Last week, POCO launched the POCO M4 Pro 5G smartphone in the Indian market. The device comes with a 90hz display and has Dimensity 810 chipset. Today, the smartphone has officially gone on sale in the country.

POCO M4 Pro 5G Price in India 

This is the first time the smartphone is available for sale in the country. It is priced starting at Rs. 14,999(~$201) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, Rs. 16,999(~$227) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, and lastly Rs. 18,999(~$254) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant in India.

It is available in three colors – Power Black, Cool Blue, and POCO Yellow.

POCO M4 Pro 5G Specifications 

The POCO M4 Pro 5G comes with a 6.5-inch LCD display with an FHD+ resolution. The device has a 90Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch-sampling rate.

It sports a 16MP selfie camera and a dual-camera setup at the rear. The phone has a 50MP main lens and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 internal storage.

The device packs a 5,000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging support. It boots on Android 11 OS and has MIUi 12.5. The smartphone comes with an IR blaster and also retains the 3.5mm headphone jack.

The POCO M4 Pro 5G was launched on 15th February as a rebranded Redmi Note 11 5G, but comes with a tweaked design, software, and color options. And today, POCO has announced the device’s sale date and a single purchase offer.

With a press release, the company has revealed that the POCO M4 Pro 5G is all set to go on sale in India on Flipkart on 22nd February 2022. Day 1 customers can avail the device at a starting price of INR 13,999 with an additional discount of INR 1,000 through SBI debit/credit cards.

The POCO M4 Pro 5G is powered by the 5G-ready MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor that’s assisted by up to 8GB of RAM with virtual expansion support. Its 90Hz 6.6” FHD+ display is paired with a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The panel has reasonably slim bezels all around and houses a 16MP selfie camera within a center-aligned punch-hole.

The rear dual-camera setup is made of 50MP primary and 8MP ultrawide snappers. The battery is sized 5000mAh, promising a 2-day battery life, and supports 33W MMT fast charging.

Last but not least, an IP53 rating is also present for protection against the elements.
