With the stable Android 17 release approaching soon, many Xiaomi users are wondering whether their devices will receive the next major upgrade, which will also bring a new HyperOS 4 skin on top. So, we’ve prepared a list of devices that are likely to receive the update once the rollout begins later this year.
Which devices get HyperOS 4?
Every recent Xiaomi flagship back to the Xiaomi 13T, the Redmi Note 14, 15 and 17 series, the Redmi K90 series, and POCO’s F6-to-F8, X6-to-X8 and current M and C series — plus Redmi Pad and POCO Pad tablets — are in line for HyperOS 4, based on Android 17. Xiaomi will unveil the update in July or August 2026, with the rollout expected to reach older devices around October. The full brand-by-brand list is below.
While Xiaomi hasn’t revealed anything about HyperOS 4, early leaks suggest it could be a big upgrade rather than just an incremental yearly update. Hence, we’re really looking forward to this upgrade, which should be released for the devices listed below.
For every Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO rollout in one place including this list, bookmark our Xiaomi hub page. We track other brands too: the Android Update Tracker covers Samsung, OnePlus, OPPO, Vivo, Nothing and more.
HyperOS 4 update is coming to these Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco devices
Let me be clear. Xiaomi hasn’t published such a list, so we had to dig through the update policy for every single device to find out if it’s eligible or not. We didn’t include devices we weren’t confident about. So, even though it’s an unofficial list, it will hardly differ much from the official one.
We’ll update the list when Xiaomi announces it.

POCO’s own Android 17 confirmations are tracked separately in our Android 17 for POCO list.
If your device is on the list, it should receive the HyperOS 4, based on Android 17, which will start rolling out later this year.
It’s important to note that Xiaomi has released a new HyperOS software update with a year-old Android OS in the past. A case in point is HyperOS 3.0, which was released to some devices running on Android 15.
So, even if your device isn’t eligible for Android 17, there’s still a chance that it may receive the latest HyperOS 4 update. However, that build will likely have some missing features.

As for the HyperOS 4 release, Xiaomi has officially confirmed the unveil will happen in July or August, and leaks point to the Xiaomi 17 series and Redmi K90 series forming the first beta batch. In the meantime, Android 17 has already begun reaching eligible devices: Xiaomi started rolling out the interim HyperOS 3.3 update on July 15, beginning with the Xiaomi 17 series. The full HyperOS 4 rollout is still expected to reach older devices around October 2026.
