Last week, Oppo launched its first budget K-series smartphone in the Indian market — Oppo K1. The phone, which was first announced in China in October last year, comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, something that’s rear in the budget segment.

The front-facing camera has been optimized to capture beautified selfie shots whereas the rear-mounted dual cameras come with features like LED flash, HDR, PDAF, portrait mode, and professional mode. The front camera also supports the face unlock feature.
In terms of software, the Oppo K1 is running Android 8.1 Oreo-based ColorOS 5.2. Connectivity options on the device include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, micro-USB 2.0, USB OTG and 3.5mm headphone slot. The phone is powered by a 3,600mAh battery but lacks fast charging support.
