<p>Ever since becoming an independent brand, the company has been actively trying to regain the lost market share and expand its footprints. Now, at the sidelines of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/honor-60">Honor 60 series</a> launch, the company&#8217;s CEO <a href="https://news.mydrivers.com/1/799/799990.htm">shared some key details</a> related to the company.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-427463 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-1.jpg?x44794" alt="Honor 60 series hands-on" width="1625" height="1080" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-1.jpg 1625w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-1-300x199.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-1-768x510.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-1-1024x681.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-1-696x463.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-1-1068x710.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/Honor-60-series-hands-on-1-632x420.jpg 632w" sizes="(max-width: 1625px) 100vw, 1625px" /></p>
<p>Honor CEO <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/zhao-ming">Zhao Ming</a> has revealed that the company now has an offline presence in more than 30,000 locations, which includes official retail stores, special zones, counters, and authorized experience stores.</p>
<p>Not just that, he has also revealed that the company is getting almost 70 percent of its total sales from these offline stores. This is quite an interesting development given that Honor mostly positions its devices in the mid-range segment and it <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/07/02/george-zhao-honor-was-the-largest-online-brand-in-h1-2020-in-china/">was the leading company for online sales</a> in China under Huawei.</p>
<p>Zhao Ming has said that the company is now planning to increase the speed at which Honor retail stores are being built. In the month of October and November this year, the company added over 2,000 more offline stores to its tally and the number is still growing.</p>
<p>During its peak, Honor-branded smartphones accounted for about 16.7 percent of the market share in China. However, it fell to about 3 percent in the first quarter of 2021, just as <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/17/huawei-sells-honor-subsidiary-to-zhixin-new-information-technology-co-ltd/">the company split from Huawei</a>.</p>
<p>But the company has rapidly regained the lost market share. The brand has now become a part of the top three smartphone manufacturers in China with a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/market-share">market share</a> of 14.6 percent. Not just China, Honor has also resumed business operations in about 50 countries around the world and is now focusing on recovering the lost market share.</p>

The companies will apparently expand their presence in their region by having their offerings sold through offline stores in early 2022.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-422055 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/2-7.jpg?x44794" alt="vivo iQOO Z5x" width="500" height="500" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/2-7.jpg 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/2-7-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/2-7-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/2-7-420x420.jpg 420w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></p>
<p>According to a <a href="https://www.91mobiles.com/hub/iqoo-poco-entering-offline-market-q1-2022-exclusive/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><em>91Mobiles</em> </a>report, known tipster has revealed that the two Chinese brands are planning to finally enter the offline market in India. For those unaware, the Indian smartphone market relies on two major channels, which is offline and online. While the online channels dominate in major cities via <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/flipkart/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Flipkart</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/amazon/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Amazon</a>, the offline segment is still a largely popular in tier 2 and tier 3 cities. This is also the segment where brands like <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/samsung/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Samsung</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/vivo/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Vivo</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oppo/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Oppo</a>, and even <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Xiaomi</a> hold a strong presence in, with their budget offerings.</p>
<p>As of right now, iQOO and POCO have sold their handsets through online channel, but this might soon change. Reportedly, the companies are expected to launch their devices offline sometime between the months of January to March 2022. This move arrives as no surprise since these companies are also sub brands of established giants (iQOO-Vivo &amp; Xiaomi-POCO) in the market.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, finer details about the roll out of devices in the offline channels is currently unknown. But the brands are expected to first begin entering this segment in tier 1 cities first, before moving forward and expanding to other regions within the country. Keep in mind that this is still an unconfirmed report so take it with a pinch of salt for now and stay tuned for more updates.</p>

Ltd in November last year.</p>
<p>The company has been focusing on increasing its footprint in the offline market and in line with that, Honor <a href="https://www.ithome.com/0/578/201.htm">is now set to open</a> around 300 new Honor Experience Stores in China in the first week of October, i.e. between 1st October and 7th October.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-406011 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Honor-Store.jpg?x44794" alt="Honor Store" width="960" height="679" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Honor-Store.jpg 960w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Honor-Store-300x212.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Honor-Store-768x543.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Honor-Store-100x70.jpg 100w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Honor-Store-696x492.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/Honor-Store-594x420.jpg 594w" sizes="(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px" /></p>
<p>At these new stores, customers will be able to experience the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/08/20/honor-magic3-series-goes-on-sale-in-china/">Honor Magic3 series</a> flagship smartphone as well as the new multi-camera fusion computing photography technology that was launched a few days ago. However, this will be limited to select premium stores in Suzhou, Chengdu, Shanghai, and Changsha.</p>
<p>After becoming independent, the company <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/17/huawei-delists-all-honor-products-on-vmall-as-honor-mall-goes-live/">launched its own online store</a> in January this year, named Honor Mall for selling smartphones, tablets, smart displays, notebooks, earphones, and smartwatches, among others.</p>
<p>The company is also focusing on offline stores as well and is in the process of establishing thousands of new brick-and-mortar stores across the world. As of August 2021, Honor&#8217;s Experience Stores have increased by 68 percent compared to stores the company had at the beginning of this year.</p>
<p>Last month, George Zhao, CEO of Honor, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/08/13/honor-offline-sales-70-percent-china/">revealed</a> that the offline sales for the company accounted for more than 70 percent of its overall sale. This is interesting as Honor mostly positions its devices in the mid-range segment and under Huawei, it <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/07/02/george-zhao-honor-was-the-largest-online-brand-in-h1-2020-in-china/">was the leading company for online sales</a> in China.</p>
<p>Honor has now returned to the top three list of smartphone manufacturers in its home country China, with a market share of 14.6 percent. Not just China, Honor has also resumed <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/business">business</a> operations in about 50 countries around the world and is now focusing on recovering the lost market share.</p>
