They are foldable, tablet, and phablet. The first devices in these three categories are officially called </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-x-fold/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vivo X Fold</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">, </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-pad/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vivo Pad</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">, and </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-x-note/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Vivo X Note</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> respectively.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">All of them come with high-end features. The foldable and the phablet even carry premium price tags to match their specs. However, the tablet falls under the mid-range price segment like most flagship tablets from Chinese OEMs.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Let’s take a look at these products one by one.</span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h1><strong>Vivo’s first foldable, tablet, and phablet are finally here</strong></h1>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3><b>Vivo’s First Foldable &#8211; Vivo X Fold</b></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">At first look, one can clearly say that the Vivo X Fold is inspired by the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series. But Vivo’s foldable </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/04/11/vivo-x-fold-launch-zeiss-camera-dual-fingerprint-sensors/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">arrives with a better set of features</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">, like dual ultra-sonic in-screen fingerprint sensors, an alert slider, and flagship-level cameras.</span></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-large wp-image-451666 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-1024x788.jpg?x44794" alt="Vivo X Fold" width="696" height="536" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-1024x788.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-300x231.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-768x591.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-696x536.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-1068x822.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-546x420.jpg 546w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design.jpg 1330w" sizes="(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px" /></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Though it is not water-resistant (IPX8) like the Galaxy Z Fold 3, it flaunts a vegan leather rear finish like the Huawei Mate X2 and its hinge is rated to last for 300,000 folds. It is also powered by a custom-made Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Talking about screes, the primary internal foldable Samsung E5 AMOLED display measures 8.03-inch in size and has a 2K resolution, up to a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 4:3.5 aspect ratio. On the other hand, the 6.53-inch external Samsung E5 AMOLED display has a resolution of FHD+, up to a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 21:9 aspect ratio. Both the screens support HDR10+ standard and feature a punch-hole for a front-facing camera.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">As far as cameras are concerned, there’s a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN5 primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP 2x telephoto shooter, an 8MP 5x periscope snapper with OIS, and a 48MP ultra-unit. These cameras are covered by Zeiss lens and T* coating. Finally, there are two 16MP front-facing cameras.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The device boots Android 12-based OriginOS Ocean. It is backed by a 4,600mAh battery with support for 66W fast wired charging, 50W fast wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Vivo X Fold is priced at ¥8,999 and ¥9,999 for 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB memory configurations. It can be availed in either blue, black, or gray color options.</span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3><b>Vivo’s First Tablet &#8211; Vivo Pad</b></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Just like the tablets from Xiaomi and Oppo, the Vivo Pad is </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/04/11/vivo-pad-launched-with-11-inch-oled-display-sd870-13mp-dual-cameras-and-44w-fast-charging/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">built around</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> an LCD panel and a Qualcomm chipset. It features an 11-inch screen with a 2.5K resolution and up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The display supports Dolby Vision and Vivo Pen stylus input.</span></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-large wp-image-451085 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/vivo-Pad-Featured-F-1024x683.jpg?x44794" alt="vivo Pad" width="696" height="464" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/vivo-Pad-Featured-F-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/vivo-Pad-Featured-F-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/vivo-Pad-Featured-F-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/vivo-Pad-Featured-F-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/vivo-Pad-Featured-F-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/vivo-Pad-Featured-F-630x420.jpg 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/vivo-Pad-Featured-F.jpg 1096w" sizes="(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px" /></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It runs OriginOS HD based on Android 12. It is backed by an 8,040mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The tablet comes with a dual-camera system on the rear comprising of a 13MP primary sensor and a 13MP ultra-wide unit. There’s also an 8MP front-facing camera and Dolby Atmos-supported quad speakers.</span></p>
<p><iframe loading="lazy" title="vivo Pad Unboxing &amp; First Impression: vivo First Tablet." width="696" height="392" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Wc3H8EIBcvQ?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Other features include an aluminum build, support for a keyboard accessory via a magnetic connector, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and USB 3.1 (Type-C). The product arrives in three colors, such as blue, black, and white.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Vivo Pad is priced at ¥2,499 and ¥2,999 for 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB memory variants respectively.</span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3><strong>Vivo’s First Phablet &#8211; Vivo X Note</strong></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Vivo X Note is huge and </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/04/11/vivo-x-note-with-a-7-inch-screen-60x-ois-telephoto-lens-and-80w-50w-charging-unveiled/"><span style="font-weight: 400;">has a good set of high-end features</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">. However, it is not a replacement for the Samsung Galaxy Note series. Because it lacks support for a stylus.</span></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-large wp-image-453628 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-X-Note-Black-Featured-A-1024x683.jpg?x44794" alt="vivo X Note" width="696" height="464" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-X-Note-Black-Featured-A-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-X-Note-Black-Featured-A-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-X-Note-Black-Featured-A-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-X-Note-Black-Featured-A-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-X-Note-Black-Featured-A-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-X-Note-Black-Featured-A-630x420.jpg 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/vivo-X-Note-Black-Featured-A-1920x1280.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px" /></p>

So let&#8217;s have a look.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-451666 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design.jpg?x44794" alt="Vivo X Fold" width="1330" height="1024" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design.jpg 1330w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-300x231.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-768x591.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-1024x788.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-696x536.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-1068x822.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-design-546x420.jpg 546w" sizes="(max-width: 1330px) 100vw, 1330px" /></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h4>Design &amp; Display</h4>
<p>The newly launched <a href="https://www.giztop.com/vivo-x-fold.html">Vivo X Fold</a> adopts an inward folding design. In other words, the device&#8217;s primary display is hidden when the smartphone is in its folded state. Although, users then have access to the smaller external display in this mode. The rear panel features a large rectangular island module that houses a circular camera sensor setup and other necessary sensors like the LED flash. The front of the device features a punch hole cutout along with curved edges. Interestingly, the device also features two ultrasonic fingerprint scanners as well as an alert slider on the side.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class=" wp-image-451663 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-renders-3.png?x44794" alt="Vivo X Fold" width="548" height="548" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-renders-3.png 750w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-renders-3-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-renders-3-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-renders-3-696x696.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Vivo-X-Fold-renders-3-420x420.png 420w" sizes="(max-width: 548px) 100vw, 548px" /></p>
<p>The brand has placed an emphasis on the hinge of its first foldable handset, which comes with an aerospace grade wing design. In the Rheinland folding test, the device was folded 300,000 times overall to check its durability. Furthermore, even if the user folds the device 80 times a day, the folding mechanism will still remain functional over the course of 10 years. Since it is the first model of its kind from the brand, it is not surprising that Vivo made no compromises on its build quality.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-454014 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Vivo-X-Fold-Hinge.png?x44794" alt="Vivo" width="1463" height="669" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Vivo-X-Fold-Hinge.png 1463w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Vivo-X-Fold-Hinge-300x137.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Vivo-X-Fold-Hinge-768x351.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Vivo-X-Fold-Hinge-1024x468.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Vivo-X-Fold-Hinge-696x318.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Vivo-X-Fold-Hinge-1068x488.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/04/Vivo-X-Fold-Hinge-918x420.png 918w" sizes="(max-width: 1463px) 100vw, 1463px" /></p>
<p>Talking about the display, the Vivo X Fold sports a large 8.03 inch E5 LTPO OLED 3.0 display with UTG that has a 120Hz refresh rate, 2K resolution, and a 4:3.5 aspect ratio. The screen also supports HDR10+ and comes with a 113 percent DCI P3 color gamut. On the other hand, the secondary screen is a 6.53 inch E5 OLED panel that has a Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, 100 percent DCI P3 color gamut, and 21:9 aspect ratio as well. Notably, both the external and internal display features a punch hole cutout. Notably, the smartphone&#8217;s display also received A+ rating from DisplayMate.</p>
