Rumour: Xiaomi Mi Flagship Coming In August With Same Camera Sensor As the Galaxy S7

by Jitendra Soni 8

Looks like August is going to be a busy month. After Samsung, Xiaomi is planning to host an event where it will launch its new flagship device. This seems to be an exciting and powerful device coupled with Xiaomi’s latest ROM MIUI 8.

xiaomi mi device specs leak

Earlier today there were leaks which revealed that Xiaomi’s next device will be a very powerful one. The new leaked image on Chinese social media site states that Xiaomi’s upcoming device will sport 5.5 inches 1080p OLED display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor.

This new device will also feature the front fingerprint sensor like Mi 5, 4GB/6GB LPDDR4 RAM options along with 64GB/128GB internal storage. It will also have a large battery of 3700 mAh capacity to juice this powerful hardware.

The camera on this new device will be the highlight feature as it is said to be same camera sensor found on the Galaxy S7 (which is one of the best camera phones in the market today), i.e. either the Samsung ISOCELL S5K2L1 or the Sony IMX260. A 4-axis OIS along with this powerful sensor will surely give amazing pictures.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 was officially launched just a few days back and now we are getting news of it powering a few devices already as yesterday we heard about Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe apart from a couple of Nexus devices.

Unfortunately, like most leaks that originate from Weibo, we can’t verify the information leaked today. Only time will tell whether the upcoming Mi flagship, most likely the Mi Note 2, is as powerful as revealed by the image today.

Will they finally unlock US LTE? Doubt it… pass.

they don’t care, it’s only +-4% of the population.

They would rather sell to markets that have more money like the US that is a quarter of the global economy.

America is also the number 1 most in debt country in world. More money but less spenders. Asians countries have higher tech purchasing power. That’s why they are going strong in China and India, then the rest all of asia.

China is in more debt with far less disposable income. Asian countries have less purchasing power. Most phones sold in the US are flagships. Most phones sold in Asia are budget phones.

Where are your facts coming from? You clearly do not know what you are talking about. Less disposable income, yes, but you forgot the ratio against the population. China alone is estimated to have 1.3 bil population while America has only the estimated of 300 mil and that is China alone (we have not included India and etc). the matter of flagship against budget as well is also inaccurate. Because the reason of it being pocket friendly, per say, is why they are able to be sold in bigger numbers than flagships, hence more profitable. And you forgot to include the first world countries in Asia with bigger, flagship spending power like, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and etc. and in regards to the dept, nope. America is number one. The sources are online for you to check.

trust me this will sell like hot cakes in India…am from India..if the price is in range of 2999 yuan-3499 yuan(30K INR to 35 K INR)
