Blu, a Miami based smartphone maker has unleashed its latest budget phone – the Blu S1. The smartphone that has been unveiled in the U.S. is available through AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost Mobile, Virgin Mobile USA and all the MVNO network. It is available with a price tag of $179 on Amazon.

The very look at the Blu S1 will make its users feel that it is a low-budget version of the OnePlus 5. The Blu S1 wears a polycarbonate body that is coated with a metallic finish. The handset measures 147.3 x 72.8 x 8.4mm and its weight is 137 grams. It can be availed in Black, Gray and Gold color options.

The Blu S1 has a 5.2-inch HD display that supports a resolution of 720 x 1,280 pixels. The display is placed under a curved glass which accentuates its appeal. The MediaTek MT6750 chipset that includes a 64-bit 1.5GHz octa-core processor and Mali-T860 graphics powers the handset along with 2 GB of RAM.

It has an internal storage of 16 GB and users can add up to 64 GB of microSD card on its external storage. It is preinstalled with Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The rear side of the phone features a LED enabled 13-megapixel camera and it has a selfie snapper of 5-megapixel.

The handset is enabled with connectivity features like v4.0 Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, microUSB 2.0 and 4G LTE. The fingerprint scanner that is placed below the display of the phone is embedded with a fingerprint scanner. Lastly, it features a 2,800mAh battery. The box package of the Blu S1 includes the device, screen protector, silicon case, SIM card key, charger, USB cable and earbuds.
