Allwinner A31S ARM Cortex A7 chipset running on HP tablet device

Hawlett-Packard (HP) is the one of popular computer vendor, and now they also release three kind of new budget-tablet device for Chinese market. Both device is powered by Allwinner A31S ARM Cortex A7 processor.

Those tablet is packs with 7 inch to 8 inch screen size, running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. While the price is very affordable since this is the budget devices, but some models look a little more attractive than others.

HP Compaq 7 is the 7 inch screen size tablet that has 1024 x 600 pixel display with poor viewing angles. While the other model, the HP Compaq 7+ has a higher quality IPS display.

Meanwhile the HP Compaq 8 tablet packs with a 7.85 inch screen size with 1024 x 768 pixel IPS display that’s reminiscent of the original iPad mini screen.

Like we mentioned before, All tablets was powered by Allwinner’s low-power A31S ARM Cortex-A7 quad-core processor with PowerVR SGX544MP2 graphics, sports with 1GB of RAM and has 8GB or 16GB of storage.

The tablet has prices starting at 999 Yuan or about $160 USD per unit and sold in Chinese market.
