 6.31″ LTPO AMOLED panel with an impressive peak brightness up to 5000 nits and 2160Hz PWM dimming, delivering more vivid outdoor visibility and reduced eye strain. The Galaxy S25’s 6.2″ LTPO AMOLED 2X peaks at 2600 nits, with HDR10+ and 480Hz PWM, offering excellent smoothness and color fidelity. However, the vivo panel provides deeper HDR contrast and higher PWM for better comfort during long sessions.

Vivo X200 FE offers a brighter and more eye-friendly display, giving it the edge for media consumption and reading comfort.

2. Specifications

Galaxy S25
Galaxy S25

Performance:
Galaxy S25 uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite (3nm), a flagship-tier chip with extremely high CPU/GPU frequencies, making it ideal for heavy multitasking, gaming, and future-proofing. The vivo X200 FE features the Dimensity 9300+, which is no slouch and provides comparable real-world performance, especially in sustained workloads due to its efficient thermal profile. The Galaxy’s Adreno 830 GPU, however, gives it better gaming and AI benchmark scores.

Galaxy S25 leads in peak performance and GPU power, though the X200 FE remains competitive in everyday tasks and thermal balance.

Battery and Charging:
Vivo X200 FE includes a massive 6500mAh battery (global version) with 90W wired charging, achieving a full charge in under an hour. The Galaxy S25 has a significantly smaller 4000mAh battery and just 25W charging, but supports wireless and reverse wireless features, including Qi2. In longevity and charging speed, vivo offers a significant advantage. Samsung’s edge lies in wireless ecosystem support, useful for users with wearables and wireless accessories.

Vivo X200 FE dominates with longer endurance and faster charging, while Galaxy S25 offers better wireless convenience.

3. Camera

VIVO X200 FE
Vivo X200 FE

Main and Secondary Lenses:
Both phones feature 50MP main sensors with similar image sizes, but Samsung’s dual pixel PDAF and Super Steady video add more versatility, especially for video. The S25 also boasts an excellent 12MP ultrawide with larger pixels for better night shots. Vivo’s 50MP periscope lens offers higher resolution zoom, but the ultrawide lags with only 8MP. Samsung supports up to 8K video, a clear win for content creators.

Galaxy S25 provides more balanced and capable triple-lens versatility, especially for video and ultrawide photography.

Selfie Camera:
The vivo X200 FE carries a high-res 50MP front camera capable of 4K video, making it ideal for high-quality selfies and vlogging. Samsung’s 12MP front shooter includes HDR10+ and dual-pixel autofocus, delivering natural tones and solid low-light results. While Samsung offers slightly better software optimization, vivo’s raw resolution and video capabilities offer more creative flexibility.

Vivo X200 FE wins in selfie detail and video resolution, while Galaxy S25 offers smoother results for quick snaps.

4. Pricing

Both phones are priced similarly at around $700, positioning them as premium flagships under a value-friendly umbrella. The vivo X200 FE offers more RAM (up to 16GB), higher battery capacity, and faster charging for the price. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25 brings in flagship polish, longer software support (7 Android upgrades vs 4), and better brand resale value.

Vivo X200 FE offers better hardware value at $700, but the Galaxy S25 delivers better long-term ecosystem and support benefits.

5. Conclusion

Galaxy S25
Galaxy S25

Galaxy S25 brings Samsung-exclusive software like DeX, Circle to Search, and Wireless DeX, giving it an edge for productivity and integration with other devices. It also supports 8K video and offers more durable materials. vivo X200 FE counters with a 6500mAh battery, ultra-bright display, advanced cooling, and Zeiss optics, making it a performance beast with camera tuning perks.

For users focused on gaming, endurance, and high-res selfies, vivo is better suited. For users valuing compactness, camera balance, and software longevity, the Galaxy S25 stands out.

Choose vivo X200 FE for raw hardware value and battery; choose Galaxy S25 for balanced performance, camera versatility, and superior long-term support.

Galaxy S26 Ultra rumored to feature Sony’s almost 1″ 200MP sensor

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra, expected to launch in January 2026, could finally pack a larger main sensor — potentially allowing it to catch up with rivals from China in terms of camera hardware.

Galaxy S25 Ultra
Galaxy S25 Ultra

According to Chinese tipster Fixed Focus Digital, the Galaxy S26 Ultra might be equipped with a 1/1.1″ 200MP Sony CMOS sensor — potentially Sony’s first-ever 200MP sensor for smartphones. The leak, shared on Weibo, suggests a significant jump in hardware compared to the 1/1.3-inch ISOCELL HP2 sensor used in the last three generations of Galaxy S Ultra phones.

A larger sensor generally means better light capture, which could translate to sharper detail, improved low-light shots, and better digital zoom. If true, this would be one of the most significant hardware upgrades in the S26 Ultra and could drive a major leap in the phone’s imaging capabilities.

While Samsung currently leans on its in-house Exynos chips for both flagship and mid-range devices, a shift to a Sony sensor could signal a new strategy to stay competitive with brands like Xiaomi and Vivo, which already use larger and more advanced sensors in their premium phones.

That said, the leak isn’t definitive. Some sources suggest the Sony sensor might not be ready in time for the S26 Ultra and could be pushed back to the Galaxy S27 Ultra in 2027. Samsung could still use the ISOCELL HP2 for another year in its S Ultra phone.

According to previous reports, the other cameras on the S26 Ultra may receive iterative updates — such as a slightly higher-resolution 3x telephoto sensor and a revised lens setup for the main sensor. Interestingly, earlier rumors suggested that no major camera upgrades would arrive for the Galaxy S Ultra series until 2028, which casts some doubt on the possible inclusion of a 1/1.1″ 200MP sensor in the S26 Ultra or even its successor. That said, all of this information is based on unofficial sources — and only time will tell what Samsung ultimately has planned for its next Ultra flagship.

Realme 15 Pro confirmed with 7,000mAh battery, 6,500nits peak brightness

Realme is gearing up to launch its Realme 15 series in India on July 24, and all eyes are on the Realme 15 Pro 5G. The phone is shaping up to be a serious contender in the mid-range segment, with a huge battery and a surprisingly bright display.

The official microsite confirms that the Realme 15 Pro 5G will debut at 7 PM IST on July 24. One of its most talked-about features is the massive 7,000mAh battery — the largest in its class — paired with 80W wired charging over USB-C for fast refills.

On the surface, it features a HyperGlow 4D Curve+ AMOLED display, with a peak brightness of 6,500 nits and a 144Hz refresh rate. Realme says the display has a 94% screen-to-body ratio, a 2,500Hz touch response rate, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass — specs that rival many premium phones.

Under the hood, the phone runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset. Built on a 4nm process, it promises a 27% jump in CPU performance compared to the previous generation, offering smooth gaming and multitasking experiences.

Despite the massive battery, the phone measures just 7.69mm thick, and as you might have expected, it carries an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. It will be available in four finishes: Flowing Silver, Silk Purple, Velvet Green, and Silk Pink.

On the software front, Realme is introducing new AI features, including the “industry-first” AI Edit Genie, which lets users edit photos using voice commands. There’s also AI Gaming Coach 2.0 and AI Ultra Touch Control for enhanced mobile gaming.

Realme says the camera details will be officially confirmed soon, so stick around.

Realme 15 Pro live image leak confirms dual 50MP main and ultrawide camera

Realme’s upcoming mid-range phone, the Realme 15 Pro 5G, has just appeared in a leaked live image, and it tells us a lot more than we expected. The image, shared on social media, shows the phone in a new Velvet Green color with a leather-like back finish and a camera design that breaks away from Realme’s usual style.

Instead of the round camera rings we’ve seen since the Realme 11 series, the 15 Pro brings a rectangular camera module to the lineup. It houses two rear cameras, both of which are 50-megapixel sensors. One is a standard main camera, while the other is an ultrawide.

Realme 15 Pro misses a telephoto lens

There’s no telephoto lens here. Realme might be saving that for a higher-end 15 Pro Plus variant. The phone also has a 50MP selfie camera tucked into the display.

The leaked image also shows part of the settings screen, revealing other key specs. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also packs a surprisingly large 7,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging, all inside a body that’s just 7.69mm thick.

Realme has already teased several features officially, including the display. The 15 Pro features a curved AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, 6,500 nits of peak brightness, and 94% screen-to-body ratio. It also supports a 2,500Hz touch sampling rate and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

The phone will ship with Realme UI 6.0 (based on Android 15) and introduce some new AI features. That includes AI Edit Genie, which lets users edit photos with voice commands, AI Gaming Coach 2.0, and AI Ultra Touch Control to improve gameplay response.

The Realme 15 Pro 5G will be available in four colors: Flowing Silver, Silk Purple, Velvet Green, and Silk Pink. The phone is set to launch on 24 July in India.

HyperOS code string reveals Xiaomi 16 series phone with dual display

Xiaomi may be preparing to revive one of its most experimental ideas. According to a string of recent leaks, the company is working on a new smartphone with a secondary rear display, much like the one on the Mi 11 Ultra.

We first heard about it last month via a leak claiming that the phone has a horizontal secondary screen next to its rear camera. Now, fresh details are emerging straight from Xiaomi’s own software.

Xiaomi Q200 leaks with dual-display support

Code spotted in the latest version of HyperOS includes references to a device with the model name Pandora and model code Q200. More notably, there is an explicit mention of sub-screen display support in the code string.

Xiaomi hasn’t offered a dual-screen phone since the Mi 11 Ultra, which featured a tiny rear display embedded into the camera module. It allowed for quick glances at notifications, selfie framing, and a few other gimmicks. It didn’t exactly catch on, and Xiaomi hasn’t revisited the concept since. Until now, it seems.

According to a previous leak, the Q200 will be the top-end variant of the Xiaomi 16 line after the Xiaomi 16 Ultra. It could take the place of the Xiaomi 15 Pro, while the Xiaomi 16 and Xiaomi 16 Pro are said to be compact models in the line.

There’s still no official confirmation, and hardware details are still under wraps. And the device’s model number, 25098PN5AC, doesn’t reveal much either.

However, sources say the Q200 could launch in September alongside the standard Xiaomi 16 and 16 Pro, with the initial rollout limited to China.

That’s typical for Xiaomi. The company often keeps more experimental models in China first, before considering global releases based on feedback. If history is any guide, the Q200 might not show up globally until early 2026—if it ever does.

Hisense launches X3 Plus air conditioner with dual fresh air vents, 16dB quiet mode & 5-layer filtration

Hisense has launched the Deep Sleep Fresh Air Conditioner X3 Plus in the Chinese market. The product is now available for reservation on JD.com at a launch price of 2,499 yuan ($348).

Hisense X3 Plus

Hisense X3 Plus Specifications

The X3 Plus is a smart air conditioning unit designed to improve indoor air quality and sleep comfort. It is officially recognized as the Global Official Air Conditioner of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. The air conditioner supports a large fresh air intake of up to 60m³/h, which allows it to introduce oxygen-rich outdoor air while expelling indoor air pollutants. Hisense claims this system helps reduce indoor CO₂ levels and can extend deep sleep duration by up to 15%.

The X3 Plus features an industry-first dual fresh air vent design. The upper outlet handles air diffusion while the lower outlet introduces fresh air. These two vents work together to create a convection cycle that improves whole-room ventilation. Users can select between a 40m³/h single-vent mode or a 60m³/h dual-vent mode, which requires an additional wall opening.

The unit includes a five-layer filtration system, which combines a HEPA-grade filter, Hi-CAT nano-catalyst antiviral mesh, and layers for removing pollen and other allergens. Hisense says the X3 Plus achieves 99.99% removal rates for H1N1, E. coli, and staph bacteria, and over 97% efficiency for PM0.3 particles. The device also supports an anti-formaldehyde mode using Hisense’s Drying Room 2.0 system, which accelerates the release of VOCs from new furniture using heat and airflow.

The X3 Plus operates as quietly as 16 decibels thanks to a dual-inlet centrifugal fan. It includes a “Deep Sleep Companion” function that uses Z-pattern airflow blades, wave-form diverters, and butterfly flaps to create soft, non-irritating wind. The unit delivers up to 800m³/h airflow, capable of refreshing the room’s air 16 times per hour.

The system features an APF energy efficiency rating of 5.28, placing it above China’s first-class standard. Hisense claims it can reduce electricity consumption by up to 36% with the help of its in-house X-Core inverter chipset.

Hisense has designed the X3 Plus with a matte brushed “Cream White” finish that resists fingerprints and complements a range of interior styles. The outdoor unit uses a Diamond-Class seven-layer anti-rust coating that provides 10 years of corrosion resistance. It can operate in environments ranging from -36°C to 66°C.

The X3 Plus also features a 57°C high-temperature self-cleaning mode, remote control functionality, PTC heating, and dehumidification. Its screen automatically turns off in dark environments for better night-time comfort. The unit is rated at 1.5 horsepower and is suitable for rooms sized between 16 to 24 square meters.

In related news, Hisense recently launched the HT SATURN Home Theater System featuring 7.1.2-channel audio and Devialet sound technology, priced at €999.
