If you have been waiting for live photos of Google’s next phones then today is your lucky day. However, only the Pixel 3 XL has surfaced and these photos are of a prototype.

The photos were posted online by XDA member meraz9000 and they are the first live images of the Pixel 3 XL. We already know the larger Pixel was going to come with a notch but we expected a more refined overall design. Sadly, that isn’t the case.

Google’s next flagship joins the notch train but also has a not-so-thin lower bezel. The notch isn’t wide and is home to a small slit for the earpiece and a camera and sensor. There is a larger slit at the bottom of the device which confirms it has stereo front-facing speakers.

On the rear, Google seems to be sticking to its two-tone finish. It will also be sticking to a single camera sensor. In a nutshell, the rear of the device isn’s very different from that of the Pixel 2 XL save for the position of the LED flash and laser focus module.

The images also show that this variant has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. This is probably the highest configuration that will be available at launch.

What do you think of the Pixel 3 XL? Hit or miss?
