Vivo will take the wraps off the Vivo X7 as well as Vivo X7 Plus smartphones on June 30 in China. The company has revealed some of the details of the smartphone via teasers in the past few weeks, but now, we have almost everything about the device, thanks to its TENAA certification. For those who don’t know, TENAA is the Chinese network certification website and is the equivalent of FCC in the US. While TENAA usually reveals the pictures of the device as well, for the Vivo X7, we didn’t find any images. So, let’s take a look at the phone’s specs.

The Vivo X7 will come with a 5.2-inch 1080p display up front. Under the hood, the phone will feature an octa-core chip clocked at 1.8GHz. Vivo has already confirmed that this chip will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652. Further, there will be 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage on board. Note that TENAA confirms that the phone will not have a MicroSD card slot. Coming to the camera, up front, you will get a 16MP shooter, however at the back, there will be a 13MP sensor. The setup is very similar to the one used on the OPPO R9 flagship. Given that the R9 is selling so well in China, looks like Vivo decided to take some pointers from the device.

Unfortunately, even though we are nearing the second half of 2016, Vivo X7 is said to come with Android 5.1 on board. The battery will be of 2930mAh inside a 7.24mm body. There will be at least two colors available — gold and rose gold.

The company will announce the X7 along with its larger sibling, X7 Plus on Thursday. So, stay tuned for more details.
