However, when it debuted in India, it was positioned higher than the X9, which was a bit surprising. Finally, the brand restructured the X9’s price in India, and it now costs more than the X9s.

Oppo Find X9 price revised in India

Oppo has reportedly increased the pricing of the Find X9 in India by Rs 10,000 across both storage variants. According to details shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav on X, retailers have already started receiving updated pricing information, while some retail platforms have also begun reflecting the revised rates online.

The 12GB+256GB variant is now said to cost Rs 84,999 instead of Rs 74,999. Similarly, the 16GB+512GB edition has reportedly moved from Rs 84,999 to Rs 94,999. In comparison, the 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB versions of the Find X9s are priced at Rs 79,999 and Rs 89,999, respectively.

It should be noted that the Find X9 is currently available for Oppo’s online store, Flipkart, Amazon, and other retailer sites. So, the price hike could be in the offline market, and it may take some time to reflect online. If the X9 is still available at a store with its original pricing, it would be the best time to purchase it.

The move changes the positioning of the Find X9 in Oppo’s flagship lineup. Oppo will unveil the new X9 series of flagship phones on April 21. While the Chinese market will get the Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s Pro, the brand is expected to announce the Ultra edition as well as the Oppo Find X9s for the global market. It is already known that the Find X9 Ultra and X9s Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Dimensity 9500 chipsets, respectively. Now, in a new development, the Find X9s has appeared on Geekbench, confirming its chipset for the first time.

Oppo Find X9s Geekbench listing

The above screenshots show that an Oppo phone with model number CPH2873 has surfaced in Geekbench’s database. As per recent certification sightings, this device will debut with the Oppo Find X9s moniker in the market. The listing reveals that it is powered by a MediaTek chip, along with 12GB of RAM and Android 16.

The chip includes a prime CPU core clocked at 3.73GHz, three cores running at 3.30GHz, and four cores operating at 2.40GHz. For graphics, it features the Mali-G925-Immortalis MC12 GPU.

These details suggest that the X9s is powered by the Dimensity 9500s. It scored 2,571 and 7,881 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.

This does not come as a surprise because MediaTek had already unveiled the Dimensity 9500s and confirmed that the Find X9s would be equipped with it. The only other phone that features this chip is the Poco X8 Pro Max, which debuted last month.

Since the Find X9s is powered by the Dimensity 9500s, a toned-down version of the existing Dimensity 9500, it is likely to be positioned below the existing Find X9.

In terms of other specs, the Find X9s has a 6.59-inch OLED panel with ultra-thin 1.1mm bezels on all four sides. It will offer a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will house a 7,025mAh battery with 80W wired charging, but may lack wireless charging.

The X9s will feature a 32-megapixel front camera. On the back, it will include a 50-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (Samsung JN5 or Sony LYT-700). It will arrive in 12GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB variants and will be available in shades like orange, purple, and titanium.

This also indicates a split strategy. The Find X9s Pro, which is expected to feature dual 200MP cameras, may remain limited to China. Global markets are likely to get the Find X9s instead, which comes with a different camera setup.

OPPO has shared a teaser showing the Find X9s in orange, light purple, and dark grey or black. The phone carries a square camera module similar to other models in the series, but without the extended camera design seen on the Pro variant.

On the front, the Find X9s is expected to use a flat display with 1.15mm bezels. Both the Find X9s and the Pro model are likely using LIPO packaging, which helps reduce bezel thickness and gives the screen a more edge-to-edge look.

Both model numbers have previously appeared on Indonesia’s TKDN and SDPPI certification platforms. The Find X9s was also approved by India’s BIS authority back in January.

The Find X9 Ultra is expected to deliver an ultimate photography experience and rival the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and the upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra. This Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset-powered phone is expected to pack a quad-camera setup featuring a 200-megapixel Sony LYT-901 main camera, a 200-megapixel OmniVision OV52A periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 ultra-wide camera with a 15mm focal length.

The X9 Ultra is also expected to house a 6.82-inch OLED 2K 120Hz screen and a battery of around 7,000mAh capacity. It is expected to support 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The Find X9s could be a toned-down version of the existing Find X9. It will be one of the early adopters of the Dimensity 9500s chip and is likely to lack wireless charging. It is also said to include a 3.5x periscope telephoto lens using a 200-megapixel Samsung HPB sensor, along with what is described as the strongest ultra-wide camera in the smartphone industry.

Interestingly, both Ultra editions are also said to be heading to the global market in the coming months. The Find X9s is the name of the Dimensity 9500s-powered Oppo phone set to hit the Indian market. However, the company did not confirm anything else about this phone.

The chip also integrates a powerful NPU designed for generative AI tasks, advanced imaging capabilities including 8K Dolby Vision recording, and next-generation connectivity features such as Release-17 5G and improved Wi-Fi range.

Oppo Find X9 Ultra, Find X9s, Find X9s Pro bag fresh certifications

The Oppo PMA110 phone, which is believed to be the Find X9 Ultra, has received SRRC certification. For those who are unaware, it is a mandatory certification issued by China’s radio regulatory authority to approve wireless devices that use radio frequencies. It confirms that a device complies with China’s spectrum regulations, covering features like cellular connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and other radio transmission functions before commercial sale. After this, the Find X9 Ultra is expected to bag 3C and TENAA certifications before going official.

The PMA110 model is also listed with the PMA120 variant in the UFCS database. The PMA120 will support satellite connectivity. For those unfamiliar, UFCS is a unified fast-charging standard developed mainly by Chinese manufacturers (including OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi, Huawei, and others). Its goal is to create a cross-brand fast charging protocol so chargers and devices from different brands can safely deliver fast charging without proprietary restrictions.

Earlier this week, the PME110 Oppo phone was approved by SRRC. Now, the authority has also certified PHM110. These devices are said to be part of the Find X9s series, which may include two devices: the Find X9s and Find X9s Pro. At present, it is not clear which model numbers correspond to which device.

The PHM110 variant has also bagged UFCS certification, which suggests that it could be the Find X9s Pro, whereas the PME110 without UFCS certification could be the Find X9s. It is advisable to wait for further reports to confirm their final monikers.

The Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s series phones are expected to debut together through a launch event in March in China. It is unclear whether the Oppo Find N6 will be announced at the same platform or separately.

What’s interesting here is the fact that even the Find X9 Pro does not have a pair of 200MP lenses. And mind you, this is a big-screen flagship. Rounding out the camera setup on Find X9s is a 50MP ultra-wide camera. 

Oppo is also expected to include its Danxia color reproduction system, along with a multispectral sensor to improve color accuracy and skin tones.

Despite its relatively compact size, the Find X9s could pack a battery rated at around 7,000mAh, which is notable for a 6.3-inch phone. Wireless charging is also mentioned, along with a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, full water resistance, and other standard flagship features.

Some of the trends expected to be seen on phones this year include improved AI experiences, larger silicon-carbon batteries—with some brands already launching 10,000mAh and 9,000mAh battery phones—higher refresh rate displays, with some even expected to exceed the 200Hz mark, and more. One trend that is expected to be widely adopted by different smartphone brands is the 200-megapixel camera, with some even rumoured to offer dual 200-megapixel cameras.

Knowing the current 200MP sensors

There are a couple of existing and upcoming 200MP sensors, which include:

Samsung ISOCELL HP5

Launched in October 2025, the Samsung ISOCELL HP5 200-megapixel sensor has been made available on mid-range, mid-premium, and flagship phones since the latter half of 2025. On mid-tier phones like the Vivo V60e or performance-focused flagships like the iQOO Z11 Turbo, this 200-megapixel sensor is coupled with an ultra-wide camera. On mid-premium phones and flagships, it is paired with more powerful ultra-wide and telephoto cameras.

Samsung HPB (Custom Samsung ISOCELL HP9 variant)

The Samsung HPB is Vivo’s customized version of the existing Samsung ISOCELL HP9 sensor, which was launched in 2024. The Vivo X300 and X300 Pro are the only phones to feature this sensor so far. In the future as well, it is expected to remain exclusive to Vivo smartphones.

There are Samsung HP3 and HP2 200-megapixel cameras as well, but those are not expected to be widely used in 2026.

OmniVision OV52A

The upcoming OmniVision OV52A 200-megapixel camera sensor, which is reportedly built on a 40nm process, is a 1/2.8-inch sensor. Since it does not use AON (Alternating Optical Array), it is said to consume less power than the flagship-grade 50-megapixel OV50Q sensor. The OV52A is expected to appear on mid-range and even higher-end phones in 2026.

Sony LYT-901

Sony has already launched the Sony LYT-901 sensor, and it is expected to be seen on premium flagships this year. It is a 1/1.12-inch 200-megapixel stacked CMOS smartphone image sensor with 0.7µm pixels, Quad-Quad Bayer Coding, on-sensor AI remosaicing, all-pixel AF, and up to 4× in-sensor zoom.

The Samsung HPB is available as the primary sensor on the Vivo X300, whereas the X300 Pro uses it for its periscope telephoto camera.

The recently unveiled iQOO Z11 Turbo is also equipped with the Samsung HP5 200-megapixel camera.

Oppo

The Oppo Find X9 Pro is equipped with a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 periscope telephoto camera in its triple camera setup.

The Oppo Reno 15 series, including the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro, which have debuted, are also equipped with the same sensor.

Globally, the Reno 15 Pro / Reno 15 Pro Mini / Reno 15 Pro Max, which are the same phones with different branding for different markets, feature a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 sensor. The global version of the Reno 15 also uses the same sensor.

Realme

The Realme GT 8 Pro is equipped with the Samsung HP5 as the primary sensor. This sensor is also available as the primary camera on the Realme 16 Pro and 16 Pro+.

Honor

The Honor Magic 8 Pro flagship phone features the Samsung HP9. The Honor 500 and 500 Pro, which are currently available only in China, feature the Samsung HP3 200-megapixel camera sensor.

Samsung

The Galaxy Z TriFold, which is Samsung’s first tri-foldable phone, features the Samsung HP2 200-megapixel camera sensor.

Xiaomi

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Redmi Note 15 Pro (global), and Redmi Note 15 Pro+ (global) are equipped with the 200-megapixel Samsung HPE sensor, which is reportedly based on the Samsung HP3. The Redmi Note 15 Pro series’ Chinese editions feature a 50-megapixel main camera.

These phones are expected to debut in March in China. The Find N6 and Find X9 Ultra are also poised to launch globally soon after.

Vivo

Apart from the Oppo Find N6, the Vivo X300 Ultra is another flagship phone expected to feature dual 200-megapixel cameras powered by the Sony LYT-901 and Samsung HPB sensors.

The Vivo X300s, which may launch alongside the Ultra variant, may feature a 200-megapixel Samsung HPB sensor.

Both phones are rumored to launch around March or April this year in China. The X300s may remain China-exclusive for some time, while the X300 Ultra may debut globally soon after.

Honor

The Honor Magic V6 foldable phone is also expected to feature a 200-megapixel camera. It will be showcased at MWC 2026.

Samsung

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, expected to launch by the end of February, and the Galaxy Z Fold 8, which may debut by mid-2026, are also expected to feature 200-megapixel primary cameras, similar to their previous generations.

Oppo Find X9s Rumored Specifications & Indian Release Timeline

Earlier this week, a big leak from a Chinese tipster confirmed some key hardware details of the Find X9s, and now an Indian tipster has revealed more details of the upcoming Find X9s. In a recent tweet, Debayan Roy (Gadgetsdata) claimed that the Oppo Find X9s with a 6.3-inch LTPS OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, this model may be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9500+ SoC and house a gigantic 7,000mAh battery pack. For photography, the rear will reportedly have a triple camera setup that consists of a 200MP primary sensor, a 200MP periscope telephoto shooter, and a 50MP ultra wide angle lens. Other notable features includes an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance, a metal frame, and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

Most of these features are in line with our previous report. But while initial reports gave us the details for the Chinese release, the Indian tipster claims that the Oppo Find X9s will also debut in March 2026. Unfortunately, this is still just an unconfirmed report so take this news with a pinch of salt and stick around for more. In related news, the upcoming Find N6 foldable phone just had its full specs revealed ahead of January 2026.

Oppo’s next flagship phone is still some distance away. The Find X9 Ultra is the company’s best camera phone that will go against the likes of Xiaomi 17 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Ultra. 

However, it is not the only flagship the company is preparing. The Find X9s and Find X9s+ might also join the line soon. A fresh leak by tipster Digital Chat Station has now revealed the key specs of the vanilla X9s.

Oppo Find X9s Specifications

The leak suggests that the Find X9s will feature a 6.3-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution. The panel is said to use LTPS technology and will reportedly include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the screen.

The Find X9s is also tipped to come with two 200-megapixel cameras using Samsung’s HP5 sensor. This would include a main camera and a 3x periscope telephoto lens, alongside an ultra-wide camera. 

The smartphone will run on a 7,000mAh battery, which will support both wired and wireless charging. On the software side, the phone is likely to ship with Android 16 and ColorOS 16 out of the box. The device is also said to offer strong water and dust resistance, possibly with an IP68 or IP69 rating.

Of course, Oppo still hasn’t confirmed any of these details yet. As always, these details should be taken cautiously until Oppo makes things official.

Oppo is expected to introduce the Find X9 Ultra around March 2026, and if past launches are any indication, the Find X9s and Find X9s+ may arrive at the same time. While the Plus model is rumored to be a refreshed version of the Find X8s, the Find X9s is said to be a smaller but still high-end option, much like its predecessor.

The leak suggests that the Oppo Find X9 series and the OnePlus 15 series will each include a compact 6.3-inch model as part of their regular updates. While the tipster has not mentioned the names of these devices, he may be referring to the Oppo Find X9s and the OnePlus 15T.

The tipster added that these compact phones are expected to gain several upgrades, such as an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner, a metal middle frame, and a new design approach featuring larger rounded corners. The leak also mentions that these models are being tested with significantly larger batteries, around the 7,000mAh range.

Today, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked the key specifications of the X9s well before its launch.

Oppo Find X9s key specifications tipped

Rumors suggest that Oppo may unveil three new X9-series phones, such as the Find X9s, Find X9s+, and Find X9 Ultra, in March or April 2026 in China. While the Ultra will be an ultimate flagship powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and dual periscope telephoto cameras, the Find X9s+ could be an updated version of the existing Find X9. As for the Find X9s, it is said to be a powerful compact flagship phone.

According to the tipster, the Oppo Find X9s will arrive with a 6.3-inch flat OLED screen with rounder corners and symmetrical bezels on all four sides. It will be an LTPS panel equipped with a 1.5K resolution and an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

The Find X9s will be powered by the upcoming Dimensity 9500 Plus chipset, which is said to be an overclocked version of the existing Dimensity 9500 SoC. According to tipster DCS, Oppo’s upcoming Find X9 Ultra will feature a 7,000mAh+ battery, reflecting the brand’s new philosophy that “no 7000, no flagship.” Interestingly, he also mentioned that the Find X9s, a compact flagship, will come equipped with a 7,000mAh+ battery.

For reference, the Find X8s featured a 6.32-inch display, a Dimensity 9400 Plus chipset, and a 5,700mAh battery along with triple 50-megapixel rear cameras. Based on this new leak, the Find X9s is expected to deliver a major upgrade in battery capacity compared to its predecessor. It remains to be seen whether the device will be powered by the Dimensity 9500+, which is rumored to be an overclocked version of the existing D9500 chip.

DCS also mentioned that the Find X9s’ engineering prototype appears to follow the same design scheme as the Find X9, suggesting Oppo may retain a similar overall design for the new models. Likely, it may also feature a periscope camera.

Oppo will be one of the first brands to launch the next generation of flagship phones in China. A new development from Oppo’s product head Zhou Yibao has shed light on the launch schedule of the upcoming Find X9 flagship lineup. Shared on Weibo, the information confirms the company’s plans for the second half of this year and the first half of 2026.

Find X9 series to include four models

According to Yibao, the Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro will debut in the second half of 2025, followed by the Find X9s and Find X9 Ultra in early 2026. This marks a streamlined approach compared to the previous Find X8 series, which included five models in total. While the X8 and X8 Pro debuted in October 2024, the X8s, X8s+, and X8 Ultra were unveiled in March this year.

Leaked information suggests the Find X9 and X9 Pro will feature the next-generation MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip, while the Find X9s is expected to run on the slightly upgraded Dimensity 9500+. The Ultra model is set to be powered by Qualcomm’s forthcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 platform.

All four devices are tipped to include a periscope telephoto lens, with the Ultra continuing with a dual periscope setup for enhanced zoom capabilities. However, while the X8 Pro featured a dual periscope system, the successor edition is said to be equipped with a single 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.

As for display sizes, the Find X9 is expected to feature a 6.59-inch screen, the Pro version a 6.78-inch panel, and the X9s a more compact 6.3-inch flat screen. Likely, the X9 Ultra could be equipped with a 6.82-inch panel. It is also being said that the Find X9 series will ditch the round camera module that it has been offering since the Find X7 lineup. The X9 series’ camera module is said to be placed at the upper-left corner. Additionally, the X9 lineup is expected to be Oppo’s first phones to come preloaded with ColorOS 16-based Android 16.

As per a recent report, the X9 and X9 Pro may debut in September this year.
