Last month, the Stadia Team announced that more features will be coming to Stadia this quarter but there was no mention of tablet support. Nevertheless, we hope that happens soon.

Included in the bundle is a black Galaxy Note10+ with logos of the First Order, Star Wars, and Samsung on the back. The rear camera housing as a red accent and the S Pen also has a matching red and black paint job, giving off a lightsaber appearance.

There is also a pair of matching Galaxy Buds, a custom case, and a metal badge as a collector’s item. The phone itself also has custom wallpapers, icons, sounds, and shutdown animations that reflect the Star Wars franchise.

It is a perfect bundle of Samsung’s best phone and its best wearables.

Samsung is marketing the Galaxy 10th Anniversary Premium Package as a great holiday gift for your loved ones. There is no price tag yet but it will be available in select markets this November. We hope the price is lesser compared to when bought separately.

Samsung has also released two videos to market some of the features of its devices. The first video advertises the SmartView feature that allows you to send content from your device to a larger screen such as a compatible TV with a single tap. Samsung says this should come in handy during the holidays when viewing photos or watching a video or movie.

The other video is for its Link to Windows feature. With this feature, your phone and Windows 10 PC are seamlessly connected thanks to Windows “Your Phone” feature. Your Phone allows you to access your phone’s apps on your computer screen. You will able to reply to messages without picking up your device or even edit photos from your phone on the PC.

It will be called PlayGalaxy Link but only a few details are known about the service. However, Samsung uploaded a short video demoing the service on its Korean Youtube channel.

Based on the video, the feature will be available first on the Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Note10+. As you can see in the clip, users will be able to stream games played on their PCs to their phones. The user has to sign in to the PlayGalaxy Link app on their computer, and also launch the app on their phone.

Both devices will have to be on the same Wi-Fi network and also use the same Samsung account. Once set up, you will be able to pause a game on your PC and continue playing on your mobile phone.

It has been reported that Parsec is the company behind the low-latency technology used for PlayGalaxy Link.

The video also shows the Galaxy Note10 has a special controller attached to it. Called the Glap Controller, it is said to be custom-made for Samsung but can also work with devices under 7.5-inches in size and not more than 10.1 millimeters thick.

The controller has a D-pad and a joystick on the left while the right is home to XYAB action buttons and another joystick. There are additional buttons like the home button, play, and power buttons. It also has trigger buttons at the top. The controller has a 10-hour battery life and will also work with a Windows PC. The Glap Controller is priced at GBP 79.99 in the UK and USD 72.99 on Amazon in the US.

PlayGalaxy Link will be available for free when it launches in September but it is unknown if there will be exclusive games for the platform later in the future.

While Samsung technically didn’t provide a reason for the removal of the audio jack in its other phones, it has provided reasons for doing so with the Galaxy Note10. Probably because it is a flagship and because its size should mean that there should be no compromises.

The Verge reports that a Samsung rep informed them that the removal of the audio jack allowed them to increase the battery size by about 100mAh. It is also reported that the removal of the audio jack should improve haptic feedback since there is no hollow chamber inside the phone.

You are not the only one that thinks these excuses do not hold water as Samsung itself proved over and over again that the headphone jack could stay on a phone without the sacrificing other features. And it also made videos mocking the removal of the audio jack from the iPhones. It would have been better if it didn’t provide any reason at all and we would accept that it is a decision that was sort of inevitable.

Samsung does include a pair of USB-C wired earphones in the box if you still prefer wired earphones over wireless.

While the removal of the audio jack from the Note series is definitely heartbreaking for lovers of the line, Samsung’s decision to not provide a MicroSD card slot for the Galaxy Note10 drives the blade deeper into the heart. Samsung decided to use this as a difference between the Galaxy Note10 and the Galaxy Note10+ which we think is really unfair.

Now that the Galaxy Note series has finally bid farewell to the 3.5mm audio jack, will the Galaxy S series be next? We sincerely hope Samsung can keep it for at least one more year.

The new Note series includes the Galaxy Note10, the Galaxy Note10+, and the Galaxy Note10+ 5G.

Design

The Galaxy Note10 is practically the most beautiful Galaxy Note ever made. From its thin body to the small hole in the display for its front-facing camera and its gorgeous display, it truly is a stunning device.

This year, Samsung made a significant change to the Galaxy Note series by launching two variants with different sizes. We believe this will be the new trend going forward. Below are some of the new features that the Galaxy Note10 series brings.

Improved S Pen

The S Pen is the heart of the Galaxy Note series and this year, the stylus brings a new feature. The new S Pen has a six-axis motion sensor which includes an accelerometer. This allows you to use the S Pen as a gesture remote for things like video recording and presentations. It also supports gesture control for YouTube using just the S Pen. Samsung says the SDK will also be available so that developers can create new ways to use the S Pen.

The new S Pen also has improved battery life and notes written with the S Pen can be converted into text that can be saved into PDF, TXT, or Word Document. Handwriting to Text conversion is said to support several languages thanks to Machine Learning. You can also increase/reduce the size of texts or highlight certain parts of your written notes.

Camera

The Galaxy Note10 brings some pretty cool features such as bokeh in live video recording. If you also zoom in while recording a video, the microphone also “zooms” in on the sound but this is only available on the Galaxy Note10+ and Galaxy Note10+ 5G. The Galaxy Note S10 also has a full video editor, so you can record and edit on the same device before sharing your content to the world.

AR Doodle is also a new feature that allows you to use the S Pen to edit photos with dynamic drawings, animations, and effects that track to the image.

Specs

Galaxy Note10

The Galaxy Note10 has a 6.3” FHD+ (2280 x 1080) Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O display. It is powered by the Exynos 9825 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of non-expandable storage. The US version has a Snapdragon 855 processor.

The Note10 has triple rear cameras – a 16MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera, a 12MP primary camera with an f/1.5 & f/2.4 variable aperture, and a 12MP f/2.1 telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. The camera in front is a 10MP f/2.2 camera. There is Bluetooth 5.0, Dual-Band WiFi, NFC, Dual SIM (nano), Samsung DeX, Samsung Pay, and a USB Type-C 3.1 port. It also has an IP68 rating.

The Galaxy Note10 packs a 3500mAh battery and supports Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 (12W), Wireless PowerShare, and 25W Wired Charging. The Galaxy Note10 will support LTE networks in all countries but will support 5G in Korea. The 5G version has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The Galaxy Note10 will be available in Aura Glow, Aura Pink, Aura Black, Aura Red, and Aura Pink.

Galaxy Note10+ and Galaxy Note10+ 5G

The Galaxy Note10+ and Galaxy Note10+ 5G share practically the same specs except for very few differences. They both have a 6.8-inch WQHD+ (3040 x 1080) Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O display. There is an Exynos 9825/Snapdragon 855 chipset under the hood paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of storage. Both phones also support storage expansion (1TB max). The Note10+ 5G adds a 5G modem (Exynos S5100/Snapdragon X50).

The Galaxy Note10+ and Note10+ 5G have quad rear cameras. In addition to the three cameras of the smaller Galaxy Note10+, there is also a ToF DepthVision camera for features like 3D scanning. 3D scanning allows you to scan objects on to your phone and even add motion technology to the scanned object. A demo during the launch showed a 3D scanned fluffy toy imitating the person in the viewfinder. It even works when you point the camera at a video on another screen.

The Galaxy Note10+ and its 5G variant pack a bigger 4300mAH battery. They both support Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 but 15W, and also 45W SuperFast Wired Charging. You have to buy the 45W charger separately as it is not included in the box.

The Galaxy Note10+ will be available in Auro Glow, Aura White, Aura Black, and Aura Blue.

Ahead of the New York Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung has unveiled the new Exynos 9825 chipset, its first 7nm EUV mobile processor.

The Exynos 9820 which powers the Galaxy S10 series is an 8nm processor, so the biggest change here is the switch to a smaller node size. The biggest upgrades with that change are an increase in performance and power efficiency.

While the Exynos 9825 is far from being the first 7nm processor, it is actually the industry’s first to use EUV (extreme ultraviolet lithography) processing. Samsung says EUV allows them to use “extreme ultraviolet wavelengths to print finer circuits and develop a more power-efficient processor”.

The Exynos 9825 is an octa-core processor with 2x 4th gen Custom CPUs paired with 2x Cortex-A75 cores and 4x Cortex-A55 cores. The configuration is identical to that of the Exynos 9820. The new SoC also uses the same ARM Mali-G76 MP12 GPU as its predecessor. It supports 8K 30fps or 4K UHD 150fps encoding and decoding.

The new #Exynos9825. Power evolved for the next generation of mobile.

It also has an integrated NPU for tasks like AI-assisted photography. It supports UFS 3.0 and UFS 2.1 storage and also LPDDR4x RAM. The SoC has a built-in 4G LTE modem but can be paired with the Exynos Modem 5100 for 5G.

The Exynos 9825 support dual camera (16MP + 16MP), a front camera of 22MP and a rear camera of 22MP. It also supports 4K UHD displays (4096 x 2160) and WQUXGA displays (3840 x 2400).

For those who are disappointed about the CPU cores and GPU, you may want to set your eyes on the Exynos chipset for next year which should feature the Cortex-A76 or Cortex-A77 Cores and maybe its first mobile GPU developed in partnership with AMD instead of Arm’s Mali-G77 GPU.

The latest is the retail price for both phones in Europe and the US.

According to Ishan Agarwal (@ishanagarwal24), the Galaxy Note10 will have a starting price of €949. This is for the 256GB variant. If you want the Galaxy Note10+, you will have to pay €1099 for the 256GB version. If you want double the storage, you will shell out €1199 for the 512GB version. He adds that there may be slight differences in the price between countries.

In a separate tweet, he said the starting price of the Galaxy Note10 will be £899 in the UK while that of the Galaxy Note10+ is £999.

Roland Quandt is the source for the US pricing and he said the Galaxy Note10 will sell for $949 for the 256GB version. The Galaxy Note10+ will have a $1099 price tag, for the 256GB version. There is no pricing for the 512GB models.

Samsung will definitely add amazing gifts for those who pre-order the Galaxy Note10 duo. As is the tradition, the gifts will vary depending on the market.

The Galaxy Note10 series will come with Infinity-O displays which has a small hole in the middle of the screen for the front-facing camera. Depending on the market, there will either be a Snapdragon 855 processor or an Exynos 9825 processor. The Galaxy Note10 will have three rear cameras while the Galaxy Note10+ will have four. Both will support wireless charging and wired fast charging. Unfortunately, they won’t have an audio jack.

Today, Samsung has confirmed that a new chipset is indeed coming and it will launch on August 7, the same day the Galaxy Note10 series will be unveiled.

The official Samsung Exynos Twitter account shared a video teaser ahead of the launch. The eleven-second video doesn’t reveal any detail about the chipset.

Based on reports, the Exynos 9825 will be a 7nm chipset unlike the Exynos 9820 that is 8nm. The smaller node size should bring improvements in performance and power efficiency.

The Galaxy Note10 powered by the Exynos 9825 appeared on Geekbench last month. There is even a comparison with the Galaxy S10+.

Samsung will announce the Galaxy Note10 series in New York. A few days before then, August 5 to be precise, Samsung will announce the Galaxy Watch Active 2. However, we have a feeling there will be another product announced alongside the phones at the event in New York. The event will be live-streamed on YouTube.

Today, press renders have surfaced of the Galaxy Note 10 in an equally stunning pink shade that we can’t help but drool over.

The renders were first published by Winfuture.de and they show the phone from a variety of angles. The pink paint covers not only the rear of the phone but also the sides. The stylus also has the same color.

There are reports the Galaxy Note10 will also be available in blue and green but we are yet to see pictures that confirm the claims.

The leak is a promo material that was shared on Twitter by @evleaks (Evan Blass). It shows the Galaxy Note10+ 5G along with a stylus pen. It also reveals the phone will be available first at American wireless carrier, Verizon.

However, more details about the new Samsung flagship are expected in the weeks leading up to the event. While we have seen renders based on CAD drawings and have an idea what it looks like, they still can’t compare to official renders of the device which have now surfaced, thanks to Roland Quandt of Winfuture.de.

The renders show us two of the color variants the Galaxy Note10 will be available in which are Black and Silver Gradient. The latter is similar to the Huawei P30 Pro’s Breathing Crystal color variant and has a contrasting blue stylus.

The Galaxy Note10 has an Infinity-O display with the punch hole for the camera sitting right in the middle at the top of the screen. The top bezel is now significantly thinner while the chin has also been shaved by a few millimeters. In a nutshell, we particularly like the way the front of the device looks.

The rear is home to three cameras stacked on top of each other and sharing the same housing. Flanking the sensors on the right is the LED flash. There is no fingerprint scanner on the rear like we have on the Galaxy Note9 as the Note10 will have an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. In some of the renders, we see the back of the Galaxy Note10 curves to meet the frame in the middle.

The Galaxy Note10 will come with a Snapdragon 855/Exynos 9825 processor depending on the market. It will have a 6.3-inch screen Super AMOLED display and be available in different RAM and storage configurations. There will also be a Galaxy Note10+ whose live photos surfaced a few weeks ago.

It has been reported that the Unpacked Event may be scheduled for August 7. However, we don’t have to wait that long to see what the phone looks like as live photos of the Galaxy Note10+ have surfaced on the web.

You read that right, Galaxy Note10+ is the name, not Galaxy Note10 Pro. The name can be seen on the boot screen in one of the images.

In another of the photos, we get a good look at the display. The bezels around it are slim and the sides are curved. At the top, right in the middle, sits a punch hole for a single camera. Under the display lies a fingerprint scanner just like in the Galaxy S10+.

The third photo is blurry but it shows the phone’s rear. The triple rear cameras are arranged vertically and there is an LED flash beside it. We don’t get to see more images that show the sides, so we can’t confirm the position of the ports and buttons. Previous leaks have revealed the phone will not have an audio jack as well as a Bixby button.

[envira-gallery id=”261534″]

The Galaxy Note10+ will come with a Super AMOLED Infinity-O display, an Exynos 9825 processor in some markets and a Snapdragon 855 chipset in others. It should run Android Pie out of the box along with an update to Android Q later.

According to Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), the Galaxy Note10’s camera will have not two but three variable apertures. In addition to the F1.5 and F2.4 apertures, the primary sensor will also be able to switch to an F1.8 aperture. He mentioned that the info comes from Samsung China’s engineers.

While phones can change apertures electronically, Samsung’s own cameras switch apertures mechanically just like a DSLR. We explained how it works back when Samsung just announced it.

The Galaxy Note 10 is expected to launch in early August with a brand new Exynos processor, up to four cameras, and a punch hole display. Leaked renders and images of cases show the phone will not have an audio jack and will also ditch the Bixby button. It will also have a Pro model and there are rumors of a Tesla Limited Edition.

Yes, Samsung is said to be planning a Galaxy Note10 Tesla Edition.

A Chinese blogger shared a post on Weibo almost a week ago that the Korean phone giant will partner with Tesla to release a limited edition Galaxy Note10. The post even includes a render of the phone.

The phone has a gray brushed metal finish with red accents and a 3D Tesla logo sitting on the back. The S Pen is also mainly red with the upper third in gray.

We haven’t seen this get reported anywhere, so we advise you to take it with a grain of salt. However, it is also possible the info is genuine. Just before the Galaxy S10 launched, it was reported that there would be a red variant of the phone. While the source got the name wrong, Samsung did announce a Cardinal Red variant for the Galaxy S10 series.

It is possible, the source of this Galaxy Note10 Tesla Edition rumor is someone in the supply chain. And just like the Cardinal Red Galaxy S10, it may launch much later after the Galaxy Note10 Unpacked event.

The Galaxy Note10 should launch in August. It will have a Pro variant with quad-rear cameras while the standard version will have triple rear cameras. Both will have a centered punch hole display and be powered by the unannounced Exynos 9825 processor.

The Galaxy Note10 will come with a punch hole display but quite different from that of the Galaxy S10 which has its hole at the right corner or the Galaxy S10+ which has a pill-shaped hole. The hole in the display of the Note10 is in the middle of the upper part of the screen.

The 6.3-inch QHD+ display is curved on both sides and has pretty thin bezels at the top and bottom. The power button and volume controls are on the left now while the right is devoid of buttons. Yes, no more Bixby button.

[envira-gallery id=”257645″]

The top of the phone is where the SIM tray lies while the bottom is home to the USB Type-C port, a speaker grille, and the S Pen. The beloved audio jack is gone.

The Galaxy Note10 will come with three rear cameras. Not a horizontal arrangement like on the Galaxy S10. Instead, they are stacked up vertically and positioned at the left side of the phone. The cameras are raised and contribute to the phone’s overall thickness of 8.5mm.

The device doesn’t have a fingerprint scanner on the back which means there is one under the display. There is also no visible slit for the earpiece and that means the Galaxy Note10 will also use the display to pump out audio just like the Galaxy A80.

Samsung will launch the Galaxy Note10 in Exynos 9820 and Snapdragon 855 variants. It should be available in multiple configurations with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. There are also reports there will be a Pro variant of the Note10 which will not have any physical buttons.

Reports say we might get as much as four variants just like the Galaxy S10 series. However, rather than a plus model, there will be a Galaxy Note10 Pro. The battery capacity of this Pro model has been revealed.

A photo alleged to be that of the Galaxy Note10 Pro’s battery surfaced on the web recently with a battery capacity of 4500mAh. The model number of the battery is EB-BN975ABU. Previous reports have revealed the Galaxy Note10 Pro’s own model number is SM-N975 which means the battery in the image is most likely its own.

The Galaxy Note9 has a 4,000mAh battery, so this is definitely an upgrade for the Galaxy Note10 Pro. However, the non-pro model may keep the same capacity as its predecessor.
