OnePlus has started rolling out an update to 2016’s OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T duo. The new update brings Face Unlock to the device as well as May’s security update.
The OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T update comes as OxygenOS 5.0.3. Users will be excited about the Face Unlock feature which debuted on the OnePlus 5T and then rolled out to the OnePlus 5 later. It is also good to see the security patch get updated. The last security patch was that of December 2017.
The update also brings a refined Shelf UI and a new design for app shortcuts with respect to launcher changes. There are also new features for the gallery app, the file manager, and the weather widget. Below is the complete changelog:
