<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei/">Huawei</a>, the Chinese tech giant, is planning to launch its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/01/23/huawei-p60-pro-specs-leaked/">Huawei P60</a> series of flagship smartphones and the Huawei Mate X3 flagship foldable in March, and a recent online advertisement shown in the country has detailed that Huawei will be hosting a launch event on March 23 to unveil the brand’s latest devices.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="690" height="395" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Huawei-P60-March-23.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-520573" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Huawei-P60-March-23.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Huawei-P60-March-23-300x172.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /><figcaption>Huawei March 27 Launch Event Advert, Source: Even if there is a westerly wind on Weibo</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The advertisement was screenshotted by the Weibo user, <a href="https://weibo.com/2557459351/Mw2Uq0El6?refer_flag=1001030103_">even if there is a westerly wind</a>, and the advert states that Huawei is holding its annual spring launch event to unveil the brand’s latest products to the country, and the highlight is its flagship <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/01/23/huawei-p60-pro-specs-leaked/">Huawei P60 series</a>.</p>

<p>Earlier this year, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei/">Huawei</a> teased that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/01/23/huawei-p60-pro-specs-leaked/">Huawei P60 series</a> and Huawei Mate X3 foldable will be launched together in March 2023, so it is safe to say that the Huawei Mate X3 will be launched at the March 23 launch event as well.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="630" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Huawei-P60-March-630x1024.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-520575" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Huawei-P60-March-630x1024.jpg 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Huawei-P60-March-185x300.jpg 185w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Huawei-P60-March-258x420.jpg 258w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Huawei-P60-March.jpg 640w" sizes="(max-width: 630px) 100vw, 630px" /><figcaption>Huawei March Launch Teaser, Source: Huawei China</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Besides, the screenshot of the online advert, the prominent Chinese leakster, <a href="https://weibo.com/6084203417/Mw29aa9SE">the factory manager is classmate Guan</a>, also posted on Weibo saying that Huawei will be holding a launch event on March 23 to reveal its latest devices for 2023.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The leakster also quotes his previous post saying that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/huawei/">Huawei</a> will launch not only smartphones at the event, but also smart tech ecosystem devices as well such as the Huawei FreeBuds 5 wireless earphones, the Huawei Watch 4 smartwatch, and the Huawei Band 7 smart fitness band.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/01/23/huawei-p60-pro-specs-leaked/">From our previous reporting</a>, it was reported that the upcoming Huawei P60 Pro will arrive with a 6.6-inch OLED display that will produce a 120Hz refresh rate and a 1440p resolution. Packing a 5,000mAh battery, the smartphone will support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC but it will be capped to 4G only, with no 5G connectivity due to restrictions imposed on Huawei.</p>

<h3>Huawei Band 7 specs and features</h3>
<p>Successor to the Band 6, the new wearable measures 9.99 mm thick and weighs just 16 grams. It has a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with 194 x 368 pixels resolution. Having an AMOLED display gives the watch access to the &#8220;Always On&#8221; feature without consuming much energy.</p>
<p>It has a button on the right edge for turning the device on or off and to help input commands. The Huawei Band 7 also features multiple sensors like an accelerometer, gyro sensor, and heart rate sensor. It also houses a SpO2 sensor which can help users detect signs of sleep apnea by monitoring their blood-oxygen levels during sleep. The Huawei band 7 also features a reminder function for menstrual cycles.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-457531 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/huawei-band-7-img02.jpg?x44794" alt="Huawei Band 7" width="1280" height="582" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/huawei-band-7-img02.jpg 1280w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/huawei-band-7-img02-300x136.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/huawei-band-7-img02-768x349.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/huawei-band-7-img02-1024x466.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/huawei-band-7-img02-696x316.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/huawei-band-7-img02-1068x486.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/huawei-band-7-img02-924x420.jpg 924w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p>The smart wearable features 96 sports modes including swimming and can track the number of calories the user has burned during their workouts and sports activities.</p>
<p>The smart band comes with 5ATM protection meaning it can withstand the wearer diving around 50 meters underwater with the Band 7 on. Huawei claims that with a full charge, the battery will last up to 14 days, but this is the best-case scenario with moderate use, and using the &#8220;Always On&#8221; function will significantly decrease the battery life. Other than that, the smartwatch has over 7000 watch faces and is also available in an NFC-enabled variant.</p>
<h3>Huawei Band 7 pricing &amp; availability</h3>
<p>The Huawei Band 7 standard variant costs 269 yuan (~$40) while the NFC variant is priced at 309 yuan (~$46) in China. The smart band is available for pre-order and will commence its first sale on May 5.</p>
<p>It comes in four color options &#8211; Wild Green, Flame Red, Obsidian Black, and Nebula Pink.</p>
