Two of these events will take place in China. They will be headed by Oppo and Honor. Both of them will unveil their latest flagship phones. Further, Motorola will launch a new budget 5G smartphone in India.

Whereas, the remaining three conferences will be held globally. Asus will take wraps off its newest gaming smartphones, while Poco will announce fresh mid-rangers. Finally, Oppo will bring its new Reno handsets to international markets.

Upcoming Smartphones Next Week

Oppo Find X7 Series

The Oppo Find X7 series is scheduled to launch in China on January 8. The conference will kickstart at 2:30 PM local time (GMT+8).

The lineup will consist of two devices, namely Oppo Find X7 and Oppo Find X7 Ultra. The vanilla model will house a MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chip, while the ultra variant will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

The Find X7 Ultra will arrive with a 50MP Sony LYT-900 1-inch main camera, two periscope telephoto shooters, a leather finish, and satellite communication.

Asus ROG Phone 8 Series

Asus will unveil the ROG Phone 8 series at CES on January 8. At least two models are expected, namely ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro. There could be an ‘Ultimate’ variant as well.

All of them will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Their high refresh rate OLED display will have minimal bezels compared to the previous iterations.

The phones will also be IP68-rated for dust and water resistance. The pro version is anticipated to feature a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary camera, a 13MP ultrawide unit, and a 32MP telephoto shooter.

Motorola Moto G34 5G

Motorola will debut the Moto G34 5G in India on January 9. As the name suggests, it is a budget 5G smartphone.

The handset offers a 6.5-inch 120Hz HD+ display (LCD), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chip, a 50MP main camera, a 16MP selfie camera, a 5,000mAh battery, and 18W charging support.

The device is tipped to cost ₹10,999 for 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Poco X6 Series and Poco M6 Pro

The Poco X6 series and Poco M6 Pro are set to go official on January 11. The X6 lineup is a tweaked version of the existing Redmi handsets, while the M6 Pro is a newer product.

The Poco X6 is a rebranded Redmi Note 13 Pro, which is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip. On the other hand, the Poco X6 Pro houses a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC as it is a rebadged Redmi K70e.

Finally, the Poco M6 Pro is a 4G-only device powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 Ultra chip. It will come with a 120Hz OLED display, a 64MP primary camera, a 5,000mAh battery, and 67W charging support.

Oppo Reno 11 Series

The Oppo Reno 11 series will make its global debut on January 11. The lineup will include two models, namely Oppo Reno 11 and Oppo Reno 11 Pro.

The Reno 11 Pro for international markets is expected to be the same as the variant sold in China. However, the vanilla Reno 11 for global markets will be different from the original model.

The international Reno 11 will arrive with a less powerful MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC and faster 80W wired charging support. However, it will retain the 32MP telephoto camera and 120Hz curved display.

Honor Magic 6 Series

Honor has scheduled conferences for January 10 and 11. The brand will be unveiling the Magic 6 series on either of these dates.

Three handsets are anticipated, such as Honor Magic 6, Honor Magic 6 Pro, and Honor Magic 6 Porsche Design. So far, the company has officially disclosed the design of the pro version.

The Magic 6 Pro will come with a quad-curved OLED display, pill-shaped cutout, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a face authentication system, and 100W charging support.

Poco already launched the Poco M6 5G smartphone a few weeks ago, featuring some competitive specifications at an affordable price. The recent launch announcement will surely fill the void in the Indian affordable 4G smartphone market and will surely make it more competitive.

Details about the upcoming smartphone have already been teased and leaked via multiple sources. As per recent rumors, the Poco M6 Pro 4G seems to feature a 6.67-inch Full HD+ PoLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will come with the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. The smartphone will offer up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

The punch-hole display will embed a 16MP selfie camera, while on the rear there will be a 64MP AI triple camera. The remaining details about the smartphone’s camera sensors remain unavailable.

It will run Android 13 on board and will get Android 14 via a new upgrade. Poco M6 Pro 4G will come with a 5000 mAh battery and 67W fast charging support. It measures 8.3mm in thickness and weighs 179 grams. The Amazon listing on the firm’s UAE arm confirms pricing as AED 899, which roughly translates to $245.

Poco M6 5G (Specifications)

A couple of weeks ago, the Poco M6 5G was launched for the starting price of Rs 10,499 (4GB + 128GB) variant. The smartphone is available in two different colors: Orion Blue and Galactic Black. The Poco M6 5G carries a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint, and offers RAM expansion support. It houses a 6.74-inch display powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC.

Poco is expected to unveil the Poco X6 series of smartphones in India soon. Reports suggest that the brand could be gearing up to launch the Poco X6 5G and Poco X6 Pro 5G in India. In addition, the brand could be working on a 4G version of the Poco M6 Pro. In a new report, 91Mobiles published the leaked renders of all three smartphones, revealing their design and color options.

Poco X6, X6 Pro renders

The official-looking renders show that the Poco X6 5G will come in black, blue, and white shades, whereas the Poco X6 Pro 5G will be available in black, gray, and yellow. The report further states that both devices will be available with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of built-in storage.

Reports have claimed that the Poco X6 5G and X6 Pro 5G will be tweaked versions of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and the Redmi K70e, which are available in the Chinese market. One major difference between the Redmi Note 13 5G and the Poco X6 5G appears to be in the camera department. While the Redmi phone has a 200-megapixel main camera, its Poco variant is likely to feature a 64-megapixel primary camera.

As per a recent report, the Poco X6 Pro may support 67W fast charging. For those who don’t know, the Redmi K70e supports 90W rapid charging.

Poco M6 Pro renders

The Poco M6 Pro is said to be a modified version of the upcoming Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G. The Redmi variant is said to have a 108-megapixel main camera, while the Poco phone may offer a 64-megapixel primary camera. In addition, it is expected to ship with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage. The leaked renders show that the M6 Pro will be available in black, blue, and purple. While the X6 and X6 Pro are heading to India, the M6 Pro may not be released in the country.
