OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has added fresh camera samples to his Weibo account. The new images that were shot at Stanford, California seem to have snapped using the OnePlus 6. Here are all the photos that have been shared by Lau.
The new photos reveal that OnePlus 6 can snap detailed and flawless photos in bright conditions. Also, it is capable of capturing impressive shots with bokeh effect. It appears that OnePlus may soon release some camera samples that will reveal its photography prowess in dim light conditions.
A leaked promotional photo of the OnePlus 6 that had surfaced over the weekend had revealed that it features 20-megapixel + 16-megapixel dual camera setup. The OnePlus 5T from last year also features the same camera setup. Even though there are no details available, the cameras of OP6 are likely to feature some enhanced features compared to OnePlus 5T.
Since the images were shot at Stanford, California, it is speculated that the OnePlus CEO has already landed in the U.S. to prepare for the overseas launch of the OnePlus 6. Previous leaks have revealed that OnePlus 6 will be arriving with 6.28-inch notched display, Snapdragon 845 chipset, 6 GB / 8 GB RAM variants and up to 256 GB UFS 2.1 storage. It is expected to house a 3,450mA battery. OnePlus is speculated to introduce Dash Charge V2 on OP6 that will allow users to use it for the entire day by charging it only for 20 minutes.
At the beginning of this month, GizmoChina’s sources had revealed that 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB variants of the OnePlus 6 could be respectively priced at 3,299 Yuan (~$525), 3,799 Yuan (~$605)and 4,399 Yuan (~$700) in China. Also, the next-generation OnePlus flagship is rumored to go official in China on May 5. Hence, the rumor mill is speculating that the overseas announcement of the OP6 mat happen at the end of this month. A recent report has revealed that the OnePlus 6 will be arriving in a new color option of Blue Coral.
