Initially, we thought the Moto Z was going to replace the Moto X but the Lenovo owned company released a statement saying the much beloved X series will still continue to release newer models.

What appears to be the M0to X 2016 with model number XT1650 appeared on benchmarking site, GFXBench. A few months back, a device with the same model number surfaced on GeekBench. And while the specs are nothing short of flagship, the phone takes it up a notch by sporting dual cameras.

You might say dual cameras are not special, with the first half of 2016 seeing the launch of nothing less than 5 phones with the feature. But what makes the Moto X 2016 stand out is the configuration. According to GFXBench, the phone’s rear camera configuration is a 21MP and 13MP combo which can both shoot in 4K.
