<p>Meizu announced a number of smartphones lately, like<a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/06/30/meizu-mx5-finally-official-mt6795-fast-charge-1799-yuan-price-tag/"> the Meizu MX5</a>,<a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/07/18/meizu-m2-note-review-one-of-the-best-budget-smartphones-today/"> Meizu M2 Note</a> and <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/07/31/the-meizu-m2-and-m1-compared-what-has-changed/">Meizu M2</a>. However, not one of them came with the new Flyme 5.0 OS which made us wonder, when was the company going to release it in the market. However, Meizu&#8217;s Chief architect of Flyme divison, Yang Yan just revealed a lot many details about the upcoming Flyme 5.0 UI, along with a bunch of screenshots.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/flyme-5-01.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-55897" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/flyme-5-01.jpg?x10805" alt="flyme 5 01" width="440" height="782" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/flyme-5-01.jpg 440w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/flyme-5-01-169x300.jpg 169w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/flyme-5-01-236x420.jpg 236w" sizes="(max-width: 440px) 100vw, 440px" /></a></p>
<p>First of all, the Flyme 5.0 will soon enter beta stage which means the final version launch is very near. Yang states that we can expect the new Flyme version to roll out around the end of September or early October. Along with this, he also adds that Meizu MX5 will be the first smartphone to receive the update. Not surprising, given that the MX5 is the latest flagship from the company. After that, the Flyme 5.0 update will slowly roll out to other recent smartphones. Unfortunately, he didn&#8217;t mention the specific models which are going to get the update for sure.</p>
<p>You can check out the screenshots from down below. The overall design looks a little more refined, but it does feel like the continuation from Flyme 4.5. We have heard a lot many complaints from readers about bugs on the Flyme OS, and hopefully all of them are solved in the new Flyme 5.0.</p>
<p>Have a look at the screenshots below and let us know what you feel.</p>

Xiaomi Redmi 2, Meizu M1 &amp; Honor 4A have all proved this point. But now, it looks like companies are ready to take things to the next level in this segment. We have already seen how much value the<a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/03/31/the-cheapest-xiaomi-redmi-2a-smartphone-is-official-costs-just-599-yuan/"> Redmi 2A </a>brings to the tablet at just 599 Yuan ($96), and now Meizu is taking things to another level, with its newly announced <strong>Meizu M2.</strong></p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/CLEQsw1WIAANepM.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-54972" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/CLEQsw1WIAANepM.png?x10805" alt="CLEQsw1WIAANepM" width="599" height="255" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/CLEQsw1WIAANepM.png 599w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/CLEQsw1WIAANepM-300x128.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 599px) 100vw, 599px" /></a></p>
<p>The Meizu M2 comes in a beautiful <strong>polycarbonate body</strong> that&#8217;s inspired from the iPhone 5C. The Blue Charm series does focus on the appearance, and all of the smartphones in the range have been good looking with the M2 being no exception.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/CLEOMAcXAAAdDzf.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-54973" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/CLEOMAcXAAAdDzf.png?x10805" alt="CLEOMAcXAAAdDzf" width="598" height="252" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/CLEOMAcXAAAdDzf.png 598w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/CLEOMAcXAAAdDzf-300x126.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 598px) 100vw, 598px" /></a></p>
<p>As for the specs, the Meizu M2 comes with the<em><span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong> quad-core MT6735</strong> </span></em>under the hood clocked at<strong><em><span style="color: #ff0000;"> 1.3GHz</span></em></strong>. Its a decent processor with support for additional network connectivity bands in China. You can&#8217;t really ask for more performance at this price. Usually, 599 Yuan smartphones come with just 1GB of RAM. But Meizu M2 has taken things to a whole new level by featuring <strong><em><span style="color: #ff0000;">2GB of RAM inside</span></em></strong>. This makes it <strong>one of the cheapest 2GB RAM phones in the market right now.</strong></p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/CLELmhvWUAAuVnz.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-54975" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/CLELmhvWUAAuVnz.png?x10805" alt="CLELmhvWUAAuVnz" width="600" height="258" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/CLELmhvWUAAuVnz.png 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/CLELmhvWUAAuVnz-300x129.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Another surprise is the<strong><em><span style="color: #ff0000;"> 16GB of eMMC 5.0 storage</span></em></strong> on board which is further <em><span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>expandable up to 128GB via MicroSD</strong></span></em>. The company went with the now standard <strong><em><span style="color: #ff0000;">MicroSD + Dual SIM combo slot</span></em></strong>. Here, both the SIM slots support 4G LTE connectivity, but if you feel you need some extra storage, you can <strong>swap one of these SIMs for a MicroSD card</strong>. There&#8217;s also <strong><em><span style="color: #ff0000;">2500mAh battery</span></em></strong> on board which is enough for lasting a whole day.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/CLEJDokW8AAN-8g.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-54976" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/CLEJDokW8AAN-8g.png?x10805" alt="CLEJDokW8AAN-8g" width="599" height="255" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/CLEJDokW8AAN-8g.png 599w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/CLEJDokW8AAN-8g-300x128.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 599px) 100vw, 599px" /></a></p>
<p>The screen is of <strong><em><span style="color: #ff0000;">5.5-inches, with 720p</span></em></strong> resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio. This has become quite the standard among budget devices. However, the phone supports<strong><em><span style="color: #ff0000;"> 5G Wi-Fi</span></em></strong> which makes is a unique feature among its class. The M2 comes with the company&#8217;s own <strong><em><span style="color: #ff0000;">Flyme 4.5 UI based on Android 5.1</span></em></strong> Lollipop version.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/CLEWMAxUEAAvj7j.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-54977" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/CLEWMAxUEAAvj7j.png?x10805" alt="CLEWMAxUEAAvj7j" width="599" height="255" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/CLEWMAxUEAAvj7j.png 599w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/CLEWMAxUEAAvj7j-300x128.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 599px) 100vw, 599px" /></a></p>
<p>As for the camera, the Meizu M2 sports a <strong><em><span style="color: #ff0000;">13MP f/2.0</span></em></strong> aperture shooter at the back with LED flash. Up front, you get a<em><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;"> 5MP camera sensor with f/2.0</span></strong></em> and a<strong><em> special beauty mode</em></strong>, ideal for selfies.</p>
<p>The best part of the device is its pricing. Meizu has aggressively price the Meizu M2 at just <strong><em><span style="color: #ff0000;">599 Yuan ($96)</span></em></strong>. This is an amazing price for a device with a quad-core chip, 2GB RAM, 16GB of storage and 5G Wi-Fi support.</p>
<p>Things are really getting competitive in the budget segment. Meizu has really managed to impress us with the new Meizu M2 budget offering. Its<strong> better than Redmi 2 in almost every aspect,</strong> and even cheaper. Even with the recent price cut of the Redmi 2 to 599 Yuan, the Meizu M2 offers better value for money.</p>

The company has <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/07/03/first-half-2015-sales-performance-huawei-vs-xiaomi-vs-meizu/">already managed to boost its sales as compared to last yea</a>r. Within six months, Meizu updated its Meizu M1 Note lineup with a brand new <strong><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/07/18/meizu-m2-note-review-one-of-the-best-budget-smartphones-today/">Meizu M2 Note</a>.</strong> Now, the company is all set to unveil another device in the series, the successor to the Meizu M1, which will be called as the <strong>Meizu M2</strong>.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-invite-02.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-53502" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-invite-02.jpg?x10805" alt="meizu m2 invite 02" width="592" height="800" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-invite-02.jpg 592w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-invite-02-222x300.jpg 222w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-invite-02-311x420.jpg 311w" sizes="(max-width: 592px) 100vw, 592px" /></a></p>
<p>Meizu has been trying to market its Blue Charm series models as a low cost alternative for the masses. The company even went ahead and compared the upcoming Meizu M2 with the best selling Nokia 1110. So, we expected the pricing to be quite aggressively, if it had to live up to its claims.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-price-leak.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-54792" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-price-leak.jpg?x10805" alt="meizu m2 price leak" width="728" height="407" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-price-leak.jpg 728w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-price-leak-300x168.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-price-leak-640x358.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-price-leak-681x381.jpg 681w" sizes="(max-width: 728px) 100vw, 728px" /></a></p>
<p>Now, thanks to a new listing in China, we have some idea about the Meizu M2&#8217;s price tag. The listing reveals that the Meizu M2 will be available for sale for just 599 Yuan ($96). That&#8217;s a pretty good price for a device that is expected to come with MT6735 quad-core chip, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and 2500mAh battery.</p>
<p>It looks like Meizu is all ready to take on the best sellers in the sub-600Yuan market, like the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/07/23/xiaomi-sold-over-5-1-million-redmi-2a-units-in-the-first-three-months/">Redmi 2A</a> and <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/07/21/huawei-officially-launches-the-honor-4a-budget-smartphone/">Honor 4A</a>. We just have to wait for the company to confirm these details, which shouldn&#8217;t take long,<a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/07/15/meizu-m2-launch-invite-comes-with-nokia-1110-inside/"> since the event is tomorrow</a>!</p>

Given the timing and the way it was written, we thought the company was going to announce some kind of partnership with the Finnish company, Nokia.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-invite-02.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-53502" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-invite-02.jpg?x10805" alt="meizu m2 invite 02" width="592" height="800" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-invite-02.jpg 592w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-invite-02-222x300.jpg 222w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-invite-02-311x420.jpg 311w" sizes="(max-width: 592px) 100vw, 592px" /></a></p>
<p>But it looks like, the company was trying to say something about its new smartphone launch, which will take place at an event on July 29. Earlier today, the company sent out invites for the event and inside each invite was the mighty Nokia 1110 phone.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-invite-01.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-53503" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-invite-01.jpg?x10805" alt="meizu m2 invite 01" width="600" height="800" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-invite-01.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-invite-01-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-invite-01-315x420.jpg 315w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>It looks like Meizu is trying to tell its fans that the new <strong>Meizu M2</strong> will be a classic device like the 1110. This Nokia phone sold in plenty, thanks to its super cheap pricing and this is probably why it sent out Nokia 1110 inside its invites. Well, we expect the pricing to be cheap, around 599 Yuan, to directly compete with the Redmi 2A. Also, note that on starting up the Nokia 1110, you will see the date 7.29 but you won&#8217;t be able to make calls or messages with the device.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-invite.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-53501" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-invite.jpg?x10805" alt="meizu m2 invite" width="592" height="800" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-invite.jpg 592w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-invite-222x300.jpg 222w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-invite-311x420.jpg 311w" sizes="(max-width: 592px) 100vw, 592px" /></a></p>
<p>As for the specs, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/06/18/meizu-m2-passes-tenaa-features-mt6735-2gb-ram/">Meizu M2 had hit TENAA recently</a>. It came with MT6735 quad-core chip clocked at 1.3GHz, 2GB RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, 5-inch 720p display and a 13MP camera. The phone had a 2450mAh battery on board. As compared to the first generation Meizu M1, the new model would upgrade in areas like RAM, Storage and CPU.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/meizu-m2-invite-03.jpg?x10805"><br />
</a> <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/blue-charm-invite.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-53509" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/blue-charm-invite.jpg?x10805" alt="blue charm invite" width="440" height="691" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/blue-charm-invite.jpg 440w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/blue-charm-invite-191x300.jpg 191w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/blue-charm-invite-267x420.jpg 267w" sizes="(max-width: 440px) 100vw, 440px" /></a></p>
<p>Well, according to the latest teaser, you can expect to see this launch on July 29. Stay tuned for more details.</p>

The company seems to be unveiling brand new Blue Charm devices every six months. Earlier this month, we saw Meizu release the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/06/02/meizu-m2-note-is-official-with-mt6753-sd-card-slot-and-cheaper-pricetag/">Meizu M2 Note</a> and today, we have come across a TENAA listing of the Meizu M2 hinting that the launch might be near.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/m2-note-02.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-50895" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/m2-note-02.jpg?x10805" alt="m2 02" width="480" height="640" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/m2-note-02.jpg 480w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/m2-note-02-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/m2-note-02-315x420.jpg 315w" sizes="(max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px" /></a></p>
<p>The listing reveals that Meizu M2 will feature a 5-inch 720p display with MT6735 quad-core 64-bit chipset. The highlight of this chip is its full network connectivity support. There will be 2GB RAM on board, which is another welcome move for an entry level device. As for the cameras, there will be a 13MP shooter at the back, along with a 5MP front facing one. The battery is also pretty decent, and is of 2700mAh capacity. Finally, the phone supports dual SIM dual standby with 4G LTE and will run on Android 5.0.1 Lollipop version right out of the box.</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The overall design looks a lot like the M2 Note, just a bit smaller. You can even see the physical home button below the display as well as the power button on the right.</p>
<p>We still don&#8217;t know the pricing of the handset, but it should be somewhere around 599 Yuan, to compete directly with<a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/03/31/the-cheapest-xiaomi-redmi-2a-smartphone-is-official-costs-just-599-yuan/"> Xiaomi&#8217;s Redmi 2A</a>. Meizu has an event later this month, on June 30. We could either <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/06/16/meizu-might-release-the-mx5-flagship-the-same-day-as-huaweis-honor-7/">see the new Meizu M2 or the new top-end flagship for 2015</a>, Meizu MX5.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, it could be any of the two, so its best to wait and see what the company has in store for us at the event.</p>

</a>Earlier this month, Meizu unveiled its latest smartphone in the Blue Charm lineup, the Meizu M2 Note. However, from the leaks that we are seeing in the past few days, it looks like the company will announce the successor to the Meizu M1 too pretty soon.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/meizu-m2.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-50396" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/meizu-m2-1024x640.jpg?x10805" alt="meizu-m2" width="800" height="500" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/meizu-m2-1024x640.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/meizu-m2-300x188.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/meizu-m2-672x420.jpg 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/meizu-m2-640x400.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/meizu-m2-681x426.jpg 681w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/meizu-m2.jpg 1612w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></a></p>
<p>We have already come across several pictures showing off the rear cover of the new generation Meizu M2. Today, we have spotted the M2 smartphone in a benchmark test, which reveals almost everything about the phone&#8217;s specifications.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Meizu-M2-01.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-50538" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Meizu-M2-01.jpg?x10805" alt="Meizu M2 01" width="440" height="593" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Meizu-M2-01.jpg 440w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Meizu-M2-01-223x300.jpg 223w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/Meizu-M2-01-312x420.jpg 312w" sizes="(max-width: 440px) 100vw, 440px" /></a></p>
<p>The benchmark result reveals that the phone will come with MT6735 quad-core 64-bit processor. In a previous report, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/04/20/mediatek-mt6735-specs-leaked-faster-than-qualcomm-snapdragon-410/" target="_blank">we had seen that this chipset performed better than Snapdragon 410</a>, however, it should be a bit slower than MT6732. Also, the chip uses Mali-T720 GPU instead of a much more powerful Mali-T760 (found on the M1). But for the slightly lower performance, this chip boasts of full network connectivity, supporting even CDMA networks.</p>
<p>Other specs include a 5-inch 720p display, instead of 1280x 768 pixel resolution display on the Meizu M1. There will be 2GB of RAM on board along with 13MP rear camera and 5MP front facing shooter.</p>
<p>Overall, apart from the full network connectivity and 2GB, the Meizu M2 doesn&#8217;t have much to be called as a successor. The company could offer the phone for the same price tag (699 Yuan), or even at a cheaper price, like it did with the Meizu M2 Note. But as of now, we have not received any official information from the company.</p>
<p>Anyways, since the leaks are coming in fast, we expect a launch pretty soon. So, stay tuned.</p>

However, it looks like the company may have another smartphone in the works in the same lineup.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/meizu-m2.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-50396" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/meizu-m2-1024x640.jpg?x10805" alt="meizu-m2" width="800" height="500" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/meizu-m2-1024x640.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/meizu-m2-300x188.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/meizu-m2-672x420.jpg 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/meizu-m2-640x400.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/meizu-m2-681x426.jpg 681w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/meizu-m2.jpg 1612w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></a></p>
<p>A recent leak revealed a plastic back cover of an upcoming smartphone, featuring a single LED flash and a round camera unit. The back surface is glossy plastic similar to the texture seen on earlier released Blue Charm devices.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/meizu-m2-note1.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-50397" src="http://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/meizu-m2-note1.jpg?x10805" alt="meizu-m2-note" width="621" height="607" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/meizu-m2-note1.jpg 621w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/meizu-m2-note1-300x293.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/meizu-m2-note1-430x420.jpg 430w" sizes="(max-width: 621px) 100vw, 621px" /></a></p>
<p>Back in May, we had spotted a device with the<a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/2015/05/28/meizu-m1-note-2-leaked-again-oval-shaped-physical-home-button-spotted/" target="_blank"> model name Meizu M2 Note on GFXBench</a>. However, one interesting information revealed by the benchmarking site was that the device featured a 4.6-inch full HD display. The M2 Note that was announced earlier last week came with a larger 5.5-inch screen which meant that this could be a different device. In fact, it may be the same device of which the pictures have been leaked today.</p>
<p>According to the listing, the phone came with a MT6753 octa-core 64-bit chip along with 2GB RAM and 32GB of storage. There was a 13MP rear camera along with an 8MP front facing shooter. As for the software, the phone ran Android 5.1 Lollipop version.</p>
<p>So, this model could sit comfortably between the M2 Note and the Meizu M1. It could be priced somewhere around 599 Yuan, but this is just a guess and its still not confirmed as of now.</p>
<p>If there is indeed a new Blue Charm device in development, we expect more information pretty soon.</p>
