ZTE’s sub-brand, Nubia, has an event scheduled for Thursday, April 6. The event is expected to be the launch of a new dual camera phone, most likely the Z17 Mini. Last week, the manufacturer’s brand ambassador, Cristiano Ronaldo, leaked one of the images from his photo-shoot with the upcoming device.
One of the teasers is an image of a water droplet on a feather, hinting at a possible macro-photography feature of the phone. The second poster shows a time-lapse photograph of a busy road. These two features are pretty dope and are usually reserved for DSLRs. If this new dual camera phone can actually take these kind of photographs, then they may have a winner in their hands already.
The Nubia Z17 Mini won’t be the manufacturer’s first dual camera phone. A few weeks ago they launched the Nubia M2 with dual cameras from Sony and a physical home button that doubles as a fingerprint scanner.
