Even though Samsung Galaxy A8 and A8+ (2018) are the latest upper-midrange phones launched by the Korean giant, they hit the shelves with Android Nougat on board. But now, right after Samsung started the roll out of the Android Oreo update on Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, we learned that the Seoul company is working on the update to Android 8.0 Oreo even for these handsets.

This report comes from Galaxyclub.nl, a known website from the Netherlands. According to the report, the Android 8.0 Oreo update on Samsung Galaxy A8 and A8 Plus (2018) carries the build numbers A530FXXU2BRDX and A520FXXU2ARD1, respectively.
