TCL has launched its latest QD-Mini LED TV series called TCL T6L in the Chinese market. The pricing of these TVs starts at 2,899 yuan ($398) and they are now listed on JD.com. Let’s check out its key specs.

The news arrives from known tipster Smart Pikachu who shared the details on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging website). The online post confirmed details regarding the Pura 80 series. Huawei announced the Pura 70 series back in April 2024, with its global release following a month later in Europe. Now, we have more details regarding the display and cameras of the Pura 80 series. The Pura 80 lineup is expected to include a 6.6-inch straight display panel. This is likely for the more affordable base model.

On the other hand, the higher-end variant may offer a taller 6.8-inch curved display. This might be the Pro or Ultra variant. To recall, the Pura 70 came with a 6.6-inch panel, while the Pura 70 Pro and Pura 70 Ultra sports a taller 6.8-inch screen. But ahead of the European announcement, the pricing for these smartphones and the smartwatch was leaked online.

The news arrives from a 91Mobiles report, which revealed the pricing details for these devices. To recall, the Redmi Note 14 lineup consists of the Note 14, Note 14 Pro, and Note 14 Pro+ models. Although, the report adds that the 4G only Redmi Note 14 4G will also debut alongside these three models in Europe. So it will likely arrive as the cheapest or entry level phone in the upcoming lineup.

The report sourced the pricing from retail listings, which revealed that the Redmi Note 14 4G will cost around 240 Euros for the 8GB + 256GB variant. It will be available in three colors options, namely Mightnight Black, Ocean Blue, and Lime Green. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 14 5G in Coral Green, Lavender Purple, and Midnight Black will launch for around 300 Euros in the region with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Xiaomi could launch a cheaper 6GB RAM option as well, but this is still unclear.

Interestingly, the Redmi Note 14 Pro series had its pricing revealed, bundled with the Redmi Watch 5 Lite. MediaTek is reportedly working on a new Dimensity 8-aeries chip called the Dimensity 8400. A recent Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station revealed that the Redmi Turbo 4 will be the first phone to feature the new chip. Redmi General Manager Wang Teng Thomas has confirmed that the Turbo 4 will debut this month, but the company is yet to release its official teasers. A new update by the same Xiaomi executive reveals that the Turbo 4’s launch has been postponed.

Wang Teng Thomas responded to a query about upcoming announcements by stating, “Plans have changed!” This suggests a possible postponement of the Redmi Turbo 4’s anticipated launch event.

Reports now suggest that the Turbo 4 will be announced in January 2025. There is no clarity as to why the arrival of the Turbo 4 has been delayed. The Redmi K80 series, which debuted in November in China, is reportedly selling very well both online and offline. This success could provide more sales space for the K80 lineup, leading to a shift in priorities. As a result, the launch of the Redmi Turbo 4 may be delayed, allowing for continued focus on the K80 series.

According to reports, the Turbo 4 will have a flat OLED screen that offers a 1.5K resolution. Although the device’s battery size remains unknown, it is expected to support 90W rapid charging. The device is likely to cost between 1,500 Yuan (~$205) and 2,000 Yuan (~$275).

The upcoming OnePlus Ace 5 series for the Chinese market is expected to include two models, such as the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro. Reports indicate that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 8 Elite chipsets, respectively, will power these models. While the company has been teasing the arrival of the Ace 5 series, it is yet to reveal the launch date. The screenshot shared by a Chinese tech blogger reveals that the Ace 5 series’ reservations have begun in China. Additionally, the tipster also shared key specs for both smartphones.

The reservation listing for the OnePlus Ace 5 series available on a Chinese retailer site mentions a deadline of 14:30 on Dec. 26. Hence, it appears that Dec. 26 could be the Ace 5 series’ launch date.

The OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro will have a 6.78-inch flat BOE X2 OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Ace 5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and a 6,415mAh battery with 80W fast charging. On the other hand, the Ace 5 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and a 6,100mAh battery with 100W charging. Both phones will feature LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

As per the Google Play Supported Devices listing, spotted by MySmartPrice, the POCO M7 Pro 5G comes with a 2409FPCC4I model number, and the “I” stands for the Indian variant. While the listing does not reveal any specifications, the brand has confirmed that the M7 Pro 5G will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 8GB of virtual RAM. It will run on Android 14-based HyperOS and is promised to receive two major OS updates and four years of security updates.
