Apple’s “Awe Dropping” event is set for September 9, 2025, marking one of the most eagerly awaited launches of the year. During this event, the company will unveil the new iPhone 17 series, which might include a new Air model, along with new Apple Watches, upgraded AirPods, and more.

Event Details: How to Watch

Apple fans worldwide are invited to watch the company’s highly anticipated new product drop. The event is titled “Awe Dropping” and is set on Tuesday, 9th September 2025 at 1PM ET/ 10AM PT or 10:30PM IST. Apple’s keynote will be hosted at Apple Park’s Steve Jobs Theater at the brand’s headquarters in Cupertino, California. It will also be livestreamed globally from the brand’s official website, YouTube, and even the Apple TV app.

Apple iPhone 17 Series

The big highlight of this event is the brand’s latest flagship iPhones. Just like before, the iPhone 17 series will consist of four models, which include:

iPhone 17: The compact flagship that finally gets a 120Hz OLED display, new color options, and rumors of an improved camera, and the latest A17 chip.
iPhone 17 Air – Replacing the Plus model, this ultra-thin 5.5 mm device features a taller 6.6-inch display, super slim 5.5mm body, a titanium frame, and a single main camera on the rear.
iPhone 17 Pro & Pro Max – Titanium frames give way to lighter aluminum, with ProMotion OLED, 48MP telephoto cameras, and upgraded A19 and A19 Pro chips. The Pro Max is expected to include a larger battery.

New Apple Watches

During the event, the company is expected to refresh its smartwatch lineup with the new Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and Apple Watch SE 3. The Watch Series 11 is the standard models, while the Ultra 3 is the flagship wearable. The Watch SE 3 is built as a more affordable option in the lineup.

Apple might finally be releasing a new AirPods Pro, which would be the third gen model. These hearables are expected to offer improved audio, better ANC, and rumors of new health related sensors for heart rate tracking.

First iPhone Delay in 6 Years? Apple’s iPhone 15 Could Be Delayed

Apple had planned to launch the iPhone 15 series in September, but recent reports indicate a change in plans for the tech giant this year. Instead of its typical September reveal for its new generation of iPhones, the launch has been pushed back slightly to October. This is a surprising change, as Apple has not delayed the launch of its iPhones in the past, even during the pandemic. So why is the launch date changing? Here are the details…

Apple’s iPhone 15 Launch Date in Doubt

As you know, September is a very important month for Apple. The company has introduced almost all of its phones, including the latest iPhone 14 series, in September, and this has become a tradition. However, a report by Bank of America analyst Wamsi Mohan suggests that the iPhone 15 series could be delayed by a few weeks. Mohan said that the delay is due to supply chain problems, and it could hurt Apple’s third-quarter revenue.

Mohan did not give a specific reason for the alleged iPhone 15 launch delay other than “supply chain problems”.

If the iPhone 15 does launch in October, it would be the first time that Apple has delayed the launch of its flagship iPhone lineup since 2017. The iPhone X was delayed by a few weeks due to production problems. It remains to be seen whether the iPhone 15 will actually be delayed. However, Mohan’s report is a sign that there are some concerns within Apple about the launch of the new phone.

Latest Apple iPad Air may feature M1 series chipset: Report

The Apple event is just a few hours away, but prior to the conference, a new report has revealed information related to the upcoming iPad Air. Apparently, the latest generation of iPad Air will feature the company’s proprietary silicon, the M1 series chipset.

iPhone SE (2nd Generation) and iPad Air (4th Generation)

For those unaware, the Cupertino based giant is set to unveil a number of new products during its March 8 event. This includes its newest affordable iPhone, the iPhone SE 3, a new Mac mini, 5th gen iPad Air, and possibly even a new external display as well. Now, a new MacRumors report revealed more information regarding the upcoming iPad model. Similar to the 2021 iPad Pro, the fifth gen iPad Air will also launch with an M1 chip.

As per previous rumors, the new iPad Air was initially believed to arrive with the A15 chip that supports 5G networking, like the iPad mini. Although, it seems that the brand may just launch it with an M1 chip, bringing it more in line with its higher end iPad models. However, Apple could skip some of the features on the premium iPad. In other words, the upcoming iPad Air won’t feature the Pro variant’s ProMotion display technology and LiDAR sensor on the rear camera module.

Talking about the chip itself, the M1 chipset features an 8 core CPU compared to the 6 cores on the A15 SoC. So, the iPad Air will offer improved performance over any A15 based iPad models. Apple to launch new iPad Air & iPhone SE in March 8 event: Report

Apple had just sent out invites for its March 8 event earlier today (3rd March 2022). During this event, the company was expected to unveil a number of new products, and now, a new report has hinted at the launch of its next gen iPad Air and iPhone SE model.

The information arrives from a known Asian telecom carrier. The operator is one of Asia’s leading mobile networks, who had recently built a page that listed both devices. With the March 8 event being just around the corner, it’s no surprise that retailers, carriers and others are preparing pages for the upcoming products. So, it is highly likely that the Cupertino based giant will be announcing the new iPhone SE model alongside the latest generation of iPad Air next week.

Looking at the listings (Via 91Mobiles), the carried is creating a page for the new devices and even included product images for the new smartphone and tablet. It was already rumored that the new iPhone SE and iPad Air will be announced during this event, but the listing more or less confirms it. Furthermore, the metadata for the tablet’s page has also stated that the new iPad is the fifth generation of iPad Air. On the other hand, the iPhone SE will be the third iteration of the company’s most affordable phone.

Keep in mind that this information is still unconfirmed at the moment, so take it with a pinch of salt. We will have to wait for an official announcement to know more about these products as well, considering Apple typically waits till the launch of its electronics gadgets to reveal more details.

Apple’s Back to School Promotion suggests October Event for new Mac and iPad is imminent

Apple is all set to host an event tomorrow which will be virtual and is expected to be a center stage for the iPhone 13, Watch Series 7, and 3rd-gen AirPods. From what rumors have suggested so far, Apple may have plans for an additional event to unveil the new Mac and iPad models. MacRumors believe that Apple’s Annual Back to School promotion end date could decide when the next event might take place.

Last year, Apple decided to extend its Back to School promotion till October 12, and we witnessed an event on October 13, just a day after the promotion ended. As for this year, the Back to School promotion is ending on September 27 in the U.S. but going by the theory, having two events in September is less likely. However, the promotion is ending on October 11 in Europe, which makes more sense, and it is highly likely that we could witness an event on October 12.

Feasibility and planning this event, all lie with Apple, but it definitely is possible. Again, this is just a theory, and we have no other option but to wait for an official word to come from Apple.

In all likelihood, there will be an additional event this fall that will be dedicated to the upcoming Macs and iPads. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman suggests that there are going to be only two events this fall. Whatever the case, we will find it out soon.

Huawei to launch new tablet on the same day as Apple’s April 20 event

Huawei is gearing up for the launch of its new tablet. The company will be unveiling the new device on its 20th April 2021 event, which is also the same day when Apple is set to hold its next Special Event.

According to a NotebookCheck report, the Cupertino based giant recently revealed the date when it will announce new products soon. In this event, it is expected that the company will offer a first look at the 2021 iPad models. But it seems that Huawei is also looking to launch its own new tablet on the same date as well. This clash in dates might be on purpose, with the Chinese tech giant being confident about its upcoming tablet.

The new tab from Huawei is likely the MatePad Pro 2, which has recently been rumored to arrive with a Kirin 9000 processor. This tablet would also sport a large 12.2 inch OLED display from Samsung along with support for 5G networking as well. Notably, the MatePad Pro 2 could possibly launch with HarmonyOS out of the box. For those unaware, this is a proprietary operating system developed by the Chinese consumer electronics maker.

This software might be exclusive to the Chinese market. Unfortunately, finer details regarding the MatePad Pro 2 is currently unknown. Furthermore, we would have to wait for the April 20 event to know more regarding both launch conferences. Apple has finally updated its Apple events page. Captioned as “Spring Loaded”, the event is said to take place on April 20 at 10:00 AM PDT (01:00 AM Beijing Time / 10:30 PM IST). If you have an iPhone/iPad product, you can witness the AR version of the multi-colored logo as well.

After a lot of misquoted dates, Apple’s Siri assistant itself has revealed the date of the next launch event. While Apple hasn’t confirmed it yet, the next Apple event is said to be on April 20 as per Siri.

Just like users reporting on Twitter and MacRumors reports, I tried asking Siri, “Hey Siri, Apple event”. It replied that a Special event is on next Tuesday, i.e, April 20. Apple recently confirmed that it’s WWDC 2021 will be online and begin on June 7.

While one might expect the same for this event, Siri says that the event will be hosted at Apple Park in Cupertino, CA. That said, it doesn’t confirm it as an in-person event and considering the situation, we can expect Apple to stream a pre-recorded video on social media channels like YouTube.

Also, Siri didn’t say anything about the products/announcements that are going to be unveiled at the event. However, we have seen various reports in the past and they suggest that Apple will bring the iPad Pro 2021, Apple TV 2021, and long-rumored AirTags.

There are also rumors about the new iMacs and Macbooks but we aren’t sure if they would see the light on that day.

Talking about the iPad Pro models, Apple is said to bring 11-inch and 12.9inch iPad Pro models. Out of this, the 12.9-inch is said to feature a mini-LED display. Other expected specs include A14X chipset, Thunderbolt connection via USB-C, and more.

As for the Apple TV 2021, it is expected to bring upgrades like HDMI 2.1 port, support for 120Hz refresh rate content, powerful GPU and higher RAM capacity, and more.
