UMIDIGI is getting ready for its next flagship, UMIDIGI Z5 Pro, and has just teased a 64MP sample image shot by the device. As the company claims, the Z5 Pro will be among the first few models in the world to launch with the new 64MP Samsung sensor. This new sensor is almost certainly the Samsung ISOCELL GW1 which was announced by Samsung recently. This teaser means that Xiaomi and Realme won’t alone in offering this feature soon.

According to a recent leak, the Chinese manufacturer UMIDIGI is soon going to launch a new model following the big success of the A5 Pro. The leaked poster says that it is will be named UMIDIGI X but that might be a temporary name. According to the same poster, the phone is going to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor, a feature that is mostly found in expensive flagship devices. But according to UMIDIGI’s strategy until now, this one should be part of the budget market segment.

Currently, in-display fingerprint readers can only be applied to OLED displays so the UMIDIGI X will certainly come with one. That’s great since OLED panels have more accurate colors with true black, better contrast, and sometimes better brightness than common LCD panels. Also, they are more power efficient most of the times since LCD panels have always-on LEDs to function while OLED panels only light the portion of the display that’s needed. Apart from the fingerprint reader, the poster shows that there is no notch on the top. Does this mean that it could come with a fullview display and a pop-up selfie camera like Xiaomi Mi 9T or OnePlus 7 Pro? We’ll investigate and post any new information that comes up.

Of course, there is no launch date available right now nor is the price. It is speculated that UMIDIGI would reveal the new device in early August. Apple is going to launch its next-generation iPhone, which is likely to be named iPhone XI and iPhone XI Max, in September. Now, ahead of the launch of these upcoming smartphones, their cases are up for sale.

Online retailer Giztop has listed two cases — one for each of the upcoming iPhone model. The cases, named Zeaplus Shield Protective Case For iPhone XI (2019) and Zeaplus Shield Protective Case For iPhone XI Max (2019), are listed for $7.99.

The cover for the devices listed online shows a square cutout in the top-left corner at the back panel and power button as well as volume rocker on the left side. At the bottom, there’s a cutout for charging connector.

Also, the case cover confirms that the smartphone will come with a square module on the top-left corner that will house the multiple camera sensors as well as the LED flash. As expected, both smartphones will come with the same design.

Since the current-generation iPhone already has a dual camera setup, the company is planning to add yet another camera sensor in the setup and thus, the square-shaped camera housing design will be adopted for housing three camera sensors.

There is still a bit of waiting before Apple announces its next-generation iPhones. Just like last year, we are getting three iPhones this year – the iPhone XI, the iPhone XI Max, and the affordable iPhone XIR. Yeah! We agree Apple should ditch the roman numerals.

We already know what all three phones will look like, thanks to 3D CAD images from the trusted leaker – Steve Hemmerstoffer a.k.a. OnLeaks. The main change will be on the rear where all three devices will sport a hideous square-shaped camera housing. The iPhone XI and iPhone XI Max will both add an extra camera for a triple camera setup. The iPhone XIR will also get an extra sensor for a dual camera setup.

If you don’t like the design, there is nothing you can do as we have gotten our hands on live images of the phones’ cases and they confirm Apple will indeed be going with the design.

The images which were provided by an industry source show the cases for all three phones. Other than the size, there isn’t any difference between the phone cases.

The cases have a kevlar-like appearance and should provide a good grip. The square-shaped camera cut-out is at the top left corner. There is a power button on the right while the volume rocker and a cut-out for the sleep key are on the left. The bottom is home to cut-outs for the charging port, the speaker, and the microphone.

As is the tradition with most iPhones, the new iPhones will most likely arrive in September which means we still have over three months of waiting. We believe some folks may decide to skip this year’s new models because of the design and hope Apple adopts a better design for 2020’s models.

Rumors have it that the successor of the Apple iPhone XS could be called iPhone XI. Fresh renders of the upcoming iPhone XI have been released by @OnLeaks in collaboration with an Indian publication. The renders reveal that it could be the first triple camera smartphone from the company.

The Apple iPhone XI renders reveal that it features a huge bump for the square-shaped camera module placed on the top-left corner of its back panel. The camera module houses three camera sensors and a large-sized LED flash. The arrangement of the camera sensors is quite weird, and the huge bump makes it look uglier. There is no information available on the configurations of the camera sensors of the iPhone XI.

The publication claims that these are the final CAD renders of the iPhone XI. Like the predecessor model, the iPhone XI is expected to come equipped with a 5.8-inch. The front view of the phone reveals that the Cupertino company will not be reducing the size of the notch on 2019 iPhones. However, it is speculated that the iPhone XI and the other upcoming iPhones will be coming with slightly reduced notch and bezels. The notch of the iPhone XI seems to be equipped with complex sensors required Face ID.

The smartphone has a new and unique back made out of single piece of glass. The handset measures 143.9 x 71.4 x 7.8mm. The thickness of the device increases to 9mm at the camera bump. The renders further reveal that Apple has slightly repositioned the rear microphone on the iPhone XI. There is a slight change in the mute button too. It now looks like the mute button found on iPad devices. The handset is equipped with a Lightning port and there is no 3.5mm audio jack on it.

In September, Apple is expected to announce the successors for the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR. The iPhone XI Max may sport the same design as the iPhone XI. Both phones may also feature similar technical specs, but the iPhone XI Max will be arriving with a larger display and a bigger battery.

Apple’s next-generation iPhone models are still a long time away. The 2018 models are still fresh in the market and the company will most likely keep to its launch schedule meaning the 2019 iPhones won’t drop until several months from now. Despite that, we continue to see leaks purported to be for iPhone XI (2019). A fresh render of the iPhone XI has no appeared online but you should take it with a pinch of salt.

The latest leaked render also tag along some of the key specifications of the device. The iPhone XI is expected to feature a  5.8-inch OLED screen with Super Retina HD just like the iPhone XI. The leak even features the dimensions of the device and it is given as  5.65″ (h) x 2.79″ (w) x 0.30″ (d). As with the iPhone 8 and others, the iPhone XI will feature an IP68-certified waterproof/dustproof body. The renders also seem to confirm that the iPhone XI will feature a triple rear camera setup.

Perhaps, the most interesting listing is the 4000mAh battery the device is said to pack. Apple iPhones have always featured smaller batteries so a 4000mAh cell is awesome. The device will even feature a USB Type-C port. The device won’t come with 5G support, going by the leak. Finally, it will be available in four cool colours- Silver, Gold, Space Grey & Blue.
