<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-373127" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Galaxy-M62-featured.png?x10805" alt="Galaxy M62 featured" width="788" height="506" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Galaxy-M62-featured.png 788w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Galaxy-M62-featured-300x193.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Galaxy-M62-featured-768x493.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Galaxy-M62-featured-696x447.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Galaxy-M62-featured-654x420.png 654w" sizes="(max-width: 788px) 100vw, 788px" /></p>
<p>The Galaxy M62 has a 6.7-inch FHD+ Infinity-O Super AMOLED Plus display. The centered punch hole is home to a 32MP camera that can shoot images with a bokeh effect.</p>
<p>The unnamed octa-core processor which we know is the Exynos 9825 is matched with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. It is important to state that the specification page mentions 256GB of storage but that variant is not available even on the purchase page. A MicroSD card slot will allow users to add up to an extra 1TB of storage.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-373126" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Galaxy-M62-cameras.png?x10805" alt="Galaxy M62 cameras" width="901" height="470" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Galaxy-M62-cameras.png 901w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Galaxy-M62-cameras-300x156.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Galaxy-M62-cameras-768x401.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Galaxy-M62-cameras-696x363.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Galaxy-M62-cameras-805x420.png 805w" sizes="(max-width: 901px) 100vw, 901px" /></p>
<p>There are four cameras on the phone &#8211; a 64MP f/1.8 camera, a 12MP f/2.2 ultrawide angle camera with a 123° viewing angle, a 5MP f/2.4 macro camera for adjusting the depth for portrait photos, and a 5MP f/2.4 depth camera. Sadly, none of these sensors have OIS. However, you can record in 4K at 30 fps and also HD slow-motion at 480fps, 240fps, and 120fps.</p>
<p>The Galaxy M62 has dual SIM card support and a dedicated MicroSD card slot. It also has NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, an audio jack, and a USB-C port. Under the hood is a massive 7000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.</p>
<p>The phone is available in Blue, Black, and Green but there is no price tag yet.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">According to multiple certifications and leaks, the upcoming Galaxy M62 with </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/16/samsung-galaxy-m62-fcc-listing-confirms-phablet/"><span style="font-weight: 400">model number SM-M625F</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> is rumored to be a rebadged version of Galaxy F62 that has a model number SM-E625F.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The latter has been confirmed to launch in India next week on February 15. Hence, it is interesting to know that Galaxy M62 will also be debuting in India as its support page is now </span><a href="https://www.samsung.com/in/support/model/SM-M625FZKGSLK/"><span style="font-weight: 400">live</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> in the country.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Further, it is worth noting that the first Galaxy F series smartphone, known as </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-f41/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Galaxy F41</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> in India, is also sold as Galaxy M21s in Brazil. Both of them are basically the same device with no difference and hence, the latter did not launch in India.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">On the other hand, since both Galaxy F62 and Galaxy M62 will be available in India, there’s a high chance that this duo could be similar to recent Redmi and POCO smartphones. And we are back with the upcoming Smartphones for the month of February 2021. This month usually gets a lot of Flagship launches but some companies like <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/samsung">Samsung</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi">Xiaomi</a> have already launched their top smartphones early.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Nevertheless, we have got a lot of devices from <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei">Huawei</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oppo">OPPO</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/redmi">Redmi</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/vivo">Vivo</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme">realme</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/nokia">Nokia</a>, and more. Although we are still early into the month of February, few brands have already launched their devices so be sure to read till the end to know about them.</p>
<h3><strong>HUAWEI Mate X2</strong></h3>
<p>This is probably the most important launch of the month, if you ask me. Huawei has stood the test of the toughest times in the last two years. The company is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/02/idc-report-shows-huawei-leads-the-chinese-smartphone-market-by-a-wide-margin/">still the hero</a> of the home country China.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-369162" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Huawei-Mate-X2-launch-date.jpg?x10805" alt="Huawei Mate X2 launch date" width="1920" height="1080" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Huawei-Mate-X2-launch-date.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Huawei-Mate-X2-launch-date-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Huawei-Mate-X2-launch-date-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Huawei-Mate-X2-launch-date-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Huawei-Mate-X2-launch-date-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Huawei-Mate-X2-launch-date-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Huawei-Mate-X2-launch-date-747x420.jpg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1920px) 100vw, 1920px" /></p>
<p>Anyway, the third-gen Foldable device(after Mate X, Mate Xs), the HUAWEI Mate X2 will <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/03/huawei-mate-x2-launch-date-is-february-22/">launch on February 22</a> in China. Expected specs include an inward folding 8.01 inches main display, likely a 6.45-inch Cover display, Kirin 9000 5G chipset, quad-cameras with 50MP sensor, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/03/render-gives-us-an-early-looks-at-the-huawei-mate-x2/">16MP dual-front</a> punch-hole cameras, 4,400mAh battery with  <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/10/huawei-mate-x2-with-66w-fast-charger-bags-3c-certification/">66W rapid charging</a>, and more.</p>
<h3><strong>Xiaomi Mi 11 and Mi 11 Lite, Mi 11 Pro</strong></h3>
<p>Xiaomi <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/28/xiaomi-mi-11-arrives-with-the-snapdragon-888-a-top-tier-display-harman-kardon-speakers-and-more/">unveiled</a> the world&#8217;s first Snapdragon 888 chipset phone(<a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-11">Xiaomi Mi 11</a>) in China back in December. This device is confirmed to debut Globally on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/29/xiaomi-mi-11-global-launch-set-for-february-8/">February 8</a>. Alongside the flagship, Xiaomi is also expected to <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/12/exclusive-xiaomi-mi-11-lite-to-launch-alongside-mi-11-globally/">bring a Mi 11 Lite</a>. <h3><strong>ASUS ROG Phone 5</strong></h3>
<p>Just like the flagships, 2021 is likely to see an early debut of the Gaming Smartphones. This time, out of nowhere, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/21/redmi-to-launch-its-first-gaming-smartphone-to-be-powered-by-the-dimensity-1200/">players like Redmi</a> are also joining the list. <h3><strong>Nokia 3.4, 5.4</strong></h3>
<p>HMD Global has been focusing on mid-range and budget devices lately. Anyway, the company will launch Nokia 5.4 in the USA on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/02/nokia-5-4-heading-to-the-u-s-a-on-february-15/">February 15</a> and India on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/03/exclusive-nokia-5-4-launching-in-india-on-feb-10-nokia-3-4-may-tag-along/">Feb. 10</a>(Our Exclusive). With yet another certification under the belt, it seems that Samsung may soon launch the Galaxy M62 smartphone in different markets.</p>
<p>As usual, the NBTC certification only reveals that the SM-M625F/DS moniker is associated with the Galaxy M62 smartphone and has no information on its specs. The moniker and model number were last seen at the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/26/samsung-galaxy-m62-and-galaxy-f62-bags-bluetooth-certification-launching-next-month/">Bluetooth SIG certification</a>. The handset has also received <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/20/samsung-galaxy-m62-wifi-certification/">Wi-Fi Alliance approval</a> in the recent past. These certifications show that the Galaxy M62 carries support for Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Android 11 OS.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-368941" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Samsung-Galaxy-M62-NBTC-certification.jpeg?x10805" alt="Samsung Galaxy M62 NBTC certification" width="1277" height="735" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Samsung-Galaxy-M62-NBTC-certification.jpeg 1277w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Samsung-Galaxy-M62-NBTC-certification-300x173.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Samsung-Galaxy-M62-NBTC-certification-768x442.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Samsung-Galaxy-M62-NBTC-certification-1024x589.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Samsung-Galaxy-M62-NBTC-certification-696x401.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Samsung-Galaxy-M62-NBTC-certification-1068x615.jpeg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/Samsung-Galaxy-M62-NBTC-certification-730x420.jpeg 730w" sizes="(max-width: 1277px) 100vw, 1277px" /></p>
<p>It is believed that Samsung is also gearing up to launch a phone named Galaxy F62. It could be a rebranded version or its specs could be a lot like the Galaxy M62. The SM-E625F/DS model number that belongs to the Galaxy F62 and the SM-M625F model number were both <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/16/samsung-galaxy-m62-fcc-listing-confirms-phablet/">found in FCC certification.</a> It revealed a couple of more specs such as 4G LTE, NFC support, and a 7,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.</p>
<p>The Galaxy F62 was spotted with an <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/exynos-9825">Exynos 9825</a> chipset and 6 GB of RAM <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/03/samsung-galaxy-f62-sm-e625f-leak-geekbench/">at the Geekbench benchmarking platform</a>. It is speculated that the device could be equipped with up to <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/07/samsung-galaxy-m62-sm-m625f-256gb-leak/">256 GB of native storage</a>. The Galaxy F62 has also bagged <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/07/samsung-galaxy-a32-a52-f62-and-sm-e025f-bag-bis-certifications/">certification from the BIS authority</a> of India and its support page is also <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/30/samsung-galaxy-f62-f12-a72-a52-5g-support-pages-are-now-live-may-launch-in-february/">live on Samsung India’s website</a>.</p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/13/samsung-galaxy-f62-panel-images-appear-to-reveal-design/">leaked shots of the Galaxy F62’s panel</a> revealed that it could be sporting an AMOLED panel with an in-screen fingerprint reader. It could be equipped with a square-shaped camera module. The images revealed the presence of connectivity ports such as a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB-C. Apart from the Galaxy M62 / Galaxy F62 smartphone, the South Korean company is also expected to launch phones like <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/30/samsung-galaxy-f62-f12-a72-a52-5g-support-pages-are-now-live-may-launch-in-february/">Galaxy F12, Galaxy A72, and Galaxy A52</a> this month.</p>

<p>The Bluetooth SIG agency has approved the SM-E625F_DS Samsung phone with the Galaxy F62 moniker. The Galaxy M62 is also listed on the certification platform with its SM-M625F_DS model number. The listings only confirm that these handsets carry support for Bluetooth 5.0. Both models have also received certification from <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/20/samsung-galaxy-m62-wifi-certification/">Wi-Fi Alliance</a> in the recent past. Speculations are rife that both phones may arrive with almost identical specs.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/23/samsung-galaxy-f62-e62-and-galaxy-m02-supports-pages-appear-on-official-website/">support page of the Galaxy F62</a> was recently found listed on Samsung India’s website. The Bluetooth and Wi-Fi certifications of the Galaxy F62 as well as its appearance on the official website are a good hint that it may launch at some point in February.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, not much is known about the specifications of the Galaxy M62 / F62. Last month, the Galaxy F62 was <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/03/samsung-galaxy-f62-sm-e625f-leak-geekbench/">spotted at the Geekbench benchmarking platform</a> with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/exynos-9825">Exynos 9825</a> chipset, which also fueled that the Galaxy Note 10 series that debuted back in 2019. The F62 was found to be equipped with 6 GB of RAM and Android 11 OS.</p>
<p>Other reports have revealed that the Galaxy F62 could be sporting an <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/13/samsung-galaxy-f62-panel-images-appear-to-reveal-design/">FHD+ AMOLED display and a quad-camera system</a>. The handset is also expected to arrive with an in-screen fingerprint reader. The Galaxy F62 will be the second F-series phone from the brand to land in India after the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-f41">Galaxy F41</a> handset that debuted in October last year.</p>

<p>The South Korean tech giant is expected to release a number of budget smartphones worldwide in the coming days. A bunch of them have already cleared necessary certifications and have been even spotted on benchmarking platforms like Geekbench.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The Galaxy M series is Samsung’s online-exclusive device lineup with limited offline availability. So far, all the devices in this series have been entry-level, budget, and mid-range smartphones. Hence, the Galaxy M62 with model number SM-M625F was also expected to be a handset.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">But it turns out that it will be the first-ever tablet in the Galaxy M series. According to the source of </span><a href="https://www.91mobiles.com/hub/samsung-galaxy-tab-m62-launch-exclusive/"><i><span style="font-weight: 400">91Mobiles</span></i></a><span style="font-weight: 400">, this device will go official as Galaxy Tab M62. But unfortunately, nothing else is known about this product except for the fact that it will be compact in size and will be available in a 256GB storage variant.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Currently, </span><a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/Samsung/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Samsung</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> has two series of tablets. The premium and mid-tier models release with Galaxy Tab S branding. On the other hand, the budget models come with Galaxy Tab A branding.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Since the Galax M series’ placement is similar to the Galaxy A series, we can expect the Galaxy Tab M62 to be a budget tablet. Therefore, we think it could be the spiritual successor to the Galaxy J Max, the only tablet in the Galaxy J series that was launched in 2016.</span></p>
<p>But a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/03/samsung-galaxy-f62-sm-e625f-leak-geekbench/">benchmark listing</a> says otherwise. Last week, a device going by the name of Galaxy F62 was spotted on Geekbench with Exynos 9825 and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Android-11/">Android 11</a>. For those unware, this is the same chipset that powers the last year&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-note-10/">Galaxy Note10</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-note-10-plus/">Galaxy Note10+</a>.</p>
<p>Further, since Galaxy M and Galaxy F series are idenntical except for their retailer exclusivity. Hence. this Galaxy F62 could be the Galaxy M62. If that is the case, then this device will be a mid-range tablet.</p>
