Recall the Galaxy S8 would feature a high screen-to-body ratio with on-screen navigation pane at the bottom of the display. The full utilization of the technology would be on the Galaxy Note 8 tipped to launch later this year. This would ordinarily have elicited excitement but rather it elicits confusion because the known function of the pressure-sensitive technology which is to act as a pop-up menu, is already available on Google’s latest Android Nougat OS. Perhaps there are other innovative functions that just bringing up apps shortcuts at the tap of the home screen.
