Xiaomi is apparently working on the next generation of notebooks from its Redmi sub brand. A fresh teaser has revealed that a new Redmi Book Pro model is set to launch soon, which is likely the 2025 variant of the brand’s higher end laptop lineup. The leak also reveals one of its key specs. So let’s have a look.

The Chinese tech giant’s upcoming Redmi Book Pro 2025 model can be seen with the Intel Core Ultra 5 processor. This was shared Weibo by the product marketing director of Xiaomi, Ma Zhiyu. Looking at the leaked images, we can see that the Redmi Book Pro arrives with Xiaomi Xiaomi PC Manager pre-installed. We also get a look at the stickers that confirmed Intel Arc integrated graphics.

As of right now, it is unclear whether the Intel Core Ultra 5 is a first gen or Series 2 chipset. But it is likely the newer chipset. We also get an idea regarding the performance as well since the upcoming Redmi Book Pro (2025) can be seen running Black Myth: Wukong. While the exact graphics settings are unknown, the notebook managed to get an average of 67 fps, with the highest frames hitting 75 fps, and the biggest drop only being 59 fps.

Interestingly, the wallpaper on the new Redmi Book Pro is the Xiaomi SU7 electric car, which is set to launch at the start of next month. This teaser arrives after the new Redmi Book 14/16 (2025) models were announced in China.

The company unveiled a suite of exciting new products today at an event in China, with the Xiaomi 14 Ultra stealing the show. But wait, the surprises didn’t stop there. After maintaining silence in the laptop market for a while, Xiaomi finally announced the 2024 Redmi Book Pro 14 and 16 laptops. Here are the details…

Xiaomi’s 2024 update to the Redmi Book Pro laptop series features sleek 14-inch and 16-inch models. Powered by Intel’s 12th Generation Core Ultra processors, these laptops offer a significant performance boost over previous Redmi Book iterations. The 2024 Redmi Book Pro 16 is offered with Intel Core i5-13500H or i7-13700H processors, while the Redmi Book Pro 14 comes with an Intel Core i5-13500H processor.

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Book Pro 14 2022 and Redmi Book Pro 15 2022 laptops in China with 2 processor brand options: Intel and AMD. Earlier in March, the Redmi Book Pro 14 and 15 powered by Intel’s latest 12th Gen Alder Lake processors went available for sale in the country, starting from only 5299 RMB (796 USD).

And now as we near the start of June, the Redmi Book Pro 14 and 15 variants powered by AMD’s latest Ryzen 6000 series offerings are finally on sale in China. And the great news here is that the base Ryzen variant starts at an even lower launch price than the Intel variants at 4499 RMB (676 USD)!

Redmi Book Pro 15 2022 confirmed to have RTX 2050 graphics card

Xiaomi-backed Redmi is all set for a launch event today where the company will be announcing the Redmi K50 series smartphones. At the same event, the brand will also launch the Redmi Book Pro 15 2022 laptop.

Ahead of the official launch of the new laptop today in China, the device has appeared on the benchmarking platform Geekbench which has confirmed that the laptop will come packed with NVIDIA RTX 2050 graphics processor.

The Geekbench listing of the Redmi Book Pro 15 2022 laptop also reveals that the device will be powered by the Intel Core i7-12650H processor and 16GB of RAM.

The NVIDIA RTX 2050 uses a 2048 CUDA core and packs 4GB 64-bit GDDR6 memory and consumes 45W power. The 3DMark Fire Strike score of the RTX 2050 graphics card has reportedly exceeded the GTX 1650 mobile graphics card by 23%.

The Redmi Book Pro 15 2022 will be offered in two models — one with Intel Core i5-12450H processor and another with Intel Core i7-12650H processor. They will feature a 3.2K display with a 90Hz refresh rate, offering high brightness and high color accuracy.

Along with the 15-inch display model, the company is also expected to launch a 14-inch model of the Redmi Book Pro 2022 which could come packed with the same internals but either NVIDIA MX 550 or MX 570 graphics card.
